Report a phone call from 01606595892 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Violent ViolinistThanks for all the useful comments, I've now had a dozen call at least from these muppets and despite saying I am NOT interested, they keep on coming. I'm calling BT to make a complaint in the morning, harrassment by phone is a crime.
- Caller: Bunch of muppets

- ClownI suppose all these comments have some sort of validation for them, but I find it hard to believe that anyone has been called upto 15 times within two days, it just isnt possible. And as for the 8:00am call, I have it on good information from speaking to one of the supervisers that the company holds office hours from 9:00am, so I have doubts about that one particularly.
What you lot dont seem to reallise is that these are people too, they have to find some way of earning money, and if that is the only job that is available to them, what justification is there for persecuting them for that reason alone? From the sounds of it, they are probably better people than some of you!
Complaining that you keep getting calls? Well, how many of the calls from them have you ignored purposly, left to one side or just stuck a kid on to chatter to? Im sure that they can't take your name off of their database without actually speaking to someone to confirm that you are not, actually, interested? And Im pretty sure that it is against company regulations to leave messages on answer machines. I mean, come on, give them a break people!!
From my experience, if you show even the slightest modicom of patience and ask to speak to a superviser, they WILL take you off the database, and if you cant be bothered waiting for them to organise that, several people have given a number that you can call. If you are too much of a cheapskate to do that, well then, dont complain that you have a problem. Its not rocket science.
Well, thats about all I have to say on the matter, so try taking that into consideration the next time one of us 'Clowns' tries to do their job!!!- Caller: Financial Connections
- woop!Well you should all feel sorry for us working on a sunday... At least you're at home doing errr nofin! We have a job to do and i presume that nobody gives you abuse in your job because you would report it wouldn't you?? Well dont give it to us then. And by the way if you don't answer the phone then we put it down as no contact, and so we ring you back. So dont think that we just 'get the message' Were not mind readers ok?? its a job at the end of the day so just deal with it n stop givin ur numba out on surveys!!! Lotza Love!!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
- idiot/clown(dont have a preference!)these are really nice comments guys
but i have actually been called worse things in my time
we dont ring you
the computer does
you all go out to work
and most jobs out there involve selling people something
its not like were being selfish
were doin this for your sake not ours,
after all its your mortgage and family's
not ours
we are not clowns or idiots
we are simply doing our jobs
we all have an education, and most of us are still in education
by people ignoring the calls
or picking up and putting it down before we have even spoke a word
u are basically asking for more calls tobe made to your numbers
dont take it out on the employee's
we are just as good as you
at least we have a job
we are just trying to be a little more indipendant
you would all comlain if everyone who worked here claimed the dole!! - employee2The majority of us that work here earning 'a pitttence' are students, working to get us thorugh college and university. So next time you shout abuse down the phone remember that we will one day be your doctors, nurses, teachers, accountants and lawyers. Everyone has to make a living, say no to the survey and you will not get any calls. Simple.
- ClownTo Cunning Stunt, A pittance? Well, I wouldn't excactly call it that. The pay is actually pretty good. . . Which you would know if you bothered to actually TRY and find some empathy in your cold, cold heart, and maybe found out a little bit about telesales before you go mouthing off about the workers here. I've said it before and I'll say it again:- For some of us, this is the only job which is available to us which will pay the bills. We have lives you know, half of us are doing this so that we can get through college, Uni, etc to get better jobs. Although, if there's a possibility that we will end up as bitter as you seem to be, I might not bother. . . And on that note, how can you bear to abuse us so soundly when you are obviously an uneducated moron yourself? Hmm. . . Interesting thought that. . .

- Employee.Sorry if us trying to earn ourselves a living is so inconvinient for you!
We do not have a choice who we ring, however we are not what you seem to call "cold calling"...
All of our data is obtained from companies who have previously surveyed UK residents over the phone or the internet in the last 6 months.
We suggest to avoid calls like this, you either don't answer surveys.
Or don't be rude when someone does ring and then they will be courteous enough to remove you from the system.
However, speaking from personal experience, we have found that when you are consistently rude, for no reason, then we will want to be nasty and put you back through the system!
It is not a tedious job just telling someone you are not interested!!
Also, to clarify, we are allowed to call between the hours of;
9am - 9pm, Monday - Friday,
12 midday - 6 pm on weekends.
This is governed by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). - nat_urallythe last 3 comments??have you actually been on the recieving end of your f'cking calls? YES...i do get calls loads of times a day...4 so far today. nobody on here has any reason to lie about that anyway. if i answer the phone and tell them im not interested (which ive done several times) then why did somebody obviously still hit the no contact?...because..they think by pestering me i'll eventually give in. we've all been subject to cold calling before but never this bad. generally speaking i do actually give them the time of day and answer questions for surveys etc. because i know its their job. i have given up caring now over these/you morons.this company needs to get a grip. i cant believe im being called as much as i am its ridiculous
- idiot/clown(dont have a preference!)dont answer
why dont you people get it
were not morons
you have jobs
we have jobs
just because we dont do the same job as you
does not mean we are morons
WHY DONT YOU GET A GRIP!!!!!
be polite and courtious
and you will get the same treatment
as i have already said
we all have an education! - Clown (and proud of it!)nat_urally:- I believe one of my colleagues, (pseudonym - Employee) has just pointed out that these are not, in fact, cold calls. They are WARM calls, our data is recieved from across the Uk, so at some point you have actually said that you would be interested in one of our calls. And you yourself have just pointed out your main problem:
[quote] generally speaking i do actually give them the time of day and answer questions for surveys etc. [unquote]
No-one is forcing you to complete these surveys, its done of your own free will, so you should expect at least some calls back. And if you are genuinly not interested, well, dont answer the surveys, and try just using a few of the manners that I am assuming that your mother must have taught you at some point, keep your patience, be polite, and if you still get called back, Calmly request to speak to one of our supervisers and s/he will take your name off the database. Alternatively, if you are NOT too much of a cheapskate, simply dial 1471 and follow the automated instructions.
With kindest regards, Clown.
P.S. We are not morons. We are paying our way through our education in some of the best Colleges in the area. Explain that.- Caller: Financial Connections
- nat_urallyi do understand what your all saying (even if it is in a harsh way)i understand its your job, and i appreciate that, i too am a student and understand having to jobs like this to get through uni. maybe if i had calls from you specifically i wouldnt get calls again. but i can honestly say i have always been polite on the phone and told them i am not interested. i have quite often then had whoever was on the end hang straight up. i dont want to give anyone hassle about it. but i have tried to be sympathetic and polite, so i do not understand why they persist to ring me
- Employee. If we call you and we get through to an answering machine, or if you put the phone down straight away, it is our job to put you back through the system!
Therefore you will be rung again, until we speak to someone who tells us;
a) You are not interested
b) To call back another time
c) That you would like to go through with the quote
Fair enough, it must get annoying to find that you have several missed calls from a number you must recognise, from personal experience I agree.
But, after all, we are doing what we get paid for, and just for reference it is not a "pittance".
But, please be patient, be polite!
After all, since when did being rude and offensive get you anywhere. - Clownnat_urally - Who's being harsh? Ive tried to be as polite as possible on this website, as despite contrary belief, I dont agree with pointless name calling. As Employee once again pointed out, it is our job, she has explained it all to you as best s/he could, and if you dont like it, well, there isnt much that we can do for you.

- Cunning StuntJust to clarify.
My comment was directed towards one person and their attitude in their post, as shown below.
financial connexions employee
"every1 hu has left a comment on this website i am going to personally make sure i ring you back whether u want life insurance or not ok. and if u dont want i will just click the no contact button so u keep getting these calls. after all im getting paid to annoy u fukkkkers so god bless xxxx"
Me
"Getting paid a pittance to get abuse and rejection over and over?... I'm so envious of your sad little life... Not.
Also please explain how you are gonna call all these people when you don't know owt about 'em?!! Use your tiny brain for once you moron."
And I know the pay is not good from personal experience. - leanerI started getting these calls after filling in an online survey offering a free gift in return. Then they claimed that I had asked for a life insurance quote! I suspect that people are getting these calls because their kids have been suckered into filling in similar surveys in return for a "free" Wii or similar.
Mostly you get a call from any company related to anything that you have aexpressed an interest in, like "When's your car insurance due?".
Trouble is it looks like this company is trawling these surveys for all the phone numbers, whether your interested or not. Then using this to get round the Telephone Preference System that blocks cold callers.
I would suggest that we all take the time to fill in as many of these surveys as possible using their phone number (and email address if any body can find it).
The silent calls are the result of them leaving your number on their automatic dialing computer. This dials hundreds of numbers at once. Then the sales rep only has to pick up a call after it has been answered. If more calls on the system are answered than there are sales reps free at the time, then the computer hangs up on you.
If they are leaving you on the dialling database after talking to you, then they are probably the company running a scam to boost the number of calls thay are apparently making. Some Insurance company is most likely being ripped off - gleaner
- me at homebeen getting calls from this number for the last 3 weeks at least 1 a day if not more i've just rung 0845 0560451 they say my number has been taken off they data base WE SHALL SEE
