You all have far to much time on your hands, I have come on this website by accident and find it very amusing. Nuisance calls are obviously taken up time of yours Rob, which you dont like but please dont waste any more by bickering on the website.

Russell you are obviously protecting your place of work, but why bother getting abuse off people when you get home?

Don't bother answering as I am nevr coming on this website again cos I have better things to do with my time. Just some food for thought.

Hi Laffin at me part 2.
It took only 15 seconds to find that company info. Thanks for enquiring after my heart and health, No doubt it will disappoint you to learn that I am excellent physical and mental shape this is due to me being a scuba diving instructor as well as a senior manager in an international trading company. Amico/ Xpress direct ect will find it’s own destiny, I don’t need to help along the path to the receiver, it can do it on its own. Though I did find the explanation of why it had not posted its accounts at companies house highly amusing and not based in reality.
    Have a great week.

I'm not having a go Rob, but look a bit further and you will find that Click Life is actually the most recent product that the larger, more established company Click have put on the market.  It is their own brand of life insurance, the actual company is just called Click and I think they've been going for about 14 years or something like that.  Long enough to establish themselves as a heavy hitter in the online life insurance brokerage business anyway.

    Hi Nice

I am more than happy to explain this to you. UK company law insists that you post you accounts in you are an ltd company 6 months after the financial year-end. In the case of financial connexions their accounts were due on the 25th July 08. This means that they will have been fined and most financial institutions will view companies that don’t with suspicion. This is because there is usually something in the accounts that the ltd company does not want the rest of the world to see or that the auditors have refused to sign off the accounts.
Russell explanation why accounts have not bee posted is because outstanding invoices have not been paid. This makes no sense, as it does not have any bearing when preparing accounts.
Annual accounts have to drawn in the format of accrual accounting. ‘An accounting method that measures the performance and position of a company by recognizing economic events regardless of when cash transactions occur’ Hence Russell’s explanation can not be correct in any way shape or from.

Laughing at Russell aka Simon aka Madie
Russell/Simon/Mandie (probably one in the same)

You are absolutely correct about clicklife, a company that has done brilliantly for themselves, the founding directors are very smart men and earn a mint. They have managed to build one of the most successful life insurance brokerages in the country.....hmmmm who tried to do that once and failed so miserably that it made his father bankrupt and loose his £700k home? It was Simon Challiner!!

And now all of you silly little people at amanico/xpress direct are working for a man who made his last company bankrupt out of sheer stupidity and greed. I used to work for this deceitful little man and we were made to work until the very day the receivers shut the place down only to find that we would not be paid for the work we had already done, despite him promising that this was not the case.....But, you know what they say about karma, what comes around goes around.
To simon and any of the employees (which i doubt very much, probably just simon and his new working lady) defending this company, you will have your day!!

Sorry Rob, again I'm not having a go but i don't think you quite understand the structure of the company.  Financial Connexions was a client of Amanico's so although we were very closely tied with them, we weren't the same company.  Amanico generated the leads for Financial Connexions and then the policies were sold through Insurance Express.  Since we have struck the deal with Click, Financial Connexions are no longer a client of ours and as such we no longer deal with them.

To Laughing, businesses do close sometimes.  Look around at the state of the economy now and look how many huge companies have gone bust, however we are still going.  I'm not going to say anything on Simon's behalf on here because its not fair to him or his father and to be honest, I don't know the facts of Simon's previous business practises so to comment would not be appropriate, and I don't think it is right to go around slagging him off on here.

    Dear Russell.
How nice to hear from you again. Financial Connexions and Amanico/xpress direct would have been extremely close bedfellows. I note that they both enjoyed a common director or two one of then being Simon Challinor. At one stage had the same registered office address and common phone number.
I do hope that you enjoy the bedtime reading concerning accounting that I was asked to provide.
    Sleep well.

Well yes its also not that uncommon for 2 businesses to co-habit the same building.  Where would be the sense in renting 2 buildings when you can fit both in one, with both halves of a partnership owning one business each?  Surely you can see that would be daft from a business point of view.

To be honest I'm really not that bothered about the accounts, because like I said before, we don't have anything to do with Financial Connexions anymore, and I was never employed by them anyway.  Besides, what can I possibly do about it?  I'm not going to lose sleep over something that I have neither control over or have nothing to do with.

    AMANICO EMPLOYEE
Rob, I think you've a few nitrogen bubbles. obviously you've been diving too deeply into Amanico. Amanico are here to stay & everyone is scared in this climate... and they want insurance! Maybe you should reconsider your international trading position as I'm sure business is quiet... nothing to do? Why else would be on here all day researching Amanico!  spare time?

    Regards.

    Hi Russell and Amanico employee

The principle of vertical integration and sharing the same cost base is a common and well-used one. However in this case it seemed a little incongruous. Russell you are correct to have the humility to recognise what you can and cannot change.
Amanico employee I can assure you it only takes 10 minutes to have complete company profiles and directors information. Thank you for asking about my business. I am pleased to let you know business is extremely buoyant and robust for us. You should take up diving it is great fun.

    Enjoy your Tuesday.

    Lynnie
Just had the first of about 7 of these calls this morning. No longer answer it when the number pops up on my Caller Display, just end the call, or if I leave it to go to message, it never leaves a message.    Need to find a whistle and blow it loudly down the phone next time they call.  Strangely enough, it never happens when my partner's here!  Spooky !!!!

Hi Lynnie if you don't answer the phone then the auto dialler keeps you on the list because it doesn't know that you don't want to be called.  If you want to be removed give us a call and we will do that for you.

    I'll ignore the whistle remark...

    nice
i look at it this way if the company are doing anything underhand then im sure someone will investigate it.

but seeings as it hasnt then obviously somebody doesnt see it as a problem, from when i worked there, there were a few things that went on that i didnt agree with and unfortunatly a certain team leader didnt like people having an opinion.

I'm a little tired today Rob, near the end of the week and all and thanks for asking.  I trust you are well?.  Apologies for the omission of the number, I forgot people don't bother to read what's already on here haha!

To nice, you're entirely right.  Do people not think that when a new business deal is done, then both parties are 100% sure that the other is doing things as they should?  Plus the fact that every single one of our operators has had a report drawn up of their calling history for the last few weeks, so time will only tell what happens to anybody who has not been doing their job as they should be.
