Do us all favour and admit that YOU as in AMANICO are responsible for the data you buy, if the data has duplicate/TPS numbers, don't buy and then blame the provider... change the provider... but you wont because your present provider offers CHEAP data in comparison to screened data. That is why you get complaints. That is why you FAIL. Incidently, you're in control of the dialler, therefore, blaming a machine for harassing the public is pathetic. You are a disgrace to the telemarketing industry. Replace your irresponsible management with somebody who has a CLUE.

Mr Right, are you living in the same world as the rest of us?  Just because I work for them does not mean I have any form of control as to what data comes and goes, in the same way that a guy flipping burgers in McDonalds has no control over what cows provide the meat, so no I will not admit that I am personally responsible and for you to think so is ridiculous.  

Last I heard you can't just pick and choose who you want your manager to be so why don't YOU do us all a favour and go back to whatever woodwork you came out of.

And by the way, we are not failing, yesterday alone we transferred over 500 leads to Click Life that all went on to sales, so I'd say in fact we are doing the exact opposite of failing and are flourishing in this financial crisis while all around us huge companies are crumbling.

I will repeat what I wrote earlier, maybe if you read it a second time it'll register "admit that YOU as in AMANICO are responsible for the data you buy", note the "as in AMANICO" you really haven't a clue, perhaps you've had some luck with click life, but a leopard doesn't change its spots... and when, not if, those leads dry up you'll be back to your old tricks of harassing the poor public. the fish stinks from the head down, therefore your actions stink. get a proper job.

Thanks civil, its nice that some people understand what we have to do.  In all honesty no I don't plan on staying there the rest of my life, but its been a bloody good start and I can use it as a stepping stone into something more advanced.  Mr Right (your name is a joke by the way seeing as how wrong you actually are) yes we do buy the data we use, but it has to come from somewhere and you were wording it as if I was personally responsible for it, which I'm not, so that comment didn't really mean anything.  And as for "poor public" are you referring to the hundreds of people getting laid off while our jobs are secure, or do you mean the people who give out their details and then can't work out why they get marketing calls?

Luck has nothing to do with the deal we struck with Click.  They turn over around £20 million a year and they didn't get where they are by being lucky, and neither did we.  They did the deal with us because they saw our potential for generating business for them before all others and if you don't like it or can't accept it, tough [***] mate, what are you going to do about it?  The only fishy smelling thing here is your pathetic arguments because you have a grudge against call centres, well boo-hoo.

no worries, i used to work at amanico. its quite funny how people are so concerned about how bad telemarketers are.
have they ever thought who is the scum of the working world, is it
A) tele marketers offering a service offering life insurance
or
B) a social worker who lets a toddlers life twindle away
or
C) the whole NHS who cant detect that 2 young girls have been made pregnant by there own father and given birth to there fathers children.

when you think about it telemarketers are the least of your worries in this world we live in.

Had a funny guy on the phone today who informed me that if I google our outbound number then there are complaints from and I quote "thousands of people" who are getting called by our dialler.  I so nearly said something but I would've got in trouble lol.  Whether you are a fan or not I think there is one thing we can all agree on, and that is there is nothing like thousands of complaints.  I think his name was Ricky something, don't know if its the same one who posted a couple of times on here, I suppose it might have been because he has obviously tried googling the number so I presume he would have come across this site.

Why should the public have to phone you to stop the harassment?  I know for a fact your company phone back the public who’ve quite clearly stated “I am not Interested” not interested means not interested, it doesn’t mean Amanico have a warrant to relentlessly phone us leading to you being met with anger and frustration, thus leading you to label us, the public as  “bellends” - blaming us for your barrage of silent calls - then you pass the buck towards the almighty dialler - that has a mind of its own - seemingly an untouchable being out of reach.. You will harass us until we finally say (unprompted) the magic and seldom known sentence “remove me from your database. Open sesame. What a shambolic outfit Amanico is, let me tell you something about diallers CIVIL, they represent YOU and Amanico, generally the first line of contact is via a dialler. A dropped call ratio percentage should never succeed 5%, If Mr Right is receiving more than 5 silent calls a day & then finally after 4 days gets to speak to an agent what’s on Mr Rights mind? That’s right, you’re not mind readers are you? You couldn’t tell if he’d rushed from the shower, if he’d been interrupted from his sleep or disturbed from eating etc etc…  You don’t know and to be frank you don’t give a damn. To you it’s just a number.

RUSSEL; Think about it. Obviously the dialler’s controller hasn’t the intelligence to utilise it correctly and efficiently. It’s real simple, Invest in screened data, don’t repeat calls that have stated they’re not interested, lower the drop call ratio.

I have never stated that I disliked telemarketers, check all previous postings.
In fact I haven’t anything against telemarketers whatsoever. However, I do disliked shambolic companies that disregard the laws put in place for such industry  

Currently your company’s dialler is breaking the law.
Currently your company’s data has TPS numbers that you continue to call.
Currently your company’s staff owns little or no respect for the public

This is why YOU as in AMANICO are a disgrace to the telemarketing industry
This is why AMANICO Fail.

If you have heard, black money will always stay black money, if you cheat your way to earning this money only bad luck comes with it. Karma. Money earned by ill means is money not earned at all. Get a proper job where you don’t harass the public/break the law daily.

Mr right you are blaming the employees of amanico for you being harrassed, it is not the employees its the owners.

the employee is told to sit there and the dialer makes the calls,if a person answers and says joe bloggs isnt in then they will be contacted again.
if nobody answers it they will be contacted.

but as you well know people dont always tell the truth so say this person isnt in just to get you off the phone so naturaly you will get another call.

if there are things your not happy with at amanico then ring and tell them.
coming on here shouting about it wont do anything tell the owners, if you think there breaking the law tell the police.
if you think there calling TPS numbers then report them.
as for the staff there only doing what there told to do, do you think russell gets up in a morning and thinks im going to call Mr Right today about 50 times.

I think in your own mind you know he doesnt, he gets in and the owners simon & mandy tell him what he has to do so he does it, same as your job role.
you go to work and do what is asked of you, what ever happens at amnico is the sole responsability of simon and mandy nobody else.

on another note TPS doesnt mean anything if you agree to be contacted about offers which you will find in small print on the internet, you may have done a survey or signed up to a website, right at the bottom it say about being contacted, sometimes it will say tick here if you wis to be contacted or leave blank.

sometimes people automaticly think that if they tick the box they will get no calls but as iv said it sometimes is worded different, so in future i suggest you look at what your filling in and ticking, because if you hadnt given your details away like your phone number, address, name, where did they get them from.

Thanks Civil, its good to know not everybody out there is out to destroy us.  There are however a couple of things that need clearing up.  It is no longer up to Simon and Mandie how the company is run, the deal with Click has meant that they are now in charge and will do with us what they will.  You are right though about what the job entails.  It is in no way the employees fault if someone gets phoned 4 or 5 times a day and there is nothing we can do about it except report it to whoever is running the floor.  

If anybody is really that bothered then for God's sake stop whinging on here and try and get in touch with the right people, because at the moment you are all acting as if I can do something about it, when you know damn well I can't.  To bring in a ridiculous example its like asking the man who sells burgers at a football match to select the team.  Not every single employee in any business has an influence in what happens, so get off our backs and tell someone who can do something about it if you're really that annoyed.

maybe you can't do anything about it, russell, but obviously mandie is aware of this site, the complaints, and the issue with the phone system.

surely click isn't to blame for the fault, a pre-existing problem. take some responsibility, mandie, and reconfigure your phone system.

I agree, Mandie is aware of this site and the things that have been discussed, so it is now up to the relevent people to make any necessary changes.

First of all I must inform the readers that strongly believe that Civil and Russell are indeed the same person, or at least that Civil isn't a convenient ex-employee that hangs around a site that is openly chastises AMANICO. Why would any one lurk around waiting for the opportunity to defend AMANICO? It defies logic.

Secondly I DO blame the employees at AMANICO for the harassment, Who else would I blame, Margaret Thatcher?

Where did “they” get them from… “they” are those cheap unscreened data providers that acquire information by many means, however this DOES include pharming, phishing, scamming and tricking honest folk out of their personal particulars. You CHOOSE to purchase data from such shady firms knowing all to well of how the leads are generated.

This is a scandal. I would be absolutely ashamed of my self if I worked for AMANICO, A place where you can make a quick buck whilst dishonouring the poor public.

This is why AMANICO should close down its shambolic trading out of sheer embarrassment.

I used to work for amanico that much is true but i handed my notice in some time ago.

i have the right to come on this site as much as then next person, i like coming on here because it makes me laugh.

Yes there were somethings that went on there that i didnt agree with but other aspects were ok, im not going to jump on the band wagon and bad mouth them.

I will tell you how it is as iv said yes somethings didnt seem right there but i enjoyed my time there because i got on well with the people there, i explained to you about how they get your information because when i asked the same question when i started what i told you is what i was told.

so if that is wrong then there isnt a lot i can do, yes there was a reason for me leaving because there was something that happened there which was against my morals and i didnt agree with.
