Report a phone call from 01606595892 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- civili dont work for amanico, i used to.
Mr right you are blaming the employees of amanico for you being harrassed, it is not the employees its the owners.
the employee is told to sit there and the dialer makes the calls,if a person answers and says joe bloggs isnt in then they will be contacted again.
if nobody answers it they will be contacted.
but as you well know people dont always tell the truth so say this person isnt in just to get you off the phone so naturaly you will get another call.
if there are things your not happy with at amanico then ring and tell them.
coming on here shouting about it wont do anything tell the owners, if you think there breaking the law tell the police.
if you think there calling TPS numbers then report them.
as for the staff there only doing what there told to do, do you think russell gets up in a morning and thinks im going to call Mr Right today about 50 times.
I think in your own mind you know he doesnt, he gets in and the owners simon & mandy tell him what he has to do so he does it, same as your job role.
you go to work and do what is asked of you, what ever happens at amnico is the sole responsability of simon and mandy nobody else.
on another note TPS doesnt mean anything if you agree to be contacted about offers which you will find in small print on the internet, you may have done a survey or signed up to a website, right at the bottom it say about being contacted, sometimes it will say tick here if you wis to be contacted or leave blank.
sometimes people automaticly think that if they tick the box they will get no calls but as iv said it sometimes is worded different, so in future i suggest you look at what your filling in and ticking, because if you hadnt given your details away like your phone number, address, name, where did they get them from. - RussellThanks Civil, its good to know not everybody out there is out to destroy us. There are however a couple of things that need clearing up. It is no longer up to Simon and Mandie how the company is run, the deal with Click has meant that they are now in charge and will do with us what they will. You are right though about what the job entails. It is in no way the employees fault if someone gets phoned 4 or 5 times a day and there is nothing we can do about it except report it to whoever is running the floor.
If anybody is really that bothered then for God's sake stop whinging on here and try and get in touch with the right people, because at the moment you are all acting as if I can do something about it, when you know damn well I can't. To bring in a ridiculous example its like asking the man who sells burgers at a football match to select the team. Not every single employee in any business has an influence in what happens, so get off our backs and tell someone who can do something about it if you're really that annoyed. - a watchermaybe you can't do anything about it, russell, but obviously mandie is aware of this site, the complaints, and the issue with the phone system.
surely click isn't to blame for the fault, a pre-existing problem. take some responsibility, mandie, and reconfigure your phone system. - RussellI agree, Mandie is aware of this site and the things that have been discussed, so it is now up to the relevent people to make any necessary changes.
- Mr RightFirst of all I must inform the readers that strongly believe that Civil and Russell are indeed the same person, or at least that Civil isn't a convenient ex-employee that hangs around a site that is openly chastises AMANICO. Why would any one lurk around waiting for the opportunity to defend AMANICO? It defies logic.
Secondly I DO blame the employees at AMANICO for the harassment, Who else would I blame, Margaret Thatcher?
Thirdly I will answer your question/statement;
“sometimes people automaticly think that if they tick the box they will get no calls but as iv said it sometimes is worded different, so in future i suggest you look at what your filling in and ticking, because if you hadnt given your details away like your phone number, address, name, where did they get them from.”
Where did “they” get them from… “they” are those cheap unscreened data providers that acquire information by many means, however this DOES include pharming, phishing, scamming and tricking honest folk out of their personal particulars. You CHOOSE to purchase data from such shady firms knowing all to well of how the leads are generated.
I’m baffled, I mean to say, Is it truly the right of AMANICO to continue to harass Mrs Russell just because she’d been tricked or deceived into ticking or unticking a box?
This is a scandal. I would be absolutely ashamed of my self if I worked for AMANICO, A place where you can make a quick buck whilst dishonouring the poor public.
This is why AMANICO should close down its shambolic trading out of sheer embarrassment.- Caller: AMANICO
- CivilMr right lets get one thing straight, i am not russell although i do know who russell is, and when i say the words Mr B he will know who i am.
I used to work for amanico that much is true but i handed my notice in some time ago.
i have the right to come on this site as much as then next person, i like coming on here because it makes me laugh.
Yes there were somethings that went on there that i didnt agree with but other aspects were ok, im not going to jump on the band wagon and bad mouth them.
I will tell you how it is as iv said yes somethings didnt seem right there but i enjoyed my time there because i got on well with the people there, i explained to you about how they get your information because when i asked the same question when i started what i told you is what i was told.
so if that is wrong then there isnt a lot i can do, yes there was a reason for me leaving because there was something that happened there which was against my morals and i didnt agree with. - EX- employeeAs another former employee I also find it funny to come on here from time to time and see what is being said.
To the people who Amanico call, and who I called during my time there, I do sympathise with. It is sometimes verging on the brink of harassment, not at the choice of the employees though, 'Civil' was correct in the explaination of the system and how the floors are not the fault of the people actually making the calls. The system to be honest is pathetic there is no way of inputting a specific time or date to call and I was told pressing a certain button would take people off the system, only to have them back up on my screen a mere hour later. I'm not sure what else I could have done - the ethics and morals of the company are clearly not matching what many of the people here, and I, would expect. However, in reply to the many posts alike those of 'Mr right's' just above me I have a few things to say:
The employees that most of you will have dealt with are all around the 16-20 age group, VERY VERY few of these being over 18, and the abuse they, and I, got from customers was absolutely disgusting. The majority of the time it not their fault which I cannot emphasise more than I already have and it already has been in previous posts.
Of course though nobody is blameless in the business.
The managers offer very little training which is a danger in any circumstances, however when employing anybody and everybody that applies, despite their age or qualifications, this is obviously going to be a problem that has never been addressed and led to some members of staff being completely incompetent. They also treat the staff apaulingly at some points and very rarely regulate or control the aspects they should be. Instead they focus their attention on trivial issues which just aggrivate the staff eve more. Talk about demotivating the people who are actually just there to work and make money for the future.
The staff that I am not defending in my previous points are those who do put the phone down as a customer comes through because their food/ conversation / magazine is more important. Also those who are rude to customers or who are running around the office causing noise and interuptions- If they want to work in an office environment and be treated proffessionally then they should act it, and it is for this reason I sympathise with customers.
However its hard to find sympathy when you have customers calling you all of the names under the sun for 8 hours a day. And to have your intelligence and intellect doubted by a stranger on the phone just because of the job you're doing (which in mine , and many others, case was only to fund the cost of education... Ironic.)This is not something that makes you want to be polite to everyone, which I admit is not the correct way to look at things and there are people out there who would bever speak to anyone the way and they sometimes bear the brunt of it but it does get you down.
Basically I wasn't intending to go on for so long I just think all of the people out there who insist on being rude and compalining rather than going through the simple and quick actual complaints procedure should hear what it is like to actually be an employee at Amanico, It's easy to say it is people like mines fault, and you could even say that if I was aware of the malprocedure I should have resigned, however there is not alot of other jobs you can get for Vacation period as an 18 year old university student.
Maybe there are acceptances to the steriotypes you have in your head, and maybe next time you get a call you could think about this?... - EX- Employee (again)After thought- I think it is hilarious that you think Russel is in senior management or PR
AMANICO doesn't even have proper business structure, senior management consists of the two owners pretty much.
And as for a PR department haha. YEAH THEY HAVE ONE OF THOSE (seriously if you knew the company you would know how funny that is) You seem to be predicting it's a much bigger and better company than it actually is. - civilvery quite on here, whats the matter have peoples phones been cut off lol
- Employee of the monthQuiet because we've been banned from the site here, and when we get home we can't be bothered with Amanico / Xpress Direct or whoever we are this week.
Several rumours going around about administration, comapny now owned by click, loads of money owing, Simon and his dad leaving and Mandy now being an employee!
Anyone got any defo info. - ...Haha I heard Click own it now so is it called that nowadays? yet another name to add to the list.
I've heard loads of rumours about all this too.
I'm nosy, wanna know whats going on. - RobIt does look as if Xpress direct are now owned by Click. Their registered office was changed on the 4th December. Simon Challinor has resigned as a director. Lets hope under the new ownership; the operational protocols improve.
- a watcherawww. i miss getting daily drama updates from the employees. :(
click, first change you should make is to unblock this site. my mornings are going to be a lot less entertaining now. - Robert SoulI think it most grievously unfair that some heinous individual, with what can only be described as a Manchester accent, decided to call at 2am to inform me that recently I'd requested a quotation for fried chicken, just two days after the death of my beloved prize winning chicken Betsy in a terrible deep-fat frying accident, shame on you.
- Russelllol
- alexgood old amanijoke staff doing their jobs i see. . . always having a laugh pathetic
- Russellyeah coz we work 24 hours a day 7 days a week and can't possibly visit this site outside working hours alex. pathetic of YOU to think that really.
And yes, we are now a part of Click who have joined up with Fortis to launch their own brand of life insurance called Click Life. Apparently they intend to change quite a bit of the way that we do things so lets see what happens! - toniYeah they have made changes they sacked loads of people even though apparently the company was not in trouble yeah rite mandie
- RobAs I had predicted, due how this dreadful company operated.
Xpress Direct, Financial Connexions et al. are all now in liquidation. I took a lot of stick on this web site for expressing these views last summer. As so often happens in life, if you take the piss out of the establishment, it will eventually take the piss out of you. As company you got up the nose of many members of the public. The police and HMRC were both alerted to you. You broke the laws concerning data protection and lied to potential customers. Directors of the company had know glass ‘A’ drug habits, this operation only ever had one destiny complete failure.
The receivers for these companies should be requesting that both Simon and Mandie be placed on the disqualified directors list to stop them repeating their repugnant actions. - RussellBlah blah blah how many times? If the police were that bothered or if they had found the company doing anything wrong then it would have been shut down or fined by now, but it hasn't.
How do you know it is a known drug habit? Have you seen them doing anything? I highly doubt it!
The company has not failed, it is going from strenth to strength, expanding sales teams and bringing in more business than ever before, which is why a highly established, successful insurance brokerage decided to take over the company after seeing our potential, and taking into account that Click is based in Farnham, I think it says something about us that they decided to travel all the way to Northwich just to work with us.
