- AdamI went for 2 interviews for seperate companies both at Dickinson House. They both explained to me by illustration how the company works... it created a pyramid shape so instantly I knew it was a sham. All commission based, knocking on doors or standing in shopping centres. These "directors" of these companies aren't directors, they're wasters who can't do a real job so con people into working for free by equivocating everything they're saying.
Someone said earlier about LTD companies. It's easy to be a limited company, you can do it over the net for as cheap as £30... I don't see how that supported their arguement of making these companies practices correct.- Caller: MJ Worldwide and 4ward promotions.
- Adam replies to Mr MisterPeter House is home to some very reputable companies, I have worked for one that is perfectly legitimate. I'm not aware of any scams going on in this building as I had the impression it is quite a sought after spot for companies to work from because of the location and that it's an M1 post code. However, it could be a sham, I don't know. That's my experience of Peter House though.
- ReporterAny firm that uses shoddy advertising in their jobs (including businesses at Peter House) could potentially be scams.
It isn't the businesses themselves, however the methods they use to recruit and to sell. As many of us know, door to door sales has been made illegal by energy businesses due to break ins etc. However, these 'businesses' continue this practice.
Unfortunately my daughter was scammed. I have begun a facebook page, and whenever I advertise about a certain Director, he seems to report it and have his name removed. However the fight will go on. I am working with Panorama, and we currently have recorded footage from last Thursday of an interview with a Director.
It's going to crash down!- Caller: Outsource Ten
- AnnonHey guys, worked for this company quite some time and saved good money doing it. It's not a scam just not everyone can do it, but everyone gets given the same opportunity, for gods sake guys there is 2.7 million unemployed a job is a job, spend less time on here and less time moaning about finding a job and go do something, life is like this job u get rewarded on what you do, nothing is given

- Not so naive| 1 replyI worked for a company like this for 9 months and got myself promoted to Asst-Management. It was probably the hardest 9 months that I have ever worked in my life. There where days when I didn't earn a penny and also days when I personally earned more than £200. It took me quite a while to learn how to do that but now I am supremley confident that I could earn £80 plus every single day. Given the state of the job market at the moment then I wouldn't dismiss this kind of work off the comments alone. I respect people who are prepared to do what other people are not to get on in these difficult times. Direct sales is not an industry that I even considered or even knew existed. I applied for a position which was not quite clear to me but I was just so happy to get an actual reply that I enthusiastically prepared for an interview the next day. I went for a 2nd interview the very next day to find that I was paired up with a highly motivated person who was knocking on doors. I am glad that this was the case because I was able try before I bought into anything and wasted money and valuable time. I was in a position to be able to walk away and very nearly did but the thing that stopped me was the person that I was with was obviously very good at what they did. I couldn't quite believe that they had been there only 3 months. The way that I looked at it was that the person was a natural or the training that was provided worked.
I decided that if I was sat at home twiddling my thumbs I might as well put in some effort to try and further my skills so I managed to secure a position.
I had previously run my own business, which went bankrupt due to my inexperience. I was quite intrigued by the actual possibility of someone training me to run a successful business in a field that was a totally new concept for me. I learn't so many things that made sense to me in a very short space of time. How to push myself to achieve things that I would have previously given up on. How important it is to have a positive outlook no matter what your situation is. How to make people excited to be working with you. How to set goals to measure and aid your progression in whatever you want to achieve. I was in a positive environment where I was encouraged to grow and to better myself. My manager gave me books to read on business and coaching which gave me a totally different outlook on my future and how I was going to make money.
I decided to leave after I got promoted simply because I had grown in confidence, professionally and developed business skills which I didn't possess before I moved into the direct sales. I now run a profitable business and am very grateful to a lot of people ( some of who are mentioned in the posts on this site) for there free and helpful advice which I now use daily in a competitive business environment. I put my current and hopefully future success down to the time I spent with one of these companies.
The message that I would like to get out is that it is all to easy to dismiss things on face value. I agree that some of these companies advertise to disguise the fact that they do D2D sales. However this is a very raw skill that can be applied to many things, whether it is marketing yourself in a future position or job interview or just learning new skills and feeling good about having a go at something a little bit entrepreneurial, then it cannot be a total waste of time. I would rather have a go than spend time in the downward spiral of the benefit system, and if I can make some cash along the way even better. I left university with nearly £30 k of debt and a lot lot of hope and false promises. That wasted 3 years of my life. I left the direct sales business with a few quid in the bank and a whole set of skills that actually meant sometthing in the real world. If you believe that you have something to offer then have a go don't let other people dictate your circumstance. If not then get a real job.
I welcome any comments just please make them constructive.- Caller: Not there
- Danny Best replies to Not so naiveThis is exactly what my point was.....too many people winge about the amount of people scrounging and using tax payers money....yet they are criticising people who work hard and pay taxes just because they failed at an opportunity...yes these jobs arent the easiest and not everybodys cup of tea..but surely spending 6months doing this, if just for the experience and exercise is better than signing on ..yes I have got a few negative points but the positives have helped me a great deal since leaving the industry....
Guys have a positive outlook on life instead of being negative - Danny Best replies to Angry Mum!!!| 2 repliesas a reply to ' An angry mum'.....
Your son in the most obnoxious, rude, disrespectful, foul mouthed, sexiest, racist person I have ever met, let alone worked with...a 'proud boy'...the only people proud to employ him would be the BNP.
I can confirm he was not on 'my team'..and as I would not give someone like him the time of day let alone a chance for an oportunity...so please concentrate on your own problems before commenting on mine....and 'reconsider your attitude towards me'...
and for your information I didnt get paid £20.00 and I left the job for a better oportunity in the trade I trained for 5 years....
i sugest your son goes back to milking cows - Outsource TenWent for an interview with theze mugs...
Yeah you say your an assistant manager, but still...go be an assistant manager in another job. You're probably not even real mate! Half the idiots saying positive stuff aren't.
If it was so great, why would you come on here to rite about it neway?
This is a place were we can freely report scams...so we are. If you like it so much (which we DON'T) then go do it again!
And Danny Best, apparantly accoring to these posts, it aint even you..so whoever you are, stop pretending to be someone else LOL
I went there, as did my mates, and it is a rubbish door to door sales job. The people working there are idiots too. Seriously, no one these days wants to work self employd. Where's the security in that?
If we were wrong then why did that watchdog tv program do a report on the SAME company???
Reason why...because it is wrong.
Yeah if you want to work millions of hours a week for nothing then go for it...end of the day you aint gonna get much further than quitting nine months down the line with some skills that aren't even regonised by employers! As if you turn up to an interview and go yeah my main skill is in knocking doors and taking lots of ***k off's hahah!
JOKERS
These companies are full of crap, and are run by waste of space people. Outsoure 10 is just one of the foney companies out there. Who cares what these fake trolls are riting up there, cause its probably just one person or the boss of the company hahahah
Anyway, if you go, expect to be dissapointed and waste all your time 4 nothing....- Caller: OUTSOURCE TEN
- LOLI left this sham after our office got SHUT DOWN LOL...
Russell Lewis from premier outsource was our maneger, and after weeks of our pay being [***] around by Macrow Energy and perdm, we all lost whatever work was actually there.
Brett hays is russ's boss, and he was feeding us all this [***] about it being alright and stuff, and then all of us had been getting paid about 80 a week for two months, before finally having no job.
This danny guy, well from what my leader told me, you got paid 14 quid in your last pay packet, so whoever it is pretending to be danny (russ/brett) get off of here, and go and help the people who are left from being ruined.
Outsource ten and premier outsource are linked, and both as bad as each other. our office in notts was cold, dirty, toilets broke...id of rather had no office tbh. But then to have nothing after trusting them was the worst thing. We all trusted each other, and it was fun, but then the lies started to come about. It was never gonna get fixed..they just wanted to squeeze all of the money out of us before dropping us like a hat. And no, you don't get redundancy pay with this.
Basically if you think that working in direct sales, or as a 'surveyor' is for you, think again. quite honestly after paying for your own travel, new suits, and taking into account the weeks you need to save up for when you get paid wrong, you are going to make more on the dole. seriously! if i'd of stayed on it, I would have been better off.
Stay clear EVERYONE- Caller: Outsource Ten/Premier Outsource
- Screwed OverYeah same thing here mate, worked for premier outsource for a few weeks then they closed down. manager wasn't running the place right. i actually never got paid, apparently they couldnt afford it. ahh well, got a new job now. if u go to any of these places your stupid. seriously, these places are shady and dodgy. if you go to one, just watch ur back. guys i dealt with are russ lewis, harry, and andy. really big time waste of space that company

- Matty, Sammi, Rob, Abdul and Alex replies to Danny BestHey guys!
Hey WHAT!!
Danny your such a Dick and seem to think you speak words or wisdom and honesty!
Ha! If I can do it then you guys can! Isn't that what you always said alongside
it's a copy and paste business guys morons can do it!
Yeh yeh you should us didn't you
hmmmm so how's your company doing and how's your MD chair?
INVISIBLE???
Lol - High & DryWorked in the Manc office under Brett for quite a while, and things have changed. Went in and all was good, people were making decent commission, but then boom. All of a sudden people were leaving left right and centre. Brett has been advertising that his offices are doing well...I shall give you an update:
MANCHESTER - most people left because they were being paid barely anything. We got blamed for it, however that really wasn't the case. Just a poor job being done by Outsource10. The fake Danny on here keeps chatting about earning more than 20 quid, well he left because he earned £14-00 exactly. I also know he was looking into other things like Trading Standards with someone from the Notts office. I left because of money too. This situation set me back months, lost my gf, and a big chunk of confidence. Entreprenuership my [***].
NOTTINGHAM - Said to be the 'holy ground'. Premier Outsource (part of Brett's organisation) was this load of crap. Russell Lewis ran it into the ground. Eventually after nearly everyone leaving Russell was shut down. However Brett is still advertising that they have an office here?!? Ohhh yeah, not keeping yourself accountable hey! Russell is back in Manchester now, who is one of the 'Managers' earning thousands a week - ohh no he's back knocking doors for a couple of hundred a week. You heard it right here!
BIRMINGHAM - Mike opened this office. Never really did much, apart from being shut down. Ohh and still being advertised as part of Brett Heyes' great expansion.
All in all, the work isn't a scam. It's totally legal, you can be self employed, and you can earn good money. I did, right up until the end when the scam part started to show:
Even though the Managers knew it, they never told us how bad it was really gonna get. First part of the scam - you never get told the WHOLE truth, bits get missed out. Like you don't know it's door to door sales by reading the website.
Next thing - you never know how much you are actually going to earn. Money goes missing, clients make mistakes, but at the end of it you're the one who has to take the hit.
I honestly wouldn't suggest that anyone goes for an interview with Outsource Ten, unless you truly are that desperate. It doesn't do what they said on the previous page. They are so blind these guys, they think that there is no jobs out there. I got a new job two weeks after leaving. Don't be foolish and always read in between the lines. There is a reason this company was on Panorama (yeah they are connected to PerDM and Smiths Marketing) and it is because they aren't scams, but they sure as hell don't tell you the whole truth.
Be wary guys and girls- Caller: Outsource Ten/Premier Outsource
- OUTSOURCE TENWent for an interview with these scammers a while back.
Read everything one here, and its so obvious who is really telling the truth. nine pages of bad reviews, and then one or two comments trying to make it sound like they're doing u a favor hahah LMAO!
I found a real job thanks bret, and dont need to work with outsource. went round knocking on doors for a whole day. people dont want to be sold to like that anymore, get with the times
if u get a call from any of these jokers dont go, massive waste of ur time. its the job you get scared about, not excited about. if u got offered a job by these guys you would wake up dreading how you are going to knock doors day in day out. hardly employers of the year are they lol- Caller: OUTSOURCE TEN
- Jimbo1979| 1 replyI got a call on Mon 23rd Jan 2012
Their at it again, 419 Peter House, Oxford Street, Manchester, M1 5AN, on this occasion I was told to meet Manager Robert Latti, this came from recruiter Eve Grundy on 0161 209 3431, while the former person maybe completely oblivious to the type of work being offered, I wanted Office based Customer Service Role not trudging around selling Door 2 Door, its worth noting the email she sent me was an exact copy of the one a few earlier posts ago.
LJR Recruitment are still advertising on totaljobs.co.uk and reed.co.uk, they are based at Dicinson House, Manchester, who I turned down last year, luckily for me, when I decided to search the net on who my potential employers would be, lets just say ive politely declined on both occasions.
BE AWARE- Caller: www.bluetownonline.co.uk
- Jimbo1979Not from this number but a company operating in the same way
Along with 20 Dickenson House and 419 Peter Street both Manchester, this appears to be a door 2 door sales job on 100% commission!
Ive recently applied for Jobs for Customer Service and had 5 replies from companies operating from the above locations, this number is for TC World 41-45 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester, M4 5AE.
Again from this number (5 calls today from different companies) have the same speil, Your CV has stood out, we need you for an interview asap, the Manager wants to meet you! (seriously no manager does a job interview or attends one unless your going into a managerial role).
When she, the lady who called me, Alex, noted I was currently in a job she sounded pretty guilty even asking me to turn up as she probably knows the crack with these roles.
Having never worked for any of these compannies I cant comment on the role or wages etc, but by others previous posts you have to really sell to earn a wage, which if your no good you get zero, and even good sellers, as mentioned on here have worked 70hrs plus and averaged about £3.50 per hour.
Its definitely not the job for me.
Bit of a tip - theye are recruiting on jobsite, reed, salford jobs, fish4jobs all the big job sites, so if you see anything saying Customer Service Sales you can earn £250-£500 per week, its probably one of this lot.
I applied for 5 Roles and had 5 call backs with Interviews today alone, having only applied today, either my CV is Great or these places are losing staff hand over fist as the job description isnt what was expected!!!!!!
You have been Warned - RuslanThank you very much. I was invited for the second round 9 hours interview for tomorrow. It is on 20, Dickinson st, Manchester. Company now called Outsource Ten. But number they've called was blocked for recognition.

- jamman replies to anon| 1 replyI have been invited for stage 1 of 3 interview with MIM in glasgow tomorrow, no one else here seems to have mentioned an office in glasgow, doubting whether i should go now, everyone's description of them and their vagueness over the position i would be doing is ringing alarm bells with me.
- ReporterMIM is the same company from Manchester, in Dickinson House. One in Glasgow used to be Smiths Marketing. These guys were on Panorama for conducting illegal activities. They are all to do with PerDM, Dickinson House, Outsource Ten, Bradford Marketing - they're all the same. Don't go. Unless you dislike your freedom and having money in the bank.

- Intellect replies to Danny BestOne major flaw to your comment there Danny... how would you know who the lady's son was? There are no names or details for you to know that... you are trying to inflame a reaction using "racist, sexist" and "BNP" but it is obviously a diversion tactic...
You are representing yourself as exactly the sort of person that all the comments on this thread refer to and your attitude and tone is congruous with the treatment people are stating occurs in your "business" (I use that term lightly).
Your tone also reeks of stress and desperation to defend and protect yourself and your "business'" reputation. I personally feel incredibly sorry for you as you are obviously a stressed and angry person who is lacking in peace, mental fulfilment and any sort of connection to people in your life other than viewing them as "marks" in a hustle or as a cash cow to be milked for your own needs....
I guess you could say that both you and the lady's son "milk cows"? He works with nature and is connected to his fellow humans and the natural world... you scam people out of money to fuel your ego and boost your lack in self esteem.....
