I missed a call from this number. I am due an upgrade and received a letter and a text in the past couple of days- surely the onus is now on me to call them, not the other way around! Seeing as CPW can send texts with their name automatically appearing on the message header, their calls should do the same?

Had a call today, 26 Jan, but because it was at work I rejected the call. Just come to look it up and after reading all the comments, I am glad I did not take it.
I am also with Carphone ware house, but they messed me about so often, will definately not renew with them.

just got a silent call from this number.  I am not even with cpw.  They rang me yesterday on anther number 01925555601.  Have saved both number under the contact name of "dodgy dont answer".....

i have had this number plus 02086175910 call me endless amounts of times over the last week! i got my last phone from a cpw store and am up for renewal soon!! after reading this i a thinking cpw need to do something about there privacy policies!! i was never asked if it was ok to share my details with others companies, and i think it needs to be addressed!!!!

Had 8 phone calls from this number today, starting at 9.30am and its only 2.04pm now! Spoke to Orange today who know nothing about these calls - Carphone Warehouse on behalf of Orange, and said they are going to investigate this. The caller sounds South African (i have a friend with a similar accent) and also claim they can change my tariff without going through Orange - sounds very dodgy to me!!!! Claimed they also had all my details, asked if I wanted to speak to his manager, said yes but none available! Also received 4 calls a couple of days ago from 02086175910 claiming again to be Carphone Warehouse on behalf of Orange, again said they had my details but yet did not know what handset I was currently had!

I have been having around 3 calls per day from these people, but today i managed to answer the call.

Told the lady on the phone i was not looking to upgrade until i knew if there was to be a new iPhone this year. She then started to feed me loads of rubbish about when the new iPhone is coming out (its funny how nobody else in the world knows but she has all the facts.) She then tried to offer me other deals which i was not intrested in, and was very off with me when i said no.

I've had 5 missed calls from this number today between 11am-2pm (along with the other two mentioned in other peoples comments).

Finally decided to answer on the 6th call - apparently it was o2 stating that they would give me the 3gs and a lower price plan (although speaking to o2 previously, this couldn't be the case!).

Got really p-d off and told them to f-off and stop calling and to remove me from whatever stupid list I was on.

I'm just waiting for a call from one of their other numbers now...

ok so whoever it is has already called 8 today....WTF! I will keep ignoring it....bloody pests.....grrrrrr

this number has called me 24 times (  01612168911 ) THIS IS A SCAM... it's done from a offshore account and can not be traced......great.... SORT IT OUT

They have run me about 13 times in the last 2 days..getting very annoying! Got my friend to pick up as i didn't know the number, she told them this wasn't my phone but they still rang! Apparently sounded very forgein and instead of saying my last name (Hall) they said Wh*re...|Not amused!

Have been called by this number about 8 times in the last 30 minutes!

So far have ignored them but might just tell them where to go the next time they call.

My 02 contract is up for renewal in March.

THey are so desperate, called me 7 times yesterday and 5 times the day before. it's very annoying.

Beware, I think this is a scam. Ive had this number and several others some of which are 02086175910, 01925555601 etc call me for weeks on. Sometimes when i pick up no one answers. At other times they claim to be either from carphone warhouse, O2 or T-mobile. They offer me upgrades even though I upgraded a month ago and then they want me to confirm my address and bank details. If you call any of the numbers at any time of the day, they go to an answering service with the same message claiming to be from carphone warehouse. I asked one of the guys for his name and company details so i could check up on him and he promptly hung up. I called both o2 and carphone warehouse and they both had no records of this and were adamant that no one tried to contact me. I think these guys must be an illegitimate fraud business. Beware

13 missed calls from this number in 2 days - they hung up when i answered - gonna ask if they want to buy some magic beans when the call back, i'll need their bank account details of coarse :-)

This number has now called me 8 times and I have ignored each one.In the last week this is the 3rd number to call me, all as I have now found out are claiming to be the Carphone warehouse or Orange.
The other numbers are 020 8617 5910 (10 times) and 01925 555601 (11 times). How do these people get your details? Its driving me crazy !!!!

They are starting to get annoyed with me - three times I've said I'm not interested and they keep calling, usually about once every 30 minutes during working hours and a few times of an evening.

I'm answering the phone now, and not saying anything - the record I have is 42 seconds of 'Hello??  Ian??", and the desperation is brilliant.  I'm considering barking or growling down the line to see what happens - basically if they want to call me constantly I'll make it as annoying for them as possible - I know that they'll give up before I do!

If you really want to get rid of them, ask for their name and then say that you'll be writing an email to Charles Dunstone...

i got a missed call from this no and called it back and it just said it was carphone warehouse about a non-urgent matter. i then found a carphone warehouse no online and called it and they said the sales dept had called re im due an upgrade. think it was genuine

more dodgy calls from Car Phone ware house or linked to them.
When I got phone they still had my details of an old address from 8 years ago.
Got companies calling to sell insurance for first week.
Now 5 numbers calling for upgrades.
All this despite saying do not contact me. Ethical business?
Do not care if it is other companies, CPWH lost my business

We are trying to track this down to real caller to initiate legal action. Any help will be welcome.
