Just had a call from them, giving me an offer that was  'too good to be true' for an upgrade to an Iphone. They could confirm only part of my direct debit details but not the bank i was with, I became suspicious when they wanted my card number. When i questioned their legitimacy the caller became quiet insistent that i should not worry about it being genuine and reiterated what a good deal it was. I said i would phone Orange, check the company was legitimate and they could phone me back in 1/2 hour, if the deal was genuine i would accept the offer. Orange informed me that the company was genuine, however if i entered in to the deal and at a later date had problems with the phone or had to send it back, I would not be able to contact them  and Orange could not help either. I will be avoiding their call back ( if they do indeed call back), and i would advise others to to avoid this deal.

I get a missed call from this number at least once a week, sometimes at 9 oclock at night! It has never rang when i have been available to answer it so unsure who it is. If it is Carphone Warehouse like everyone is saying, where do they get your number from as i have never used Carephone Warehouse before!!!

Got a call from this number yesterday. Answered the call but no-one said anything so I looked the number up on here. They called back today saying that they were from the Carphone Warehouse calling about upgrading my contract or getting a free handset. I told him that I had looked the number up and there was some doubt about them genuinely being from the Carphone Warehouse, he again said he was calling from the Carphone Warehouse on behalf of O2.

I said that I was not interested and hung up. I called the Carphone Warehouse and gave them the number, the advisor said it was not one that they recognised as being one of theirs. He also said there were no notes on my account about me being contacted regarding any upgrades etc. He said that if anything like this happened again where I was in doubt - take their contact details or just phone the Carphone Warehouse directly.

just upgraded to an iphone last night by the same number at 30pound for free. stupid jerks gave me a black one when i asked for a white one

there no reason we'd ask for your details unless you taking  an iphone or you want isurance on your handset

this number called me twice today and about 10 times last week.  I answered today but they just hung up.  Phone not even through carphone warehouse

I just received a call from this number they said they were from car phone warehouse. they asked me for security details before they could talk to me . I quickly responded with "If you want to talk to me then you will give me the security details" to cut a long story short the bloke on the phone was trying to sell me phone insurance.

They've rang me twice this week. Always hang up. Call back and get the usual carphone warehouse message as posted below. Next time they call, I'm unleashing hell.

CAll from CArphone warehouse on behalf of o2.  They called continuesly two months ago, i asked them to stop.
They started calling again this week about 10 times a day.
I went into Carphone Warehouse store today.  CAshier said this is not the carphone warehouse calling.

this number rang me at 3:30 and 9:30pm lastnight. SUrely that's not right. Im going into my local carphone warehouse store to complain

This number tryed to call me 2x. When i answered the call nobody was there.I would not be bothered to call them back, you never know whe you get redirect somewhere in japan a then have a bill like two month salary

This isn't the first time a strange number has called me, I'm cautious about these sorts of things and don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. I was curious to find out why they called me at odd times, they called me at 8 pm yesterday and 11.45 am this morning. I came across this website and the number sounds a bit dodgy so I've blocked it. Be careful anyone, never give your card details out to people over the phone!

Number has tried calling me loads!! Also 02086175910, answered once no one there.  Whoever these people are, are rather irritating and quite frankly wasting my battery!!

Multiple phone calls from 01612168911 which I have answered a couple of times - reporting to be CPW but calling me by my maiden name which I changed with CPW months ago and asking for security details in heavy accented English.
Also missed calls from 01925555601 and 02086175910.
None of these have ever left a voice message, which by my reckoning means there is no way they can be legit!
Having read this forum I'll be answering the next time and telling them to remove me from whatever list I'm on.

This number keeps on calling us constantly. when we try to call back, as it only ever rings two times and goes dead, we get the message, non urgent message from CARPHONE WAREHOUSE, then it hangs up.  We will cancel our Talk Talk Broadband and Phone line with them now over this terrible conduct. Treating everyone like idiots.

I got this in missed calls and googled it. I don't even have a contract phone, i'm  on pay as you go...

These tools keep calling me every week or so, asking for me by name. I must have told them that there's nobody here by that name 5 times and still they keep calling. Say they're from Carphone Warehouse but I do't know if I believe them.
