I had numerous calls from this number claiming to be either from O2 and carphone warehouse and reminding me that I am due for an upgrade.

I told them several times that I am not interested as I am waiting for a particular phone which is not released and their response was to offer me a non phone contract upgrade and call me about 4 times a day trying to convince me this was the best way forward. Eventually I had to say I already did my update to get then to stop.

It should be noted that this number and its accomplice '01925555601 ' were responsible for what could be only be described as complete nuisance calls. Not the best way to do business.

Said they were o2 at Carphone Warehouse, over a range of 4 seperate phone numbers have been ringing me up 3+ times a day for the last 2 weeks.
I am not with Carphone Warehouse. I am with O2 and I do not have a contract up for renewal, it's a SIM only account that renews every month.
Scam artists.

The number is definitely Carphone Warehouse and if you complain to them via their website, the calls will stop

Have an app that blocks numbers that aren't in my phonebook, yet these bucktoothed w@nkers keep calling & calling even though the call is rejected as soon as they ring. Six times yesterday & three already today,

they are trying to upgrade our contracts ,they providing a service

I too have been getting nuisance 'silent' calls from 02086175910, 01925555601 and 016121689, since my contract with Carphone Warehouse was moved to O2.  I have complained to Carphone Warehouse and told them to remove my number from their marketing list and if the 'nuisance' calls don't stop I will complain to OFCOM.  I would suggest that everyone who gets these calls does the same and they will hopefully get fed up with the complaints, like we are fed up with their unsolicited calls!

Good idea. I recently switched from CPW to O2, not voluntarily, it was sorted out by O2 for some reason. Still q happy with them. I have had all three of these numbers call me in the past week. I ave informed them I will take it to Ofcom if it does not stop.

Just had a phone call from this number, I got suspicious when they started asking for my personal details, etc.  They didn't try too much as the tone in my voice must have been enough to put them off!  I think the last time I got a phone through Carphone Warehouse I was about 18 (that's a while ago) and they were talking about an upgrade on this message!  Madness.  I hate telemarketing too so wasn't impressed.  Glad websites like this exist so we can search for these numbers!!

Just received a call at 8pm today with this number and glad that I didnt answer after reading all these posts. So annoying trying to scam everyone.

I am getting calls from 020 8617 5910 as well. Who ever this company is or people are, I'm getting phone calls  more than once a day, I've had this been happening for at least a week except the weekends. I will refuse to answer this unknown caller as the reviews on this number seem mixed; as a scam or a fake call. Should I answer this phone number and ask who they are and tell them to stop or just ignore them in case its a reverse charge.

You must remember that Carphoneware house of part of an organised criminal syndicate and they have belonged to this group for up to six(years). They have strong indirect ties to Rupert Murdoch-deeply involved in tax fraud and larhe scale international money laundering.
