They are a;sp operationg as Primus UK in Leicester, previously UK Aquisitions in Leicester.
Same story as the rest, I applied for a job, heard back very quickly that I have an interview, so phoned to arrange it just now, told the guy I didnt want to accept as I have googled the company, he just went quiet and said 'ok thanks bye'.
Glad I checked out this site.

No offence but how can you be daft enough to fall for this five different times? Surely you should know what to look out for by now?

After applying for a range of jobs in the Marketing and PR field, I recieved a call from 0161 200 1114 (Primus UK Ltd) I had two calls offering an interview, when I asked for further details the guy said it was a new start up in Manchester, with a new office just open. He was vauge and could not or did not want to give me any details of the job. I wasn't available first time so we left it.

Just this morning at 7:50 I was wakened by another call from Primus UK Ltd, this time a female who offered me the same and did not know I had already been contacted, same script about seeing the director for an interview, but again no info on the job which is door to door sales (a few of my friends have been taken on last year with a company called SRM Marketing and G-Force Marketing, all the same process) one friend was there at 8am and was still working at 10pm at night...door to door sales, not marketing.

    PLEASE DO NOT BOTHER!

This company is also in operation around Leicester. I had attended both interviews with another company called Ab Link Solutions which is based in Nottingham last year. The interview process is devised into two separate days. The first interview is a very informal chat and very relaxed. The second process is where the [***] begins. They take you out the way in the county somewhere where you would follow the team leader and write down different sorts of marketing to fill your time. Whilst some prick from the company knocks on doors to try and sell stuff.

It’s not really a matter of what’s legal or not however I will say it’s a matter of moral judgement. I will not be attending the Leicester interview as this line of work is well below my expectations. But primarily is that this job offers NO security being 100 percent commission based. As an academic I observed the behaviour of the staff there and the goals and motives they desire and how they fit into society. Its a sad story because a lot of the staff are actually deluded into believing they acquire their own offices within 5 months and causing change. When the harsh truth comes out they will be quickly turned over and replaced.

My advice is don’t bother wasting any time with these people. Infact do not even attend a job that runs off 100% commission.

I worked for Primus Uk ltd....they are a TOTAL SCAM...be careful. NEVER work for them! I did work for them for 4 weeks....I ONLY stayed there cause I did NOT want to be on benefits...which I'm not at the moment.. but when I worked there i actually had a funny feeling it was a scam...even though I stayed there I never signed up anyone...why?...because I felt guilty...but i stayed there for 4 weeks..lol!...then i gave up and left...if i didn't want to leave....its only because i didn't want tol be on benefits...but at the same time i had to leave...

be CAREFUL...i worked for someone named Mike...they play smart there...once they hear that you'r about to leave..they play smart...and make it look like you got fired...to make themselves look less scammy...

Lots of stories on here but thought id tell mine....

had the whole second interview fiasco with SMS marketing today. found out we would be going to Suffolk after we had practically sprinted to the train station from Norwich city center. Payed for own ticket. Got to Suffolk and after an hour spent with another graduate who I was supposedly 'competing' for the job with and being told to dream up a fake business dragons den style i told the [removed:lang] who was supposedly a manager to [removed:lang]. He has sellotaped glasses... how is he making any kind of money if he has sellotaped glasses? wow... he has a little b itch boy who was i presume a trainee, who seemed to have been indoctrinated into this scam and was doing all the carrying of lunches etc... NOT getting payed, but he seems happy about it---- BRAINWASHED.

i feel sorry for not only the vulnerable people who are being sold too but also the less confident people who would not have stood up to these idiots and told them where to stick their job!

    just sear clear....

I wondered and wondered about this and if it could be a scam or misleading and sure enough i was right. I quickly realised that the manager was constantly pitching to me about the position trying to sell me a lifestyle claiming to earn in excess of 100k, they probably would have hooked me if they hadn't have over done it supposed to go back for a observation day Thursday but i won't be. names like Justin Cobb and  Cristoph Gizzard popped up along with many other ones, why lie is beyond me, people want to work dont know why the cloak and dagger approach is being used.

    Set the record straight!
Following on from some of the other reports on here I would like to add evidence to the fact that 'Executive Advertising, Inc.' are a bunch of brainwashing scammers.

Like many other people I was attracted by the tone of the advert placed on several job websites. But ask yourself this: Why would a big, reputable company such as 'Executive Advertising, Inc.' have to post on free websites? Many companies in their 'calibre' would be using recruitment agents so why not them?

The reason is simple; they obviously want as many people to fall for their pyramid scheme as possible without being caught or have to pay a commision on finding people to make money out of. Any half decent recruitment agent would not touch this kind of business with a bargepole.

I (out of desperation and curiousty) applied through one of the twenty or so adverts I saw online and was surprised to receive a phone call from them within ten minutes to tell me I had been selected for a 'preliminary interview'. I was suspicious but thought I would go along with it as I had time to spare.

When I attended the interview the next day I was surprised that there seemed to be a lot of teenagers hanging around in scruffy attire, talking about their previous work in a bar and how much they wanted to work in advertising. I thought if the company were choosing people for interviews then they weren't very good at it. I know the advert said no experience necessary but I though they would be a limit.

The interview was the ten mins that everyone else on here has talked about with just being told about 'direct advertising' and how in four years time I could be a senior manager. (yeah right - I thought).

The offices by the way were really shabby and obviously temporary and it seemed so apparent that for a huge global business they were obviously counting the pennies.

Later that evening I was contacted to say I had been selected for an assessment day and by this point I was feeling really unsure about the whole thing. I spent a lot of my time at the weekend investigating them and this is what I found.

    A) The company is not UK registered.

    B) Their website states that they are a meber of the BBB (Better Business Bureaus) which is not true and they actually have a complaint registered against them.

    C) On whois.com (a site to check domain names) it lists the domain name executive-advertising.com as being registered in Zimbabwe!

    D) They say they have big contracts with MBNA, Sky TV and Carphone Warehouse (this must mean door to door selling but I am investigating this and actually contacting the companies) but no one seems to have heard of them so far

    E) I found another site which showed the times that their website has been viewed which amounts to about 50 in the last 18months (not very impressive for a global advertising firm)

    F) Other firms are registered to the same address as their office all with exactly the same adverts on the internet - Green and Associates and Primus UK.

I'm sure there is other evidence to suggest that they are not as reputable as they would have you believe.

Needless to say I have not attended the 'assessment day' as I have had time to assess them and mostly thanks to this site I have saved myself a wasted day. I did try to contact them to let them know but surprise, surprise their phone number wasn't working, nor was the one in London...

A swift e-mail telling them I had uncovered the truth and asking not to contact me again resulted in them trying to phone me but I just hung up. I tried to report it to the local paper but they were not interested - much is the pity.

Fingers crossed they'll sod off soon and hopefully their pyramid will crumble around them.

I applied online only yesterday for a job with this company, and purely by chance thought I'd look it up as, to be honest I am so desperate for work at the mo, I had filled in so many apps I lost count. Imagine my surprise to recieve, not one but, two emails asking me to contact them for an interview (lucky for me I had forgotten to put my phone no on the app) Otherwise I would more than likely have taken these people at there word and gone ahead with "both" interviews. Thank you to all for saving me the expense of (which I can ill afford) travelling to this "den of eniquity" which is in Manchester. Back to the drawing board....And Thanks again. I will do my utmost to warn ppl of this shady business..

Hi to " not another scam"

Thank god for sites like this, I hadn't put my phone no on my app yesterday (thankfully) otherwise I would have gone to these interview(s) I received not one but two emails asking me to ring 0161 200 1114 And because I'd filled in so many apps yesterday thought I'd look the company up and came across this site. Thank god, I would have been really angry if I had wasted my time, again I'd like to thank you all. I'm the type of person who would have shared the good news of this "scam" and the "prospects" with friends who are also job hunting. This should not be allowed to happen and something should be done. I will be sharing this on facebook so none of my friends fall for it either, thanks again....

Suzi from OMS MARKETING IN lEEDS PHONED ME AND TRIED to brainwash me. They sell door to door but use strange techniques to try and convince you it is something it blatently isnt. They expect you to work six days a week with no wage 8 am- 9pm all the staff have been brainwashed and believe they have prospects in this dead end job that looks [***] on your CV.
