Emma
I shall not be attending your "observation" day as I have read some very discouraging things this evening about your company and its parent/sister companies.
Having met you today I can only give the advice that I wouldn't touch this "job" with someone else's.
Please see below a list of things that made me annoyed and ultimately caused me to waste a perfectly good day.
A) The company is not UK registered.
B) Their website states that they are a member of the BBB (Better Business Bureaus) which is not true and they actually have a complaint registered against them.
C) On whois.com (a site to check domain names) it lists the domain name executive-advertising.com as being registered in Zimbabwe!
D) They say they have big contracts with MBNA, Sky TV and Carphone Warehouse (this must mean door to door selling but I am investigating this and actually contacting the companies) but no one seems to have heard of them so far
E) I found another site which showed the times that their website has been viewed which amounts to about 50 in the last 18months (not very impressive for a global advertising firm)
F) Other firms are registered to the same address as their office all with exactly the same adverts on the internet - Green and Associates and Primus UK.
G) Your office décor looked like it came from a moldy skip (I burnt my suit after attending).
H) You are not part of the cast of the popular film Boiler Room (2000), although today's experience did make make me feel like Seth Davis (thanks for that at least)
I) At no point was the "Thunder Dome" mentioned before my interview and I feel this is a unfair way to test applicants.
J) I feel in no way that you made it explicitly clear that you are not and never have been members or affiliates of the punk band Primus who wrote the Southpark theme song amongst other rousing hits.
Don't waste mine or others time with your pyramid scheme, any further contact will be deemed as a binding contract that you owe me Ten Billion Pounds Sterling (Zimbabwean Dollars not accepted).
I bid you adieu Madame
Michael S*****s Esq.

- Praestantia| 1 replyNice to see a balanced review and indeed I would agree with everything you say. To ALL the people who whinge about having to work hard long hours and making no money doing it I would remind you how many people try out to become football players and fail to make the cut but aren't bitter. Yes pretty much everyone will fail to get to ownership. Yes you will have to work harder than you probably ever have but you will also get an unbelievable skill set and it can change your life. I actually ran an office for 2 1/2 years. It took me 18 months to get promoted and I was never lied to or misled. Just because it's door to door doesn't mean it's dodgy. My company raised millions of pounds for charity and changed my life. To repeat you WILL have to work extremely hard but ask yourself if you were given an opportunity to majorly improve your life would you take it? Please don't be bitter if you failed or attack things that you don't really understand. I'm not saying that to be insulting I'm not angry at people who [***] about my company because I've left the industry. What I'd say is if you go to the company and you enjoy it, give it a go. That was my attitude and I ended up running a business that gave me a better lifestyle and traveled the world. Btw I left because you will work very long hours and I felt I wanted a better work-life balance (before people start tracking me and saying "why leave if it was so good? I'm not saying that but I believe is a great business to help you in you career). Peace

I have recently joined Junior Enterprises in Norwich its been my 3rd day today and i'm really confused on what to believe wether its a "scam" or not. My parents don't agree on me doing this job my dad espicially. I really believe it was a good oppertunity to get to ownership quick and learn new skills for business in sales, im asuming you worked at one of these companys sms , ect they all seem to have different names. Anyway im just really confused as to why people are calling it a scam. I know hours are very long i worked half 10 in the mornin till 10 at night first couple of days and its all commisioned based( which i knew and do like being self-employed), i really love going out on door to door i dont find it a chore its enjoyable and i do love it, its just im finding it hard to believe theres anything wrong with the company. But because you were ownership yourself i was just wondering what your is and point me in a good direction really? I just dont know wether its all good to be true :/ - numnhive just been reading all of these posts, especially the branch called JK marketing in maidstone stood out. i didnt know any of this untill today, i had an interview at DCM marketing, which is in maidstone, and after i did some research, its the same adress and telephone number as JK marketing.
i also attended the first interview, the day after i applied. and also was told out of 40+ they were going to select 10, i would get a phone call between 6-7. thinking i hadnt been selected, i got a call just after 6 saying i had been. so i presume they called everyone who interviewed. she also mentioned to wear comfy shoes so i presume we were going to be taken off somewhere stupid to do door to door sales unpaid all day.
so yeah, just wanted to warn any readers that JK marketing, is now DCM marketing. stay well clear of it.- Caller: DCM marketing
- Friend| 1 replyHello All,
My close friend signed up for SMS Marketing in Norwich several months ago but now works under Junior Enterprises (same thing really) and has stuck it out for a while now, he leaves the house at 9am, gets home at 11.30pm and sometimes has made no money at all. In fact, since he started, his bank account has become more negative than it was before he started. We worked it out and his average hourly wage since he started is £3.10, when you work 14 hour days in all weather conditions (including saturdays) its a load of rubbish. Please keep away from this company as it has ruined his life and will ruin yours too. I dont care how ambitious you are, if your that ambitious, make it big in a reputable company with pension schemes, holidays, sick pay and all the other perks that come with a proper job.
I guess i have an unbiased view as i personally dont do it but live with someone who does and have seen his gradual decline to a brainwashed fool whos 'promotion' was meant to be last year, but here we are in april with it now being put back till after july some time. Its fake promise and these companies survive by constantly recruiting, staff turnover is very high. Dont waste your time.
Cheers.- Caller: SMS Marketing and Junior Enterprises Norwich
- M| 11 repliesTo all those that say these companies are scams, how are they? they are run legitmately, each registered in the UK with Companies House = UK Government Regulatory Body. Yeh they are door to door sales but they are doing nothing wrong, most of these companies are not even pushy. Grow up and get a life everyone.

- Trevor..10am till 10.30pm honestly,
Same thing happened with me,i worked in a branch in birmingham, i had to get in before 10 in the morning and left the office at 10.30 in the night,at 11.15 am we got the train to stoke. I was sent to dodgy parts of stoke from 12 till 9 honestly they didnt even let me have more than 45 minutes break, Unluckily for me i took the job during the snowy days of december i remeber coming home with frost bites all over my feet, Whats funny is they keep reminding you the average salesman gets over 300 a week, yeah right i worked their for a week and the most sales anyone got during that time was 17 sales ,btw that was the 'manager'. most of the others got 8 or 9 some even getting only 4 or 5 sales for the week, that works out on average 8 sales X £22 = £176 a week, £176 divided by the 9 hours of door to door sales a day = 176/54= £3.24 an hour for the worlds most Sh###est and soul destroying job ever.- Caller: 01612421780

- ylime replies to Wee ManI received a call from 0113 243 6925- also from Primus UK ltd. Google 'Primus UK Ltd. scam'..it makes for interesting reading!
- tedseems I am the latest victim of this scam. i'd like to stress before I tell my story that I DO CURRENTLY HAVE A JOB as a supervisor, I am not unemployed, lazy or living off benefits. As someone who wants to work their way up the career ladder to management I thought it wouldnt do any harm to have a look what other jobs were on offer.
Found orrick marketing advertising for a team leader on myleedsjobs.co.uk. it sounded legit enough, the first doubt was planted in my mind by my housemates girlfriend, who said she had been to one of their interviews when the company was posing under a different name, fosters marketing. i was wary but thought i'd go to the interview anyway to see if she was right, more out of interest than anything. I looked on the company website before i went and found alot of rambling and generic business speak, but no actual explanations of what they do.
On the way to the interview i was running late, so I phoned to tell them, and the woman answered with 'hello marketing' i thought it was odd that she wasn't using the company name when she answered the phone. As soon as I got into the office I didn't see any signs or logos with the name on, but I did spot a filing cabinet with 'fosters marketing' scribbled on a post it note stuck to the front. clearly something was very dodgy here.
I was intrigued to find out exactly what they were upto, so I went into the office for my interview with jamie orrick, a huge geordie who looks like a thug in a suit. He started by saying that everyone, even managers and directors, started at 'ground level' doing 'events-based and field marketing'. ok so what exactly does that entail, i asked. he seemed to be getting a bit angry that I asked, and just repeated 'events and field based'. I asked if that meant standing in the street selling things, and he was really angry by now, his face went a bit pink as he repeated - yes you've guessed it - events and field based.
My housemates girlf had warned me that at her interview he drew a pyramid to demonstrate the company, i was kind of hoping he would just for the comedy value, but instead he asked if I was working on saturday, I said no, so he said 'good, see you at 10am on saturday and wear comfortable shoes' then ushered me swiftly out the office! he didnt even explain why I would need comfortable shoes or what exactly Id be doing. i'd seen more than enough by now to convince me it was a scam, and when I got home and googled the names orrick and foster, all I came across was message boards like this with people sharing stories about what a pathetic and badly disguised scam it is.
STEER CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!- Caller: orrick marketing solutions
- LolI love it how the so called managers of these ridiculous businesses actually find these sites and take the time to try and argue with the people on here complaining. Were they actually googling their own stupid company with the word 'scam' at the end of it? If you work for a company that needs to have its employees do that and argue that its legit, that shows a lot.
While its technically not a scam, the job is dodgy and your only self employed when it suits them, try and take a holiday and see how they react. Your only made to be self employed so they dont have to pay you anything with these kind of pyramid schemes. My friend worked for one in Birmingham and quickly cottened on that it was a waste of time and quit after 4 days (i went to the interview but declined the offer). Good on him i say. If you work for one of these places please bear in mind your friends and family will suffer with not having you round at all.
Also, its hardly marketing when you employ a brute force approach, i.e knock on as many doors as possible. Normal marketing jobs require some form of creativity and development of advertising campaigns. Direct sales is not real marketing in my opinion.- Caller: Bad Marketing Companies

- Norwich - Junior enterpriseFound this job advertised on jobsite.com and applied on the saturday, woke up this morning (nmonday) to a email from them saying they were considering my application, received a phonecall 1 hour later which I missed and had a voice mail saying I had been selected for interview. Having done my research I discovered that 3 "different" companies all operate from the the same offices for the past 2 years - SRM, SMS and now Junior Enterprise. ALl recieving much the same scam posts on numerous websites for these 3 companies. I promptly emailed them back telling them I had no interest working for such a company and that they should change their false advertising on job sites and stop preying on vulnerable people who need work. DO NOT work for them.

- funny company| 1 replyJust look at Junior Enterprise homepage, click on press, and look at what they included in that pretentious section, just read the headlines and then the articles inside, it's hilarious! lol, They have headlines goes something like 'Royal Wedding', 'Champions league Messi', 'Premiership League Race'. hahaha!
I was expecting to read how this company has ties with such big events, all the articles in there is about how one of their so called staff thought of the events when they watched it probably on their tv at home lol wtf?
Just go one there it makes hilarious reading. Talking about trying too hard to promote oneself. my lord it was funny.- Caller: jnr enterprise
- Hahahah replies to funny companyHahahaha just read the Messi article on the Junior Enterprises website. Funniest thing ever. The MD believes Junior Enterprises and Messi are the same as they both use teamwork. HAHAHAHAH.
Its hardly press is it? Some self written articles about current events. More like a propaganda blog.
Also the royal wedding one..... literally summarised parts of the wedding with the rest of it being management jargon saying what they do. Anyone with half an education can see straight through this company so most of us dont need to worry about being conned into it. Hahah.
You can be certain the guy that wrote them very proud of himself.
Well pointed out by you!! - not stupid replies to hoti beeoh THANK YOU VERY MUCH........i am so thankful to people who warn others these places should be shut down .....its not fair on people desperate for work ***
- HahahaNow that the fixture list has come out, im so glad i dont work here anymore.
