- doesn't matterI don't think Aspire, B1 and so on are scams..... But I really reallly think Mike Graham who works for Primus Uk is scamming people.... because on his facebook he goes his company is called P&G marketing, but when you work with him in old street he goes its called Primus UK, if you search primusUk with P&G marketing there is no link connection.... but the other managers were actually being honest on facebook about how or what company they work with...
the other manager are telling the truth on facebook.... But mike sounds dodgy on his facebook...
and yes it is true he does act like hew owes the whole office... but really he doesn't.... I had a funny feeling Mike was the actual guy who was scamming people I just didn't know what to believe.... I just knew it... When I saw his facebook that made me feel even more suspicious....
Duncan, Olu, Christoph, Chetan.... are NOT scamming anyone.... they seem to be very honest people about there work.... I've spoken to them they aren't bad.... although I did like want to get on duncans nerves cause it looked funny... but Mike Graham who works in old street is weird.... he goes to me.."I think you should go home do something else...because your telling me how to run my business..this is my business I will run it how I want".... erm...no I didn't say that at, all I said was "I need help on my close 2 mostly the end bit and I'm finding it difficult because people are ignoring me, and I feel like an idiot, and my mum doesn't want me to work here, because I've made no money, I'm getting completely ignored"... how does that mean I'm telling him how to run his business?! it doesn't!.... lol its not even his business! its Richards business...if I wanted to do that I'd go to manchester and speak to richard Not mike! Mike doesn't owe Primus UK richard does! he even called me a fake for three weeks, and I was only there for four weeks, and he completely ignored me when I tried to explain my reason, he didn't want to hear it, and it was ONLY my first week when he started to call me a fake!
for those who are planning to work in Old Street, 1 bath street....GOOD LUCK...... just DO NOT work for Mike....MIKE GRAHAM IS THE REAL SCAM... he is the latino guy who is usually in the atmosphere, he doesn't even do his job properly, he just shouts like an idiot.... he is the REAL scam, DO NOT WORK FOR HIM... the others are not...the other managers are good.. so you can work for the others...
I think they should kick mike out and make Andy or someone else the manager.... cause mike is weird....- Caller: doesn't matter
- Lucie Citanova replies to HammezOh MY GOD!! USMAN was the same guy who mentored me yesterday!! oh i cant believe he told you the same stupid tactis of naming the restaurant.. he is a knob!! telling me how in 6 months i could be a manager when he him self has been in the company for 18 months!!!!!
jeeee - lucie Citanova replies to Employee perdmI am sorry...I have worked in New York, Miami, Prague and Japan....and yes this is a SCAM ..everyone is brainwashed by fast talking team and no straight given answers
- Anne| 1 replyi worked there too aswell and like most of you here it is a SCAM i couldn't take any of the managers seriously well apart from olu, omgggg duncan looked really funny with a serious face i'm sorry but I couldn't take anyone serious there, especially duncan. cause the just shout and scream in the atmosphere, with loud music on...
anyways its a scam all the managers are a bunch on 19 year olds so it is a scam, door to door should be illegal
I worked for charities when I was there half of the guys were wierd there. there was one who spoke with a wierd accent, another one who started there months ago with long breeds on his hair, another one with a blue hair band (?!) he made me laugh the most with that stupid thing on his head, some black manager named olu, he was fitttttttttt!, they pissed me off and all of them are a bunch of 19 year olds who worked there for charities, then there was a guy named moses, and some australian guy who I can't remember his name i think it was toby
I only stayed there cause Olu was fitttttttttttttttt
and then we had other people in the office who claimed to be working for MP, scottish power, and talk talk, we were put in then same atmosphere as talk talk, and MP was with scottish power.. people from scottish power got on my nerves the most, there was one who spoke really fast, you had no idea what he was saying, a boring one named andy... and some guy named mike who would sing god save the queen, i could hear him from upstairs I knew it was him, cause I peeked down from the stairs.. they were acting like a bunch of idiots, the some 3 girls from MP who had nothing to do but talk about how fit guys were in the office, there was one who got on my nerves, with curly hair who wore gray, I think she worked from MP I seriously wanted to throw a glass bottle at her,
I only stayed there in charities cause olu was fit, but i knew it was a scam, just stayed there cause olu was good to look at.- Caller: Anne
- responseHahaha re doesnt matter, you say its not a scam but then you state that your mother wasnt happy because you werent earning any money!! Dont you think that most people's problem with this company is that they arent actually earning any money? That is why it is a SCAM!
The turnover is ridiculously high because 90% get out of there ASAP once they realise its a con. Any job that has constant interviews and no limit to the amount of people it employs is seriously dodgy! They need to employ as many as they can to earn money for the fat cats at the top, while those at the bottom earn sweet F.A. Oh and before you say youll be manager in 10 months, ask yourself why nobody at the company has been there that long, or why they are all so young! How can anyone with a months experience really be qualified enough to become Manager?
While you're at it, ask yourself why you are working 12 hour days, 6 days a week witth no breaks and earning NO money. Why do you have to pay for your own travel within a working day? Why arent you entitled to a single day off (because youre forced into a self employed contract)?
Do some research into it, doesnt matter, and you'll see what I mean.- Caller: select marketing solutions
- Kiya replies to CarrieCarrie...you seem to be fond of the term "like any company"....what LEGITIMATE company do you know gets people to sign up to self employed "contracts" and has no set/base salary? DOES THAT SOUND LIKE A NORMAL COMPANY TO YOU?
No job should require me to do UNPAID LABOUR - that's called ENSLAVEMENT. If you are justifying a job that requires you to walk up and down the street all day long like some pigeon, possibly in the rain with no promise of pay - then clearly you don't have sufficient qualifications to attain a REAL job. If this is your idea of normal and legitimate then you have got nowhere with your life. It doesn't take a genius to suss out that "Venus Marketing", "Primus UK" and all the other BS scam "companies" out there are simply targetting vulnerable people to become victims of bloody 21st century slavery.
Also, if it is to be believed that you can earn SOOOOO much money - then please explain why all of these company offices look like SHANTI HUTS?! All that money you have to give staff such LUXURIOUS salaries and your carpets look like that?? Swivel chairs are scatty, leaks? COME ON.
In most jobs yes, you are required to start at the bottom - BUT IN MOST JOBS, YOU ALSO GET PAID FOR DOING THAT.
More to the point "Carrie"...what are you doing on this website? Did you have doubts about your company? What caused you to type in 'Venus Marketing' in the google search bar. Funny how you jumped on the defensive when Venus Marketing has hardly been mentioned in this thread. It's because you know that all the companies specified are involved in the same BS you are. You need to RE-EVALUATE YOUR WHOLE LIFE, CARRIE. - beentheredoneitgotoutI worked for this company 3 and a half years ago..... it started in America and a group of 7 managers came over to England to expand. The job is door to door and they do market for the companies that they say they do, I worked on Sky and Anglian campaigns. I worked with Duncan Sharp and Randa Shebly and they are both now managers. If you want to work for 14 hours a day, not knowing what money you'll take home at the end of the week but with a slight chance of having your own office in 2-3 yrs then this is the job for you. I couldnt stand it after 8 weeks so quit, and although people i once worked with now have their own office, leaving was the best thing i ever did!
- Kiya replies to RichardSerena is the same woman I spoke to. Sounded very scripted and a bit too over excited and eager.
I grilled her about the job description and the salary -
she said 'it's sales and marketing',
I said 'what kind'
she goes 'direct and residential acquisition',
I goes 'what's the pay like?, 'commission only but u ALWAYS make a sale"
lmao yeah sure Serena.
I then continued the conversation and asked: asked her "so what...is it door to door then?"
then she said "it's direct sales and marketing and residential acquisition" -
I said: "is it door to door then?"
then she goes "It's residential acquisition"
"IS IT DOOR TO DOOR THEN?!"
then she goes: "YES. it's RES-I-DENT-IAL"
I said "don't take that tone with me. Why isn't is specified on the website"
She says "it's clearly stated in the advertisement" ([***] , where)
DODGY. Stay well away from PRIMUS UK Ltd - Kiya replies to Thankful Ex-employee :)If it's so great then why did you leave, dolt? Put that on your CV that you worked for them and how you "gained knowledge from the MD" and see if any potential employers you send your CV to give a damn. You worked for however long with no pay to start with? Lol idiot.
All the potential employer has to do is go on this 'Heyes' website to verify your 'newly gained managerial experience" and the assess the value of it - to realise it's a load of [***]. The website looks like it was made by a GCSE student in IT. For a pretend project.
Funny how you all use the word lazy - are you all the same PERSON perhaps? - Emily replies to JenSame! I think we might have met! What a joke! Their 'head office' who I rung, had closed 3 months previously, LOL x

- MissManchester| 1 replyWent for an interview with G-Force Marketing a couple of weeks ago, was unsure whether I'd applied to them or not, as I had applied to a lot of jobs listed on totaljobs.com. Had the interview, with another interviewee, first time I've had a double interview! Was told that I'd hear back between 5 and 6, I did, and got through to their observation day. Because I had an appointment the next day in the afternoon I only had to come along from half 9 until 1. Got there at half 9, costing me full tram fare, not even able to get a day saver at that time of the morning! Then was paired up with a girl who was going to take me to LIVERPOOL? Immediately I reminded them that I was on the half day, so they then put me with a girl who was going to Stretford, had to buy another tram ticket as well. Only when on the tram did the girl mention £1.80 for each of the Littlewoods catalogues, and I said, oh is that on top of a minimum wage, then she told me it was commission based but not to worry everyone does well. So alarm bells going off right now, just commission, when I have to outlay my own expenses for travel. Found out it counts as self employed, so would have to sort my own tax and insurance, something I'm not keen on tackling! Long story short, got the whole spiel about the 5 steps, LOA, all this, and the irony is they were using these techniques on me! Got offered the job and took it, but after consideration and deliberation rang them to decline the offer, which made me feel so guilty about, but after coming on here I know I did the right thing.
I wouldn't call this a scam per se, as once you know what the job entails, the onus is on you about taking the job. I do agree however that they are misleading people through the adverts, think the ad I saw was for entry level positions in the graduate section of totaljobs. I mean, the girl who was the leader I saw was 16, I'm 21, and after spending 3 years working hard at doing a degree that I'm rightly very proud of, don't feel like standing and walking round for hours to earn what I don't think would be that much at the end of the day. And to those who call people who don't do this job lazy, well that's just ridiculous! I've been made redundant from a part time job that I really enjoyed as a stop gap after graduating, and now its finally my time to get a proper 'grown up' job, and I'm struggling to find something, like a lot of people these days!
So in short, if walking around for hours without a guaranteed wage is for you, fair play, apply. If not, I wouldn't waste the travel expenses! - doesn't matteri said..it may not be a scam...but some managers are really bad...
- JusticeWell I went for the Interview in Norwich SMS marketing,
I introduced myself to Simon, We spoke seems like a nice guy, we share the same interest (i.e) Making money and Preying on the weak. Now as routine kicked in friendly chatter stopped and he drew a system of how you can progress on your way to the top as a manager in 10 months does that sound realistic (yes it does to me) Im a naive young man that thinks everything is that easy. I normally kiss my own ass in an interview as you try to self yourself normally. He said goodbye and I thought it went well, shoke his hand and thanked him. At 4.30 my phone rang simon rang me personally not the blonde, but i will personally give her one if you know what i mean ;) Anyhow.! went back for a second interview James took me out and I didn't particulary like it because it was depressing knocking on peoples houses, but I still told him I had fun even though i didn't. 3rd Interview again I was recommended by James so I got it. 1st day of training I didn't like it walked around and around and round and around to the same houses do bare in mind theres 120 house, imagine going around knocking on the doors four times the same [***] door. I'm going coming to continue my 2nd training (without pay) and on my third day, I will speak to Simon about givingit my 110percent kiss his [***] a little and once he trust. The scammers becomes the scam hhahahahahah hahahaha :) www.jesuslovesyouunlessyourascam.com

- Not Brain dead replies to Jesus| 1 replyit is amazing how many people are actually defending these a***holes. Most do not have university education. Where under achiever. However, when you hear them talk they do not voice their own opinions but only repeat s**t that has been rammed down their throats. A1 Marketing, primus, whatever you want to call them are no different from Cobra who they are more than happy to criticise.
Make no mistake, they are hired by big brand names but I very much doubt that the big companies are worried too much about how these idiots are misleading honest hard working people.
Since I have been there I have heard so many bulllshit stories about who disney's partner and animator was and how he left. Funny thing is when i did my research i discovered that the person who left disney left for other reason other than the [***] story i heard about him being pressured by his wife and sold his share for only $20,000.
I could go on about their [***] but that will not do any good. All i can say is if you like working long hours and want to be self employed and in turn brain wash people as you have been brain washed go ahead. The only thing is you will never be wealthy. You maybe rich but never wealthy. If you do not know the difference look up the 2 words in a dictionary.
If you are looking to start a business of your own my advice to you is to join a reputable firm doing sales. Then once you acquire the knowledge you need go off and start on your own. Do not waste time with these brain washed people. Most of them will never see the money they are dreaming to earn.
Enough...... - jamiehi thanks for the heads up the company orrick marketing is in leeds at the moment, they rang me overing a interview thought it seemed like a scam so looked it up dam! am glad.

- klaraThis company is now working in Norwich under the name of Junior Enterprise 11 Orford Place, Norwich
I went for the interview, and the most obvious reason I thought it was a scam (besides the interior needing redecorating and the secretary was working from a lap top perched on a desk - and who also let it slip that she doesn't know Norwich at all - then how can she work there full time and not live in Norfolk!?) - but in the interview I was told that 'today' was the final day of interviews as they needed to select people that evening for secondary interviews the following day. However, when I was waiting for the interview, the fake receptionist took a call from another applicant and gave him an interview for the same job in two days time. Er...I was told I was the last being interviewed.
The guy who interviewed me was also about 19 and I knew more than he did.
The also claim they are an international company - then why do they advertise themselves as a Norwich based company if they have offices in London, America and Europe.
I am lucky enough to know someone high up in Marketing in Norfolk, and she had never heard of them which set alarm bells ringing for me initially.
Don't fall for it....good lukc job hunting.- Caller: Junior Enterprise
