Does anyone know who this is?

I have been pestered by this number ringing my mobile for over a month, I also get 0151 290 1677 ringing within an hour either side of these people.

I keep getting it too. A cheek to get us to call them back. Will report to theire head office. Will think about moving my business elsewhere if they employ this underhand cold calling.

same - keeps calling and hangs up

had 2 calls from these guys today, they hang up as soon as you answer. It has happened before as well  Started ever since I logged on to confused.com

I also have gotten calls from this company who have just called and hung up again and again. Pain in ths [***]. twice today

got called again and spoke to them, even though they called me 4 times in the past 2 weeks, in the end though worked out really well as it's made me some money.

don't see why theres any negative comments, yes the call ws'nt answerde however they are trying to do you favour. (ref mark quite agree worth speaking to them)

Do not do business with this company: they are a scam

I get called twice every day during the week at least and after asking them twice to remove my details and stop calling every time they ask for different details and now I am sick of it! I would not do business with this type of disgusting underhand business ever as they are not even professional enough to remove details when contacted directly and politely!

They rang me and said it was regarding a policy that I had enquired about with them sometime last year.
She asked for my name personally, which I said was correct and then she asked me to "for security reasons" give her my address and post code details!
She phoned me on my mobile number, so it should be the other way round, as I have not got a clue who she is.
Anyway I just said no, and she hung up.

I just had call from this number on my mobile.
I thought it was something to do with my insurance and gave them my address details. I realized I made a mistake and told them I wasn't interested in anything they had to offer. I don't know how they got my email, it is really irritating.

i get 2 calls a day, no ones on the other end and i have no dealings with this company that somehow got hold of my number.

simple solution people, call ur network provider and ask them to block the calls.

Had a call from this number at work last week. The company is Group Direct and they had my details because of a previous request for a car insurance quote - probably from using confused.com. Firstly they wanted lots of personal details, which I refused to give them. When I asked why they were calling, they said it was because the details submitted for the quote included an accident in Oct 2006 (2 years ago!) and they wanted to know all my details, in case I could claim more money for personal injury etc. I was rather suspicious so I told them it was all settled and eventually they gave up. Haven't had another call.

I have had many missed calls from these numbers 01612494491 & 4490. I have never answered them because I'm always at work and also don't trust these people after reading. Every time previously I had the calls from 4491, now its 4490. Every time I called them from a different line previously it had a strange ring tone and then went dead. This time after calling 4490 number it goes straight to an automated message, one option was to add my number to a "do not contact" list. I did this although you're supposed to dial a pound sign (£) after the number which from a land line isn't possible, it acepted hash (#) and said the number was added.

I've been having these calls for 2 days and they keep hanging up. After reading the message saying it's Auto Direct I rang it back as I have car insurance with them- It was a tele sales company!!!!

There was an option on the recorded message to have your number wiped off their data base, I did that, but they still keep calling!!!
