Keep gettng calls everyday going to.write a letter of conplaint

Call's every week day...as I'm deaf and no-one else calls me, it's a bit of an insult GRRRR!

I've been getting a single ring and hang-up on my moible from this number every two days or so for about three months. I was shopping for motorcycle insurance at that time, and though I dind't give my mobile numebr in any forms, I did use it to ring around.

I've got a call blocker on my moble now which answers and then instantly drops the call. I have about 20 calls from this number in the log, perhaps when they see the calls are being connected and they are paying for them thye might drop me from the list, or is that too much to hope for?

Rang me "about my claim" to "check i had been happy with the outcome".  Then proceeded to check the claim was for [registration of car I no longer own] not the car i claimed on. At this point when challenged she admitted they bought names from someone called ECar? which she said was a comparison site.  I know a few years back I used one of the major sites who was selling on names at the time.  The reg she thought (hoped) I had a claim against was the last one I had got a quote for. This probably came from the "have you had any recent claims" question on the comparison site.

Pure fishing exercise!  Asked to be removed from their list as it's my work mobile so shouldn't have calls like this - said she would but we'll see.

I received a call from this number whilst in Spain on November 16th 2012 at 15:39 (Spanish time). I did not answer as I recognised the code as being the Manchester area and I don't know anyone in Manchester, plus it would have been very expensive to receive the call as I was overseas. As soon as I had internet access I Googled the number and found LOADS of websites saying that it was a 'telepest'. Glad I didn't answer now!

Chameleon insurance just call back it says push a number to leave msg or push 9 followed by the hash key to remove your number from their call list. It will tell u that is an incorrect selection but will then ask you to enter the phone number you would like to remove from their call list followed by the hash key. Do this then hang up. Hopefully you shouldn't get any more calls.

This number keeps calling me and hanging up.

just tried calling them back, said they were communion  insurance services and i requested a call, i have never heard from them, they went on to say if i could confirm full name address and my date of birth they would delete me from their list. i wouldnt give the details so they hung up

These people are checking to see if the number is live for selling on. Just add the number to your contacts and call it Nuisance. Then tick the box that sends it straight to voicemail and you'll be left in peace.

Calls a minimum of once per day! If I wanted your insurance I would contact you!! So annoying and frustrating, going to post on facebook and other public websites to stay away from Auto Direct as there is absolutley no need to call someone that much!! idiots!!

I have had a call from this number at mobile for the last three months now . The company is Group Direct and they had my details perhaps of a previous a car insurance claim?- several requests I’ve told them NOT to phone me again but to no avail.

I recently used a couple of insurance comparison websites (confused.com and moneysupermarket.com) to search for van insurance. I've had at least two missed calls from this number over each of the last three days. Searches on the Internet suggest that several others who have been called by this company had also used confused.com.

Today my wife answered the phone and passed them on to me. They identified themselves as Cameleon Insurance and said that according to their records I'd had an accident within the last three years (which I haven't) and might be entitled to claim compensation. I told them that in my opinion they weren't following the code of practice, that I would report the matter to Ofcom and ban their number on my system.

My husband had a phone call from this number and they said that he had went online to claim insurance and then he was in an accident. The thing that gets me about this is he don't drive and don't have a licence. I will be going to the police about this because there is something not right about this. Either someone has used his name or someone is scamming people.

I have answered the call today, after having missed calls every day for about 2 weeks. Want to help me claim for an accident, that I have had in the last 3 years, I havent had a bl**dy accident!

I just got called by 01612494490. Rang back got a recording. Muffled but sounded like 'Bobbys community insurance services' tried the ofcom and ico sites for help but they are rubbish. Why cant you simply give them the phone and they chase it up. I am regostered on the TPS so it is illegal for them to call me.

they called me to ask about an accident I might have had?
From what they said it seems that my details have been passed to them by "ebike" the company I used to have my motorbike insured with, I had declared that I had a claim? as it was now over 3 years ago, they weren't intrested? but they were asking as though they had a right to know?
