I got this call a couple of weeks ago. I phoned them back and left my number to be removed from their Database.

Since then I have been getting 2 or 3 calls a day every day since doing that.
I'm just glad I have all calls block from those that are not in my address book.

If you wish to have your number removed simply e-mail nomorecalls@chameleon-finance.co.uk . I did it and have not had any more calls since

Almost every day recently these people have called.  Thank you to everyone who has posted ways of stopping these nuisance calls - I have just sent an email to get my number removed.  Fingers crossed!

I have been called up to 5 times a day and they hang up on me

I e-mailed the address (nomorecalls@chameleon-finance.co.uk)a couple of weeks back as they were harassing the life out of me with calls (at least 20 to date), and i haven't had a single call since, so give it a try it seems to work.

I've had endless calls from this number - I emailed the nomorecalls@chameleon-finance.co.uk before Christmas which stopped them instantly. However this week they started again, multiple times a day, every day. I again emailed them but this time the email bounced back - they have obviously deleted or disabled the address. After finding the operations director Elaine Healey's email address on this forum, I am sending an email to her every single time I get one of these phone calls. Interestingly a read receipt bounces back with her mobile email address which is elaine.healey@mobileemail.vodafone.net - perhaps if everyone sends her a nice email (or 47), she'll get as pissed off as we all are!

Email the no more calls address, as I did this a week ago and have'nt had a single call.

I recieved a few calls from this number, I spoke to them and was really pleased I did. If you don't want calls, jsut send an e-mail to the address mentioned about. I'd suggest giving them a go though, I was really pleased i gave them a chance.

I sent an email both to nomorecalls@chameleontelesalesltd.co.uk and elaine.healey@mobileemail.vodafone.net. Both bounced back as 'undeliverable'.

Anyone have another idea? Call o2 and have them block the number, maybe?

I get called at least once a day. I just moved to the UK from another country; there's no reason i should be getting called about auto insurance or some other UK-based database.

Try addressing the emails to "abuse@" the relevant companies.

I've had luck with that on other occasions.

These idiots will not delete your number and it will be recycled and recycled until it makes you bald with rage.

they will clucth at straws ti try and get you to claim compensation

Try nomorecalls@chameleontelesalesltd.co.uk again, I sent my number to this address and i haven't had another call. I even got a reply to my e-mail to let me know it had been removed.

This number (0161 249 4490)keeps calling my home and then hanging up. With a young baby in the house it is really annoying! I want my number removing from the database - please help!

I am being pestered by several calls per day from the telephone No: 0161-249-4490 and now found out that this caller wants to sell me additional insurance services.  I have been advised that my insurance company passed my contact details to this third-party without any authorisation from myself which is against the data protection law and my insurance can be fine by the FSA for passing on my details.  Call this number to STOP these unwanted calls: 0161-249-4491.

This caller has rung three times.  Every time I pick up the phone I get nothing.

been called at least 4 times a day now for over a week.cant be bothered to talk to them. they have called me late at night when ive been in bed too.

I got call from this number and they said they were Assure UK have emailed them and it went through so hopefully no more calls.

it gives you two options press 2 to leave a message or 9 to remove your number
number 9 only hangs up
best bet is to leave a messsge saying stop rining me you bunch of [***]
