this number rang me 4 times....each time i answered - they hung up, when i rang back it is permanently engaged !!!!!

this number calls home and mobile constantly,hangs up when i answer.so far 3 on mobile,one landline today

had 3 calls from this number in the last few days answered today and they hung up...

Had a call on my mobile, didn't quite hear the name of the company but I heard the word 'claim'. Asked him to repeat and line went dead.

One thing that annoyed me is he asked for me by name.

I have had this number for several years and it is only in recent weeks I have been receiving such calls from a variety of organisations. I would like to get to the bottom of who, out of the few companies that do have my number, who is passing it on!

Regarding the above - I called the number back and did get through after a couple of attempts.

I span a yarn that yes I had several loans, went into a bit of dialogue then explained I did not have any payment protection insurance.

I asked the guy where they got the number as it may help me to remember which loan he was talking about and he kindly furnished me with the information! He also gave me my address on their system so I have now pinpointed it down to a loan I applied for with Abbey National, now Santander. (I only lived at the given address for 3 months)

So Claims Advisory Group got the number from Aspire Money (who probably got it from Santander).

I had a few calls from Aspire Money last month and I told them I have no loans whatsoever. So, they sell on my number hahaha! Called them on 0208 080 0417 and asked for Paul Hall (who is the operations director) and told them it was Mark from Claims Advisory. Paul was 'in a meeting'. I asked for a manager as it was a sensitive business matter. I was put through to 'Doug', Doug being the man that deals with a chap called Mark from Claims Advisory re buying and selling peoples details. I told him I would like NO further calls from any of them.

I had a call from them the other day, they said I was owed money through being mis-sold payment protection...I've never had any! I said that and the guy just kept talking so I said I wasn't interested and hung up.

Today I've had another call...they said my details must have been duplicated on the system?! I asked where they got my details from and he wouldn't tell me.

I asked the guy to remove me from their system...I have a feeling I'll still be getting calls from them though...I can't stand those pushy salepeople that won't shut up...I just hang up on them and would NEVER buy anything from them or get any service from them...as soon as you say you're not interested they show their true colours and become quite rude!

am getting 3-4 calls a day instead of answering just reject call no point answering no one there and after reading posts think e-mail probably best resaponse

AIC spam called looking for supposedly someone called Ashley Mullin, asking to call Mr Watson at AIC with reference 5085657

DEBT COLLECTORS even though no one owes ANY money in the family and don’t know anyone by that name?!!

we have seen other web forum uses reporting this as well.....i have bared them calling my number...PS when you call (mistake that we made) they will ask you for your personal details and would never tell you who they are!! Never give them any details...it is illegal for them even to bombards you with bullying calls..

Same as above, is a cold calling marketing scam. avoid. :D

Have been getting quite a few calls from this number on my mobile. Keep missing them which is lucky compared to some of the people who have answered them.

My advice - don't bother, it's probably some kind of scam.

DON'T SEND THEM THE E:MAIL

If you do they then have your e:mail address to meither you on...

Tell them on the Phone what the E:mail says or Add the number to your reject list on your mobile

just spoke to them today and have asked them to take my number of their listing _ hopfully this will work.

Have had 5 calls from these people in 2 days - 3 to my mobile number and 2 to home, despite informing them that my numbers are registered with the telephone preference service and asking them to remove my details from their records.  I am going to use the advice given by Getridofthem - Thank you

1) Send as much unwanted junk mail as you can to:

Bombard them with as much rubbish as you can!

2) If you've recently walked your dog, picked up the poo and don't know what to do with it? ............ I do!

3) Contact the Ministry of Justice - web site: www.claimsregulation.gov.uk and insist they punish this unscrupulous company.

4) Report back to let everyone know the results.
