this person is getting on my tits!!! Keeps calling daily! so annoying

I didn't recieve the call. I was in the library, but when I checked the number, I saw the area code was Manchester, so I was curious.

Got a missed call from this number, tried to ring back perment engaged tried for about two hours on and off

had a call few minutes ago said they will call back in the next days Glad I didnt replyF

Keep calling even though asked not to

This number rings me practically everyday, but they never leave a message on my answerphone, which they could do.

had roughly 3 calls off  this number today all missed as i was studying. unimpressed to say the least.

I also have had my mobile and e-mail address contacted by these people.

some good advise in here.

WHO IS IT

01614781080 missed call on mobile. I have recently had numerous calls to landline as well. Surely this is an offence under misuse of the telecommunications act with this amount of calls to anyone expecting the caller to return a call ? In other words they arent actually using the phone for its purpose of making a telephone call

I recieved 3 missed calls today, phoned it back as thought it was a family member who lives in Manchester (the 01614 area code) and someone answered straight away, and said hello is that ........., asked who he was and he said he could help me claim back the ppi on my recent loan, funny thing is I have never taken out a loan or morgatge or anything og that type with anyone! I asked them not to phone again & sent them a copy of that e-mail....hopefully they'll get the hint!

Just had a call 5 mins ago ,asking about PPI , I asked where they had my details from , but they could not answer satisfactorily , What is the point of a data protection act if these rascals can get details it appears willy nilly.

I have recieved a call from this number today but just rejected the call as wont answer numbers that I dont know, so thanks for the advice, wont be answering this number anytime soon

Same here I have a lest 3 calls a day from them who are they what do they want ?

this number called my mobile, some woman claimed she was calling from the  Claims Advisory Group, saying that i am owed money  on a recent loan with my bank that was incorrectly sold to me.
she wanted my details, when i was reluctant to pass any info on, she was very abrupt and very persistant. i ended up having to hang up.
do not answer to this number.

Had a call from this number this afternoon, claimed to be the Claims Advisory Group as stated above. When I persistently asked how they got my number, who they were and what they wanted, without me answering his questions, he got quite sharp almost to the point of being rude. Seemed surprised when I told him I didnt want to speak to him or any of his colleagues.

Have been persistently getting calls from this number over the past few days. The first female told me she was from the Claims Advisory Group and I immediately challenged her as it didn't sit right with me. She asked for personal details regarding any outstanding loans which I may have and I told her I was not going to provide her with any information. She hung up the phone on me while I was mid-sentence.

The number continued to ring me several times, including today,  and hanging up as soon as I said Hello. I could hear alot of background noise which did not seem like a working office environment. It is now bordering on harassment levels as they are constantly ringing and hanging up without speaking.

I intend on contacting my mobile phone provider and discussing having this caller blocked. I urge everyone NOT to supply any information to these people

I have just had a call from this number.  I have had about 20 now and I am getting fed up of it.

Would love to know how they have got my number, I am on T-mobile.  I wonder if it is something to do with them.  

Would be interesting to know what network other people are on who keep getting the same calls.

I had a call just before 8pm tonight from a lady claiming to be from claims advisory group and to start off she referred to me by my first name which put the red flags up she didn't once mention my second name and when I immediately said not interested she couldn't get off the phone quick enough!! I went onto the website and at the very bottom there is a number for mobiles to call (0161 478 1190) the number harassing people only has 2 numbers difference 0161 478 1080!! I emailed the company asking them to confirm whether this number is anything to do with there company and await a reply and after speaking to some friends alot of people have had calls from this number!! I'm on Orange network and don't give my number out so how the hell they got it I don't know!!
