Google number as they keep ringing my mobile when I am at work and found this website. Might answer it next time just to tell them to Chuff Off.

These guys are chancers! What I would like to know is how they obtained my name, address and phone details in the first place. (Tip: don't even answer the phone when you see this number!)

These people called and said they were from Claims Direct and I was entitled to a refund. I asked what the refund was for, and they said for Payment Protection cover, which I have never taken out. I explained this and they started asking whether I had paid back all my loans, etc, so I hung up. Maybe this type of call is for them to prepare lists for PPI companies to start selling to??

They called me while i was asleep from a night shift if i had answered im not sure what i would say but it would not be nice

living near manchester and having a meeting in manchester on friday i thought it might be them too :/

I have received a missed call from this number, I have no intentions of calling them back.

Called me in regards to a refund at first then went on about miss sold PPI's. I've never purchase any PPI's so i knew this was a scam.

Don't know where this company got my number from though.

Don't give them any details.

Take down the company name & number and report them to Ofcom (0300 123 3000), which is reponsible for tackling nuisance calls.

Just had them call me. Said 'Hello, is this John. You are due a pay out which I understand you don;t know about.....'. Please remove me from your records now!!!

I have just had a missed call from this number and when i rang back a voice message told me the call would in answered soon i gave up after 3 mins waiting time.  Then i found this site and realised iam not the only one who had a call from them.

got a call from this number. Guy from Manchester spoke.He said that I may be entited to a refund on a protection insurance. I told him that I heard of this scam and he would be asking for my bank details. He denied it strongly. I asked him which loan I had and he said he couldn't divulge this information because of the Data Protection act. I though t the DPA was there to protect me from these unsolicited calls in the first place. I said is there a source of this data and he said AspireMoney. They are based in Chesire   - that's not a million miles from Manchester. I told him I want no more calls from him and of course he dropped the sales patter and was rude.  BEWARE of this number

I too have had numerous calls from these so called idiots.. I intend to buy a dog whistle and answer and blow my whistle down the phone to them and hurt their ears.... I am not insane but they are sending me that way hahahahaha

This number rings me about once a week. I never answer and they never leave a message.  I did answer a scam call recently but I can't remember if it was this number or a withheld one.  It was a man asking about loan stuff, and said it was regarding a loan to finance a car.  I don't drive, and I told him this.  He got slightly flustered, and apologised then hung up.  Weird. Don't waste your time answering,
