- MICHAELThis number called me several times and when I answered it there was no reply.
Called it back and the person said it was called a company called C.A.G.
Checked this on the internet and it is a debt collection company.- Caller: C A G
- Call type: Debt collector
- Miss T StrudwickIve had several calls today from this number - no voice message
- Liz Beighton replies to WYi spoke to them the other day and they seemed to indicate I was due money back from a loan I have had in the past 10 years. They were quite rude and I asked them to remove my number from their list. I though today had a missed call from 01616567716 which seems to be almost identical. Clearly they are doing the rounds. I don't trust them!
- PabsStarted getting these calls at all times when I'm on work and at home - googled it and found this page. I added them as a contact on my phone and opted to send them directly to voicemail so my phone will never ring when they try.

- Caller: cold caller
- bb37 replies to dartwolfsubmitted a complaint to MOJ site this was the response I got:
Good Afternoon
Thank you for your e-mail.
In terms of 'cold calling', regulated businesses must comply with our
marketing and advertising rules which can be found on our website
www.claimsregulation.go.uk. In particular, the Client specific Rules
(rule 4), prohibits cold calling in person but does not prohibit
cold-calling by telephone. Cold calling by telephone is prohibited by
rule 8 where the client will be referred to a Solicitor. This is because
the Solicitor may then be in breach of their rules.
I suggest that you make a formal complaint to the business suggesting
how the issue could be resolved. You should do this in writing and sent
by recorded delivery. You should expect a response from the business in
line with the businesses complaints handling procedure. Businesses must
comply with the rules on complaints handling which state a business must
have in place and operate appropriate and effective internal complaints
handling procedure. Please also see the Complaints to the Regulator
about claims management services guidance note (Summarized below)
A business may decline to consider a complaint that is made more than
six months after the complainant became aware of the cause of the
complaint.
A business must send a written or electronic acknowledgement of a
complaint within five business days of receipt, giving the name or job
title of the individual handling the complaint for the business,
together with details of the business's internal complaints handling
procedures.
A business must, within four weeks of receiving a complaint, send the
complainant either:
a) a final response; or
b) a holding response, which explains why it is not yet in a position to
resolve the complaint and indicates when the business will make further
contact (which must be within eight weeks of receipt of the complaint).
A business must, by the end of eight weeks after its receipt of a
complaint, send the complainant either:
a) a final response; or
b) a response which:
i) explains that the business is still not in a position to make a final
response, gives reasons for the further delay and indicates when it
expects to be able to provide a final response; and
I ii) informs the complainant that he may refer the handling
of the complaint to the Claims Management Regulator if he is
dissatisfied with the delay.
If you are still dissatisfied after using the business's complaints
handling procedure then the complaint can be referred to the Regulator.
However, the Regulator will consider the complaint only:
if it has been raised with the authorised business, and
it was made within six months of the complainant being aware of the
cause of the complaint, and
the business has not responded to the complaint within 8 weeks or the
client is dissatisfied with the business's response to the complaint.
I have made a record of your complaint. - yvonne replies to RicJust tried call them - got voicemail to go to web page or email, cant see anything on web page to log a complaint!
- JANEGot a call just now from these people. They knew who I banked with which was disturbing? Said I had taken out a loan with them in the last 10 years. That was enough for me to hang up as have never had a loan! This is the 3rd time I have had these nuisance calls on my mobile. I asked him the name of the company 3 times and still didn't catch it- I asked what sort of company they were and he didn't reply just went into his splurge. I want to know where they got my details. phone number and name and who I bank with and tied them all together? Does my personal information get sold by the banks????
