Businesses have had enough of CVS behaving like Dick Turpin, modern day highway men!

Nothing much has changed from Turpin's day, riding around robbing the unsuspecting, (sounds familiar?) ok, no horses involved today, now we have telephone calls, emails and letters, the message is still the same, "stand and deliver!"

The RICS Rating Consultancy Code of Practice states in Clause 4.4:

4.4 It is misleading practice for the summary terms on the face of the document to be substantially affected or extended by other conditions and definitions, especially if these are in small print or if they appear separately on the back of, or elsewhere within, the document.

Clearly CVS never intended to actually trade by the RICS Rating Consultancy Code of Practice, they probably just thought the logo would look nice on their paperwork!

Businesses thought the RICS logo represented good trading practice, a bonafide company, fairness.  How wrong they were!  An affiliation to RICS should have meant something, therefore, as long as CVS are allowed to use the RICS logo, it means nothing.

Looks like RICS need another wake up call.

The RICS logo states "the mark of property professionalism worldwide"!  Really, certainly not in CVS's case.

CVS need to have a good hard look at themselves and realise a contract for 5 years is just that a contract for 5 years. What if the Government extends the list again and again?

Anyone heard of the utilty bills helpline? The name suggested something official offering help with scams etc. in reality they are a scam. They charge a monthly amount for nothing really. They claim to do rates, elec, gas, phones and even get money back you paid on your card by telling you how to make a charge back. This seems a new game of getting you to pay a small monthly amount for basically stuff you can do yourself for free.....anyone out there signed up?

i have been scammed by this company too. They go round saying they help people who arescanmed and then sign you up for months payment for nothing. They got me money back I paid on a card but then the bank saw it was someone else doing it and then the company took me to court...a right mess. Dont believe them

I too have been promised money by this company .
They said they could help with my utility bills but I've seen nothing.

No they are the utility bills helpline....but sounds like a similar scam. Their name makes you thk that they are official. I think they run from a house?

They have been trying to sign me up for a while now but if you ask yo be taken off their database the law stats they must remove you and that should stop the nuisance calls

so looking into this further it appears utility bill helpline has links to other companies cos how do they ring knowing you have been with another company to promise to get your money back. Scam after scam and they do run from a house in romford

also they put up testomonials but they write them themselves probably all made up.

Yes they definitely run from a house and it is a complete waste of time to use them

Utility Bills Helplne are an absolute disgrace
They keep promising to get my PPI claim settled but have come up with nothing.
They constantly call me asking to reduce all my bills.
How is this possible ?
Does anyone know how to do it themselves ?
