    Reality check

dear wiso. You have to understand that this is not a helpline! This is an american based site that is unregulated and exploits the ability for anyone to say anything about anyone. No one checks if any entry is true and you can use any user name and many different ones. The posts go up instantaneously and I have used others names to chat with myself at times! So other companies, ex employess and the likes of the infamous justiceforvictims can browse, comment and then tout for business or try to ruin businessness. Now I am not sayIng that there should not be sites to complain and warn others about but firstly they should as uk based sites do require some sort of proof that you were a client and the opportunity for the companies to challenege and have the posts removed if they are not true. Many companies are approached to pay thousands of dollars to have the pages removed so it goes to follow that someone has a financial agenda and maybe it is those that post most often. Anyway I think the utility bill helpline is exactly one of these and from what I have read so is justicesforvictims. All those saying they are RICs chartered surveyors and supporting him ....you have to wonder what they are doing going on this site afterall they benifit the most and why would they support someone who is not chartered or RiCS ... That just about sums it up.....so get it into perspective these sites are for a one off entry of a telesales call and anyone one esle who sits and keeps making entries must have either very sad lives are they have an hidden agenda. I am the sad type...hahahah

Unhappy CVS Customer replies to Reality check

Telephone number 01616090630 is CVS Business Rate Surveyors, and they are who this forum is about, no other company, clearly and simply because that is their number.  If you want to comment or complain about another telephone number or company, do so, but not here.

So, if there is any reality check needed, that's it!

Most of the aggrieved on this forum, are those who have signed a five year contract with CVS for the rating period 2010, and why are we complaining, because their greediness is attempting to extend an additional two years, yes, that's right, an additional two years.

In exposing the excessively greedy ways of CVS, (bearing in mind, it is generally accepted throughout the rating profession, that claiming 50% on any saving, is exactly that, greedy,) many companies are coming forward to tell their own story of how they have personally been conned by CVS.  It is pretty obvious that CVS would want to hide the real truth.  After all, if any of us had known the truth about CVS, we wouldn't have signed a contract.

Follow the two links below to The Telegraph, where the truth is being uncovered:

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysect ... -treatment.html

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/yourbusine ... mall-firms.html

With thanks to America for its freedom of speech, we are able to post here, and the real truth about CVS is getting out.

how can you have been conned when they got you a reduction.....you may be unhappy with the commission but it was ok when you signed up....its common practice to see buyers remorse when the refund comes in and the customer is the greedy one wishing they had to pay less....anyway I agree they chanced their arm claiming the extra couple of years for some but that has been easily sorted..... Are you even a client??

Your post is slightly flippant would you not say.You state that they chanced their arm by trying to charge for the extra two years and this has now been sorted out.Firstly I would not use the words that they chanced their arm.I would use the words deception.Secondly this has not been sorted out.If they had not tried to charge for the extra two years, these posts would have never arisen. Its just pure .greed, most companies downfall.

    Deception replies to Justiceforvictims
pot calling kettle black with deception Mr justicefor victims! Anyway it was the government thru their greed that extended the list to 2017 and they again who change it that you can't get backdated now....companies at the start of the block on no win no fee were not to know this and hence with no opportunity of maintaining the no win no fee for the next couple of years unless at great expense did indeed chance their arm. Its like the smoking ban.....the government introduced it and gave way to extra appeals that companies could claim commission on.....do you remember the campaigning to overturn this?

    Predictable
so we waited for it and now the ineviatable "good review" for everyone to pounce on to say you are posting from the company......one good review does not a swallow make and if they helped you why are you on this site? Perhaps your misspelling of the company is deliberate eh!

I would like to know how much UBH have saved small businesses over their short life as that is the proof of whether it is a company that saves money or simply a scam.
Does anyone know how much they claim to have saved for businesses?
I can't find this information on their website
    Anyone know ?

So it seems by reading all of these posts its a case of fee paying companies are no good; no win no fee companies are no good; you don't have to be a surveyor; you don't have to be RIC's registered; you should only go with no win no fee; you should only go with chartered surveyors and or RIC's; you should only use this site for the company whose number it is; use this site for anyone and everything; Justice for Victims appears everywhere and as others; qualified surveyors appear to follow these pages which in itself is odd and I can see on occasion actually give wrong information; you make one random entry and within minutes there are comments so people must just sit waiting for the posts to have something to do. I have no idea why anyone takes these sites as seriously as they do.

And why do people no longer take these Rating Surveyors seriously? Especially those companies connected with Oldfields and Strattons who were closed down in the public interest.

is this just a ranting board for Steven Simons and Sandra Spearing? It seems they're the only guys posting. Come on guys, move on.

As someone said earlier - a company saves you money and you're unhappy? meh. And yes, Utility Bills are a super company, I got a great deal on a new Samsung mobile.

I agree with you its all gone pete tong...but really you don't need to pay someone a monthly amount to get a good deal on a phone...they are all out there chomping at the bit to offer good deals..... the UBH are really exploiting people and laughing while they do it
