Unknown caller, asking details about business (business rates etc)

ASKED FOR ME BY NAME THEN HUNG UP

They frequently call me and hang up.
I called them back and a female answered TBS or CBS.
I could hear a male speaking in the background.

Very arogent & pushy, trying to push their/his (Ravon Boyce)services & does not understand no or not inerested!
SO JUST HANG UP ON THIS PERSON!

got a call from this number,he said the company name - CBS?
so pushy to speak to the MD or FO reagrding the business rates.
keep saying he wants to speak to my boss...
asked him to email, he said he would love to but still want to speak to the boss ONLY.
no chance he can get hold of my boss.
and then he hang up. who wants to do business with them?!

Who are supposed to save you money on your Business Rates.

Really rude and unprofessional, couldn't accept that calls can't be passed beyond switchboard unless they (supplier) are already known to the company.

The guy didn't like it when I said we had a warning about not passing calls up from companies saying how we could save money on business rates. What a tool

Rude and arrogant pushy sales people..want to speak to the directors but wont tell you why.  He hung up on me.  I have resorted to hanging up from now on.

CVS business rates surveying company.  After rejecting their services with thier field salesperson I received a call from this number claiming to be the managing director - who was arrogant rude and had a very good try at being intimidating.

Not a company i would do business with!

The most obnoxious company ever - refused to accept that we didn't take cold calls, so i put them through to  adirector who confirmed we didn't take cold calls at which point Tony Hawley(?) who needs shooting phoned me back to shout abuse at me!

Andrew Regan - CVS:  Arrogant and uninformed cold caller who becomes aggressive when challenged and caught-out.  Seriously lacking in any form of professionalism.  Clearly a desperate man judging from his repeat calls

Ask them about their connection to Oldfields and Strattons! Two previous business rate scams which where closed down after they ripped off thousands of people out of millions of pounds across the UK. Ask them if Tony or Anthony Dardis (who was convicted for these crimes at Oldfields/Strattons) still works for them? That should get them off the phone sharpish!

how long is their contract? I signed with them and they keep billing me, how can i come out of this contract? lot of small print ,don't understand,

Recieved call from this CVS company on 0161 609 0641 (to close a number to 0161 609 0630 to be a coincidence). The caller spoke to the Managing Director asking for another director of the business to reduce business rates. The cold caller did not identify himself only the company, when the MD asked the caller to discuss the call with him as the businsess owner they got abusive and hung up. Completely unproffesional DO NOT deal with them, and judging by the other comments on this forum do not speak to them.

I have to say my business signed CVS to look at our rates and they have saved us £22,000. Did what they said and charged us out of the savings, recommended.

This company are charlatans. Aggressive marketing, extremely high fees, regardless of whether they save you money or not, horribly binding contracts and unable to deal with the work they have.  Avoid like the plague.
