English speaking male called my mobile and asked for me by name. The background noise was very loud from what seemed like a call centre so I couldn't hear which company he said he was from. Basically he mentioned a previous car I owned which was involved in a minor prang more than 12 months ago and the insurance claim. I asked which company he was from again and also how he got my number as I'm always careful about who has my details. He was very defensive in his tone of voice when I explained that I didn't want marketing calls etc. He claimed he wasn't marketing and was trying to help me. I was straight to the point which resulted in him saying he didn't understand why I was being rude (I felt I was only making justified enquiries on how my personal details were accessed and showing caution) - he then put the phone down on me. Very rude of him I thought. Not a good advert if it was a legitimate company - if I was his boss I'd want to know! Still leaves the mystery about how he accessed my details.

Miss call received, no message left. I rang back but no one picked up.

Do not contact them yourself register at http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/index.html it will take about 28days if you can; block their number on your mobile/landline. keep their numbers and report them to Information Commissioners office after the 28 days are up thet will take up the case if you are still getting calls

Strange this one, they just called me and said they were Knightdbridge Financial?? seem even the scammers are forgeting all the different names they use to get your money

ive had various calls claiming to be from samuel brooks or pinkerton solicitor or watermans solicitor or knightbridge finance all from the same number 01618330545, i even recieved a letter from them to put in a claim, to send back personal info to samuel brooks The Mezzanine, Cloister House, Riverside, New Bailey street, Manchester M3 5AG, i google this address and its coming up Knightbridge finance under the directors name of MOHAMMED YUSUF BUKSH.
When i phoned this number the woman said she had never heard of nightbridge or any other names i mentioned only samuel brooks, id like to know what on earth there up to as im now getting very angry with all these different people phoning from the same number claiming to be from different companies argggghhhhhhhhhhhhh
