- JKTheir sales people are really aggressive and lack any tact. They have been calling me for months. I like the idea of the product and have been considering it as an option. However, today I decided to ask the sales person about the company. I started by asking where he was operating from. Manchester. I then asked him the address of the company and he did not know. He had to look it up on the web site. Even then he did not have a full address. I do not live in the UK so I would have no legal recourse if these people ripped me off. I got a really bad feeling from this company and in the end and did not trust them with my business.

- JaniceI got a call from dotcom Chrome and the young bloke was very persistent. When I said I would think about what we had discussed he rang me everyday for a week. When I asked him about the company he said they had offices all around the world. I was very reassured by this and looked up their website. But then I also found this website and have since changed my mind, as it seems a lot of what he said to me he has said to a lot of other people and it is not true. So I rang their sydney office and they said they just receive and pass on their mail and phone messages and that they are not at all staffed by dotcom staff, and do not represent or endorse anything they do. They said they had received a number of complaints from people and were looking into the situation.

- heard it all beforeDo a search on google for sphere marketing. Dotcom chrome are offering the exact same service as sphere marketing who started debiting customer debit/credit cards without their consent sometimes for thousands. And then closed down leaving many to claim from their credit card company.

The service that they want you to think you are getting would cost mega bucks and you certainly cant obtain in for £100 per month.
Maybe they are not breaking the law as your ad may appear once every day for a month, bear in mind you could set this up youself via google for much much less. And you are leaving yourself open to court action if you don't continue to pay.
The reason they record the conversation is for their benifit not yours.
Do the simple thing and save youself a load of grief and money, as soon as they call you, say no thanks. And for those who have fallen prey to them already send the cancelation letter by recorded delivery and then cancel your credit card.
If you want to try their service ask then to take a cheque or set up a standing order, any legit firm would have no problem with this. Dotcom C will give u some crap about getting u listed with 30 minutes, tell them u can wait for the cheque to clear, before starting the service.- Caller: dotcom chrome

I have now restarted my own google adwords campaign and with 415 keywords related to my industry i have only spent £52 in 9 days with 64 clicks and 17242 page impressions the phones are going wild .

It does seem that there is a bit of a corporate war going on to sway normal law abiding consumers. New Media Marketing, MatchMakers & Dotcom Chrome all have 'beef' and they will not stop until one of them gets taken out. It is not the way to do business, you all have a good business model from what your websites speak, you all have the experience, skills and knowledge to just 'get on with it'. I am sure you all have families and loved ones relying on you to 'put food on the table' so why do this? It is best to take a step back and see what you all are doing to each other, and importantly to your customers, perhaps the industry as a whole. My advice, focus on your customers, ignore each other, well leave each other alone and just develop your businesses and ensure your staff follow suit. Nobody will benefit from any of this. If you ask who I am, I am a consumer who can see clearly. Please, consider putting a stop to all this, both sides. The world, even your local location is big enough for you all!

- Business Mediatorjamies muppet - Firstly, I will state this clearly for you and in no way is this being negative, but, please don’t assume every single post on here as Jamies. There are others who have no relation to either company and would just prefer to have this issue resolved. The fact that both parties are now threatening each other is beyond ridiculous. Why?
If you feel I am only posting on Dotcom Chromes posts, I apologise, having noticed that you all live in these posts it made sense to post in one place rather than duplicate, regardless, the issue and points are still the same. It’s clear that 95% of posts here are by both parties and not by genuine customers. Please don’t let this get to a stage where it will be too late.
I am an Independent Business Adjudicator and Mediator and I constantly browse complaint forums as part of a Trading Standards Manifesto, so, I advise all parties here to please stop ridiculing each other and concentrate on you businesses. I promise you all that if you did just that, your customers, the genuine customers who feel hard done by, would actually be very happy with your services. Both of you have an excellent product, informative and contemporary websites, so, you have too much to lose.

If you monitor industry standards why don't you get in touch with some of the companies on this site who have listed their real names and company names? Once you do this you will see that we are not competitors slagging dotcon chrome but real people with real complaints that need to be heard. Why is this post done anonymously? Who has made this post? Who are we going to be corresponding with? Why do we have to contact you? You know who we are, why don't you pick up the phone and resolve this yourself (as posted previously, we have asked this before with no response). We have all made numerous efforts to do so ourselves, now it is your turn...... It's never a problem to pick up the phone and abuse us so why should it be any different when it comes to resolving this. You also have our email addresses so why not email us?

John - Keith MillerDotcom Chrome are thieves. They phoned my 17 year old son out of the blue. Promised a service for about $50 per month. When they phoned back it had gone up to $260 "one off to get things going then back to the $50 per month". We cancelled within a couple of hours. They have done no work but refuse to refund the $260 and have taken a further two x $260 without authority. That is theft in anybody's book. I have lodged a dispute with my credit card company and have filed a complaint with Trafford Trading Standards. All the rest is as other complaints above. I seriously doubt there are any genuine happy customers for this mob.

- AndyI just wanna say this is so ridiculous, i signed up with these last month, i saw these blogs and i wanted to cancel! But i have genuinely recieved a lot of enquiries from when i signed up. im not gonna let these blogs stop me getting business. If i have a snag with my account i will contact them direct, not piss about on here moaning, i am happy im getting calls and thats all that matters! I maybe wouldnt recommend the company as the technical side seems very amateur but i was told the script when i agreed by a very straight forward and honest sales man, i asked how i cancel and he told me straight up, just send a letter, i cant argue with that and its working! thats all that matters to me! I am tempted to change to another marketing company but they all seem to be coming on here so i may as well carry on with chrome! All i suggest is chrome treat us right and we will stay!
