Trafford Council Public Protection / Trading Standard team are conducting an investigation into Dot Com Chrome.



The lady heading the investigation is Sally Edwards on 0161 912 1377.

The police are actively investigating the activities of dot com chrome and the director Jamie McDougall.  Anyone with any information about any threatening or abusive telephone calls or emails received from this company should contact PC 6755 Pat Murphy or PC 6274 Andy Jordan, both of the Sale Neighbourhood Policing Team, telephone number 0161 856 7865.

You can also report any such incidents as a crime to your local police force who will pass the details on to Greater Manchester Police, or directly to Greater Manchester Police on 0161 872 5050.

the problem you have is quite a simple one. All the confirmation calls are recorded so........ if the police/trading standards call to make an enquiry......... the records will be dug up. The recording will show your voice agreeing to the company terms of service eg:

to cancel your marketing you need to send a letter. please get a pen and write down the address......

your voice will then say okay and you will proceed to write down the address

could it be much more simple? really?

i was contacted by dot com im based in australia but im over here for xmas to see family , im a gardener and work is cut throat i had 5 key words for $254 and it was the best service i have spent money on because they focussed on what was important me i have read all the negavtive cooments and to be honest i had reservations but i dont know a company that does exactly what it says on the tin 5 key phrases and if it does not work they did send me a report and i cut 2 phrases off it works so to all the negavtive folk in england *

Admit it. Dotcom Chrome is a simple scam. You are charging customers for a 'fixed price campaign' (which even Google Adwords admits doesn't exist) and selling them a simple, bottom dollar, cpc campaign they could start up for less that 50p a day.

The SALESMAN says the ads will appear 24/7. Yes, the recorded contract IS different, you rely on us customers ASSUMING we are agreeing to the same thing you sold us.

Other differences, the keywords we are promised are NOT the key words you end up giving us.

The campaign is extremely local, not national like the salesman tells us it will be.
