Have received a few calls from this number. The first two times the answer machine picked up the calls. The message said that they were from Rossendales collect, as i am not in please call the number. Twice after i managed to take the call, but it was a pre recorded message saying the same as above. Who do i complain to about this as its beginning to annoy me.

guys these people have been on my case, informing me that they have been asked to collect an outstanding bill for national insurance. do you think hmrc would hand a debt over to these people? having read some of your comments i'm now seriously doubtful

Defo a scam if you owe the state tax they will either take it directly from your wages or take you to court. With missing national insurance it would the department of works and pensions not HMRC. In both cases you would receive letters from the relevant department first.

Had mutiple call from this number some silent and some with speech. I would estimate on average i have 4 a day. This was for an outstanding bill with BT that i actually don't owe!!
I have been assured on multiple occassions by BT that they have contacted Rossendales and informed them that i do not owe them any money yet i still receive my daily allowance of 4 calls!!!!

Keep getting silent calls or answerphone message from these people.

Just had a call from these fishing for information - stating they were Rossendales on behalf of HMRC .

ASked for my name and i puta flea in their ear - HMRC have their own people they dont farm details out.

Well I took your advice and hey presto calls stopped threatened them with police and reporting them to of com victory for the small man

They call work number asking for me by name left a message to return call with name and number but no company just a confidetial matter. i return the call speak to the lady that her name.
she asked me for personal details which i refused to give over the phone.
so we go through that is this not emma that just phoned me she says yes! so how can i help ?
i need your personal details to process this call .... on that note she got told not to waste my time and delete my number off the data base

Its amazing they even have the cheek to post on here with peoples personal details.
ie case numbers etc !

..... Just had a silent call from these people....not the first time...... originally they were looking for someone at the right number.... just prefix was wrong way round!! numb nuts!! they've started again more hassle!!!!!

I just ignore any calls from numbers I do not recognise and if they persist I add them to auto-reject! Problem solved :)

the Data Protection Act is there to protect an individuals personal details,However it is not for witholding the name of the company that calls the individual in the first place.Stop using it as an excuse to intimidate joe public.INTIMIDATION IS AN OFFENCE!

This company have called a few times and which is even more annoying they called at 5:30am but was a voice recording, have passed details to police and they are looking in to them

Caller rang late evening
