These people are horrid I threatened to call the police they still wouldn't go my children were crying but they would not leave I called the police and when they came they threatened to arrest me if I didn't calm down and pay these people . I had to take money from my children's savings boxes and my rent money just to make them go . All they did was smirk at me whilst my children were crying and I was left totally upset by the whole experience disgusting .No one helped me not even the police were on my side . what sort of society do we live in .

reporting Rossendales Collect to the OFT

These people are a bloody nuisance leaving messages on my Ansaphone around 08:30 am on a Saturday morning.  When I returned their call they kept me waiting - I WAS PAYING FOR THE CALL - and then they asked for a reference number.  I don't have one because I'm not in debt and have no connection with these clowns. They wanted to speak to a person who does not reside at my address, they gave me a name, a person who has never lived at my address, who I've never heard of.  I told them to delete my number from their data base.  I sounded like I was speaking to someone in an Indian Call Centre.

Don't waste your time and money phoning them back like I did.  Just ignore them.

This number called on two consecutive days at 08:30, with nobody talking on the other end. Quite disturbing, but thankfully a Google search showed this number to be a problem.

Had a message on my answer phone this morning, couldnt make out the name they left, only the number so I rang back only for them to start asking me for 'case number' ect...I asked who they were and the nature of their business but they would only give me the name Rossendale Collect. They asked for my postcode but I refused to give it until they told me the reason they had contacted me, this they wouldnt do saying they have a 'number of clients' and it could be any one of them....I have no idea how they got my ex directory number. I googled them and find they are a debt collector...I have NO unpaid debts and have lived in this house for 29 years.

Called my phone (used to me ex's) wouldn't identify themselves! If the police phone you they tell you who they are - rude - hope they phone again.

Peed off with these clowns. Someone has given my phone number to a debt collector, I don't have any debt and keep telling them. The name they ask for is not known here, but they keep calling and I'm fed up with it.

I am TPS registered, ex directory and need the phone for urgent calls from my Doctor and the hospital. I do not need annoying every day with crap like this.

called me today on my new work mobile number, obviously the number has therefore been recyled by the operator, in this case O2, told them not the named debtor, six more calls from them today, phoned them and warned them to cease and desist, as I will be reporting them to OFT, he said cannot be held responsible for recycled numbers and will keep phoning, I said in that case i will be reporting them as I have informed them the named debtor no longer has this number, so they have no business calling me.

Keep getting automated calls from 01706 833772 saving they've tried to contact me, never heard of them until the calls started a couple of weeks ago,they're very annoying and i'd wish that they'd stop!

I had a call from this number, they wouldn't tell me who they were all they said was hi my name is james, it is regarding a private matter, so i refused to tell them who i was

I had a missed call so googled the number - thank goodness I found this site. I get free calls so I used 141 and have called them repeatedly with my phone on mute. Sometimes they answer as Debt Legal, other times as Capital Source Finance. What is Rather worrying is they are calling my work number so nt sure how

rang at 8.55 on Saturday 26 October asking to speak to my husband, i explained he was at work, asked who was calling, he said this was a confidential matter. I googled the number and was advised to report it as they are involved in fraud etc......

I've been getting calls for a few months now & oh I'm telling u now these guys are real sneaky & very threatning. I've answered by mistake a few times & they're not backward in coming forward. I've said oh u have the wrong number & they'll tell u that they know its u and your obstructing a legal company in carrying out their duties. pmsl AND !! lol they're a bunch of cowboys tracing u up over old debts & threatning u with prison. they're not the law courts they can't put u in prison. telling me theyre going to come & take my goods & I know they can't kick my door in but they're telling me that they will & if I have a window open that they'll climb through. !! just block their calls but remember that they do have quite a few numbers so be ready. don't give these guys any money

Had these jokers ring a couple of times now.Calls only began a couple of days ago, missed ths first few but answered this evening. Hung up as soon as I heard the silent pause (that usually comes with telesales or these kinds of calls) so no idea who it was until I googled the number. Unsure how they got my number or even why they are ringing, guessing it's a case of my number being sold on.....

Just ignore them mate. They call me and send letter stating they will come round or take 'action'. It isnt worth the paper it is written on.
I had debt years ago brought on by divorce. I have since paid it all off and now have an excellent credit rating, however, there was one outstanding debt which is now spent as it was over 14 years ago so they have no claim whatsoever :)
Also they cannot persue a debt after 6 years but as i understand it, when a debt is bought it is by law considered paid.
They use all sorts of scumbag and illegal tricks but dont let that worry you. They have been known to chase innocent people for money they did not owe!

Just got a call from this number, heard them on the line but they said nothing.  I hung up.

multiple calls, all times of day, no-one speaks on answer.

I received a call this morning on my answer phone asking me too call  01706833772 I did so but could nt get through so went on line and found out it was a debt collecting firm called ravendale collect  and found another number for them which was 0845644410 and spoke to them and they said I should nt have got a call as it was nt my address but how did they get my number as I am ex directory and have been for 14yrs I am so angry that this can happen

They rang & left a voicemail, I've never heard of these. & I don't owe any debts. Who are they??
