I had a call from these they were very polite and helped me set up a payment plan to pay a debt I was struggling 2 pay

Had a few phone calls from Rossendale asking for my wife, when I ask what it is regarding they just say it's a 'personal matter'. When she tries to talk to them they want her to validate her details, which she refuses to do as we don't know the company. Funny thing is, we have only had the house landline phone plugged in for a couple of weeks so how did they get our number?

Silen Calls

my husband keep's getting calls from 01706833772, they want him to confirm his details wiithout stating who they are, now why would you give your details to someone you dont know?? when i answer (his wife) they wont talk to me they ask for my husband and say i will call back, how can we stop these calls.
i believe its something to do with local council, but my husbands been in the army most his life and has only lived in a council property for 8 months when he left the army but he rejoined after 8 months so our council tax etc is via the army

I'm DEAF so i cannot answer the phone, the number came up on my mobile this morning at 11.30 am

why  the  silent calls

have had a number of these calls now verging on harrassment , have also had a number of silent calls

This company claiming to be a debt collection company repeatably calls my home phone and asks for someone who does not live at my address.  despite telling them on at least 8 seperate occasions that the person they are calling about is not at my address.  I have told them to stop phoning but they still phone every day.  if you get a call from 01706833772 just hang up the phone as they will try and get your details from you.

If you have set up a payment plan with this company . you should cancel it as  this company is not a bona fide company. any money that you give to them will not pay of any debts that you may have.
the money is going straight to the fraudsters,  contact the company that you owe money yourself and set up a real payment plan.   Or if you want contact your local citizen advice buerau who will be able to advise you on proper debt management

These buggers are fishing for information.  They make out they are a long lost friend asking for someone by their first name, and when they are told you are not there, they say oh tell them Alex, Jay, Fred..... phoned and leave their number.

Alas they are not as good as they think they are, as I managed to rumble them.

Call them back, but do not give them anything they don't already have about you.  Get them to divulge the information they have, then use it to get them off your back.

Bunch of amatures

I have a panasonic phone and it can block incoming numbers from certain numbers so I just add them to my block list. They can ring all they like but they can't get through anymore hee hee hee

Constant calls, almost every day, silent on other end.

Called me twice Thursday afternoon, no company just name and this is a personal matter, I told him to F off he was flabbergasted, so I said you heard and don't ring my mobile. Did not know who they were but well glad I did it after reading this site!

It appears to be in connection with a bank of scotland debt from over 4 years ago since sold to ARROW GLOBAL LTD AKA WESTCOT CREDIT SERVICES and is now in the hands of  ROSSENDALES COLLECT. they rang me 5 mins ago saying i asked for a loan to buy a car which i didnt they asked for my bank details but i never gave them and they also asked my post code which i did and they told me my full address they said they will send me a letter so i will wait for it

had a phone call today asking for me or my ex partner who i havent been with for nearly 2 years ! im not in any dept but how did they get my new pay as you go moblie no my son answered the phone because i was out and told them to phone back in an hour which they havent

I keep getting calls from this number 01706833772 several times a week sometimes on a daily basis. I am really fed up with it now and would like to know what I can do about it

I was called today at 17:11 Tuesday 1st November! They ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and RING! I told them they have the wrong person but they just keep calling!

These call me this morning asking for my details and when I said who are you they said Rossendales and that I owed monies and to check my post. I told them that I would give my details to them. Very rude.
