Just had call. silent for almost 15 seconds followed by a mesage saying rossendale collect will call back. Damn them to the seventh hell.

Got a phone message noon today, asking me to ring back. They did not ask for anyone by name.

Rossendales collect - I have no debt whatsoever - so basically a fraudulent number, which is one among 2 or 3 I receive everyday from PPI to Car Accident Payments etc... Frankly, can't the government ban them. It wastes a lot of our time when we our at work. And then they say our nation is not competitive enough. Our legislators need to put their acts together on this subject.

Have they 'phoned you saying you owe money to someone?  If so have you asked them to provide proof?  Have they ignored your request?  If the answer is "yes" then report them to the Financial Conduct Authority and to the Information Commissioner's Office and, when they 'phone again, tell them you have done this. Unless people report this kind of call nothing can be done.  All the legislation in the world will not help unless people make the effort to help themselves.

Have started to get calls from this company asking for a female name not obviously at this number, second time they called they somehow blocked my line with music telling me someone would answer my call shortly, could not disconnect them even pulled the plug for 5 minutes, re connected it they were still there, eventually called BT from my mobile to disconnect the call, just then they answered so polite and apologetic, said they would remove the number, next day answer messages again. more tactics required

Keep calling me to pay my debt i have for council tax which i am paying already monthly... Its just harrasment..!

As far as I know, I don't owe any money, but if I did, I want more than a call out of the blue, to make me pay. Where is the details, you can't just ring someone up and say, you owe us money, we'd like it now. Otherwise I'd start ringing people up, asking for money.

Had a call from them today asking to speak to my partner with ref to a "debt" he supposedly has.....nasty vile people who like to put the fear of god into people...

Text today stating they `RL` need me to call them urgently on the number regarding their reference.

No reference given, yeah right like I am going to phone a bunch of sharks over something where they don't even have a reference number LOL!

Number now blocked on all my phones :)

One message on my answer machine asking for me to call them back on 01706 833772.....

Looking @ the info on the ousts this has been reported to be a fraudulent company, but the tactics of these people scare the living day lights out of you!!!!

Unfortunately, it is not a fraudulent n umber.  It is the number of Rossendales Collect, a debt collection agency.  Most of their work is collecting overdue Council Tax, but they also try to collect other debts.  They will continue to 'phone if you do not contact them.  Sad but true.

have no outstanding debt and also ex directory don't phone back numbers or companies I do not recognise

called me at 09.24am 5/6/2015... Silent call for about 30 seconds then an automated message came up saying who they where and that they've been trying to contact me, and could I call them back... On another number!

They have sent me a txt saying call this number and select option 1 I did so and it said to pay a dvla or a student loan pay now pressing option 1 again what is this all about so I just hung up and haven't called them bk who r they?!

I'm in no debt never have never will I have my own company so why r they contacting me

I keep getting automated calls from this company on both my land line and my mobile phone  am sick of it and do not owe any money they are a dam nuisance

they have been leaving message on my answer phone saying they are trying to contact me .lasted try was Tuesday 16/6/2015 .this every few days they are trying it is becoming a pain in the backside'.

the rossendales company called me on my landline number which I didn't give to anybody. I don't owe anybody any debt so I don't understand why I was being called. they are frauds I would say. the number they called from was 01706833772.

09.16am have received call from this number but with not recognising the number didnt answer and who ever it was didnt leave a message, after reading some of the statements on here i am not likely to give them a call back
