I had a call a couple of times from these guys, first time they had my number for the previous owner from my house and also wrote to me. I explained their mistake and the calls stopped straight away, they even apologised. They rang me 6 months ago asking for me. I went through their security checks and it turned out I did have an old debt outstanding that I had forgotten about. I couldn't pay at once, so they let me pay by installments, even offered a discount. Seems if you are willing to co-operate with them they can be helpful - they were with me!

Received a phone call from this company at 8.55 this morning but I wasn't in.  Left no message.  I will be prepared if they ring back.

Repeatedly getting calls from this number wanting to speak to my son who doesn't live with us, and hasn't for nearly 5 years.
Won't say what it's about just its Lisa or Sue or Tom etc and its a Private Matter.  If they can't indicate the nature of their call I am certainly not giving them any information on my son's whereabouts.

Been receiving a few silent calls a day, usually they click off about 5 seconds after I pick up the phone! Beyond irritating now.

had a call asking me to confirm personal details, i said not until i know who you are and what you want they terminated the call

If you are getting calls from Rossendales Collect please file your complaint with the following companies.
If nobody complains, nothing will be done.!!
All i can see on this web site is comments like "Silent calls" but no attempt for a solution since 2009.

Come on guys lets all pick up the phone & file our complaints....."TODAY"

rude and abusive calls

Had a phone call from these people, bit funny as we have had no confirmation letters they  also would not give details who and what they wanted.
I will not give details of any of us unless they give me full details.
I have now blocked there number.

two calls in two days asking for my daughter, they wont give you any details due to data protection, my daughter hasnt lived at home for over 25 years now, what do they want?

This company has phoned me on several occassions making up I had a debt from orange mobile phone company I've set up a direct debit to them for £25 a week to pay off this debt. I had no idea as to who they were/are and now its come to light they're an aggressive debt collector I shall be seeking advice from the police asap

keep calling rang this morning at half 8 who is this number?

i received a call from rossendales at 9am. i missed the call, but they left no message. given what i have read on here so far its likely they will call again.
this call directly follows the receipt of a threatening letter from them (letter received 8 days after the date in the letter they claim legal proceedings will be undertaken if i dont respond within 7 days) in which they state i did not respond to their last letter.
i did respond to their last letter, not only with a phone call explaining in great detail why the claim i was in debt was illegitimate, but also with a letter that included photocopies of letters containing PROOF that the claim i was in debt was illegitimate from the very people rossendales claimed to be collecting on behalf of.
now, i receive a call from them... they have NO business calling me, NO business sending me letters.
and i can assure you, if they think they have business coming to my door i will gladly treat them as armed burglars and defend myself and my property accordingly.

keep calling, asking for my address (before saying who they are) when I question them back they hang up.... total muppets
