- PaulJust had a call asking to speak to the owner of the business. asked what the call was regarding and she said it's something that needs to be dealt with by the owner.
He doesn't take these kind of calls and she asked why? I replied because it's usually a complete waste of time and you're selling something. She then replied, no we aren't, it's important. I explained I was a director at the company and I am the one that actually handles our accounts. She still wouldn't talk to me. I politely told her that if it's that important, she would know my colleagues name and if it REALLY is that important, send us a letter and we shall reply. I then hung up.
Within 10 minutes, she called back AGAIN - luckily can see her number coming up on the phones and have instructed everyone to ignore her now. - Steve replies to Anika Debt Recoveries| 1 replyYou're just a bunch of c*nts really aren't you!

- toothfairy| 1 replyI've been getting these calls now what seems like forever and the initial loan was £300 and now last time I looked it was up to £5000, what gets me is when you do speak to someone and say ok I'll pay a token payment then they times it by 3 & say this is the minimum payment and you explain I can't afford it, then instead of getting something they get nothing then sell the debt to another company and start again and now I've just got to the stage when I do answer the phone just tell them sorry but you can't have something I've not got and now the interest has just made it impossible to pay anything, then they say they'll make you bankrupt which personally I've asked for and they won't do it till you owe 10k but then it means all the other loan companies you owe will be dead due to the bankruptcy.

- Lesley WinterCalling me regularly at all different times, I don't answer and they hang up when the answering machine kicks in. When I looked the number up on the Internet it appears that they are a company called Iqor. They have no reason to be ringing me, I have never owed a penny in my life. Absolute nuisance!!

- Debbie MasseyThis number, alleging to be Akinika called at 8.30 on a sat morning and insisted on speaking to the MD of a company that no longer exists. They also insisted they had sent a recorded letter to our address which they have not and would not talk to me unless I confirmed the first line of my address, which I did not.

- fleecicleWhat a horrid call. Called me on my private number asking about my daughter - the number has never been given out to anyone. When I tried to ask what the call was about the guy was really rude. I don't care if this is legit or not, there is no need for a stinking attitude like that. If someone calls out of the blue when you've not had a letter in advance or anything, why would they expect you to give them private information about yourself. It's not going to happen. Plus I had to ask him 4 times where he was calling from before he even said an unintelligible response that was supposed to help me. Ridiculous.
- Betty| 1 replyThis company just text me, I googled the name and found his site. What is his all about. why do they worry people it's not right !!!!

- AndreaThis company called me saying they had written to me asking me to confirm my address. Never heard of them and explained that due to scams with people ringing up I was unwilling to disclose any personal information. Was told that when I receive the letter that I would understand how important it is to contact them. If it is that important, they have contacted me so why not tell me the reason for calling without me having to disclose information??
For everyone reading this if you get such a call, NEVER disclose any personal details as it could be a scam.- Caller: Akinika
- Andrea replies to luke sandersIgnore them and ring your phone provider to report as a nuisance call to get them blocked
- Andrea replies to BettyDon't worry Betty, my husband had his own debt collection company collecting business debts for small companies who were owed money from larger companies who thought they could get away without paying the small business!!! So I know a lot about the law regarding this sort of problem. Ask them not to contact you again or you will report them to the telephone preference service and you want proof in writing what this is all about. Having said that, if they ask you to confirm your address, DON'T!!
This can be deemed as harassment. - Andrea replies to toothfairyIf your debt is over 6 years old, do nothing!!! Legally any debts over 6 years old are written off by the government. Do not respond to anything if this is the case as you will start the 6 year ball rolling again. Despite what they say, they can do nothing. If it is under 6 years old tell them to take you to county court where a judge will listen to you and make an order where you can afford a certain amount each month. Hope this helps
- Sarah L| 1 replyRang me at 9am this morning. I asked who they were and was told they don't give out that kind of information. So, I politely told them that (after finding out on here) that they were indeed the notorious IQOR, and I do not converse with scum and especially scum that I have had no dealings with or are ever likely to neither as surprisingly I owe no one money! If,they EVER phone my number again, then I will have great pleasure in taking them to court for harrassment with a capital H. Now, has your technical equipment got all that recorded, or do you wish me to repeat it?? Phone went down. Anyone who does owe money to this bunch of scum or any other scum, you can either offer to pay the total sum of £1 a week, or tell them to take you to court (which they don't like doing as it costs them money and they have minimum paperwork if any),or simply ignore them by not answering your phone unless it is someone you DO want to speak with. Above all else, stop the fear because that is what feeds them. Starve them out of existance! When they buy the debt off the original "creditor", they have infact paid the debt off. Get clued up on the scams of banking and debt as life is way too short to be spent hiding from scum and being fearful. *PEACE*
