told me that im owe money back wanted my bank details he told me that a banked with the bank of scotland  i dont bank with them

Was called today at 3 20 pm as soon as I said hello  they disconnected the call  but they won't be calling me again as I now have a scam calling blocking machine attached to my phone all I had to do was press a bottom to block this number forever  . 01924215367  yiiiippppppeeeeee xxxxx scammers beware

Same attempted scam as other people have mentioned.  Disappointing that this is still in operation, despite being reported to the 0300 Fraud number back in November.  I received another such call today & I asked if they would give me the address of their premises so that I could come round & collect my refund in person.  The Asian guy then gave me MY address as HIS office & said that his manager's name was MY name. Not sure whether he was getting his script mixed up or taking the p***.    I said I would like to visit in person so I could break his legs, which he didn't seem to understand.  I then spoke over my shoulder to an imaginary colleague & said "Have you got a GPS fix on this call?"...  The Asian understood that all right & hung up immediately.  These scumbags are thieves & are trying to steal money from innocent people.  I hope they burn in Hell, or better still in the place they are calling from.

got a call today stupidly told them date of birth but then refused to give them any more info they hung up no reply when I tried to phone back

Been phoning all week. I leave it to the answer machine if I don't recognise the number.

Got a call from this number a few mInutes ago. Phone put down as soon as I answered. Tried calling back but got BT message "number not known"

we have a cheque from TSB and want to confirm that I was the right person and confirm my address and bank card details.
They gave me 4 numbers off my card and asked me to read out the rest as proof.They also asked me for numbers of a separate card.They had strong accents I would guess Pakistani.I know the area code appears to be Wakefield.I would like to know the address.

Claimed to be sending a cheque for over payments to my bank! Would not say how much, which bank or give any of her information as where she was phoning from or her name, but knew a lot of  my details!

This number called us this afternoon. But had hung up when I picked up the phone.

it is  22Feb 2014 -10:30am  and they are still at large. I just had a call from an Asian lady called Katherine;  same story as described by other people here...from financial department,  they had a cheque for me, etc... When I started asking her questions she could not answer, she said I was "a complete insane person" and hang up....ROFL

This guy needs to be reported! Its horrendous how they knew all my information!!! Luckily I hung up before they got more information.

Claiming I had paid bank charges for a number of years and they would claim them all back for me.  SCAM!!!! I worked with Royal bank of Scotland for 31 years and never paid a charge in my life. Callers name was George Wilson allegedly?

A second call (first was a few days ago) from this number at 5.15 today. They hung up when they got the answerphone.

i'm getting calls from this number on a regular basis everytime i answer the phone there's nobody there. this is very annoying as i am in pain when i have to move to answer the phone. can this cause be stopped

Missed a call from this number when I was out at work today (called at 14:21 on 25th Feb).  Shame I missed it...  I really hope they call back so that I can play with them and then call them a few choice names of my own!!
