- Kofi-Alpha| 4 repliesHere's where it gets interesting. There's three types of people on this forum, the first being individuals tired of sales calls, the second being actual investors, the third being disgruntled employees of Gundlach!
Now for those who were annoyed by the pestering and badgering, the company has been put into liquidation so this will now stop.
For the unfortunate investors, you have lost your money no matter how you look at it. Even with the liquid assets of BFW you will be lucky to receive £0.05 of every £1 you've invested in this company.
For those disgruntled ex-employees, you knew what you were doing! and if you didn't you shouldn't have been doing it anyway.
There's no doubt that Gundlach will go to prison for this, but for the victims the nightmare of this situation will go on for a long time.
These industries need to be regulated more and larger sentences for people that are involved need to be made to deter future frauds! - anon replies to Kofi-Alpha| 3 repliesIt sounds very much like you were an ex employee , so did you know what you were doing? If so, what is it exactly that you were doing? And why is Gundlach going to prison? You sound extremely well informed, if you are so knowledgeable on this matter and so concious aware , why aren you not handing your information over to the authorities?
Instead you hide behind a blogging site pretending to be holier than thou! just a skint , unemployed looser sounds like to me! - Kofi-Alpha replies to anon| 2 repliesAnon I don't understand what your problem is? Yes I am an ex employee and yes I have given a statement to both the police and the other appropriate authorities. Did I know what I was doing? It was hard not to, so yes, but greed overcomes us all. I've had a very long conversation with Jim Budd even before the police approached me and also the other authorities.
Ken is going to prison because what he was doing was obvious, not only to him, his employees but also to the world. Why wouldn't he go to prison? Do you think what he was doing doesn't deserve prison time? or does he have so much money now that he's too big to fail?
FYI - I now work for one of the largest companies in the world and have been doing for the last 7 months. If you want to speak to me directly post your name or pm me and we'll talk, otherwise I think you should stop defending a criminal and grow up. - Richard replies to Kofi-Alpha| 1 replyKofi please ring me on 07930 157068
- Kofi-Alpha replies to Richardfor what reason Richard? I don't know who you are? where you are from? and what you want?
- Richard| 1 replyYou offered to talk to me or anyone else. At present I've lost £1.7m and I was wondering if you can enlighten me on any of this.
- Anon replies to RichardI suspect that mobile numbers given out on this site are pay as you go . They may have kens brown nose followers abusing or threatening anyone who calls them because that's how desperate ken has become and how low he would go to threaten anybody who dares to speak out .
- Peter| 1 replyYou guys who lost 1.7m and 2m must be thick if some one cold calls you and you spend that sort of money over the phone you must be mad
- Anon replies to PeterDoesn't mean they are thick . Investors start of investing 5-50k then they are shown false monthly statements showing how well there investments are doing then super salesman push for more investment ( loading ) if someone makes an investment and believes it is doing well why wouldn't they re-invest this is how people can lose this much not greed they just trusted the company they were dealing with .
- AlanI totally agree with everything said. I too hope ken and all his main men are brought to justice. As Kofi said, they all knew what they were doing was wrong. If Ken goes to prison, why not them also? If they dont all get prosecuted what is stopping these "wanabe Kens" from working for another crook!!
I hope they suffer some financial hardship at some point in their young lives. I hope they cant sleep at night because of the guilt for what they have done.
The one thing that puts a smile on my face, is the hope that the "Taxman" is hot on their heels...... You can run but you cant hide!! - MarkAnon you seem to know alot about ken? I can tell you now if he is guilty of fraud which he is he will be spending a lot of time in prison. If you look at a lot of recent cases like this all have gone to prison from 7 to 15 years. If he walks away from this I will be amazed lets just hope he's not stolen off any one connected I would be [***] myself and a recent banker in the paper who did ended up in a bad way maybe ken should get on his horse.
- Ken| 5 repliesThere's a lot that's been said about me on this forum and a lot that has been said about my former company, I'm going to say a few things and won't comment again.
The people who invested in BFW I am sorry to hear that you think that you've been victims of a scam, I assure you this isn't the case, the liquidators are in and they will prove that BFW was a legitimate business that had issues at management level which account for the over spend. The rest I will leave in the hands of the law and if I'm taken to trial over something that is falsely alleged so be it.
If you're a disgruntled ex employee of mine, why didn't you take up your issue with me directly when working for the company? and if the whole thing was a lucrative scam, why didn't you go to the police then instead of hiding behind this blog like cowards and complaining about the cars that I drive and the houses I live in?
For those that are putting up my home address, this is damn right out of order, I have 2 kids and a wife in the house and I'm sure if something were to happen to any of them the police and I, will be looking to this site and the people who have been posting, for answers. - David replies to KenFormer company ! I take it that you are not going to petition to the Hmrc and Insolvency Service petitions against your company and are accepting their petition ?
Employees In a position of responsibility are not unaccountable, I'm sure you will provide details to the authorities.
Reading other Forums I think your former employee has.
And for those people posting your home/family details, I am 100% behind you. - Michael| 1 replyMaybe you shouldn't have posted his address, but think about the lavish life Ken is living when hundreds of investors have invested their live savings into this scam without the ability to rebuild.
Most of the investors in these type of scams are old retired and living on small pensions, these are the people most at risk, not Ken nor his family. Ken Gundlach and the other graduates of Dunne have taken without ever considering the consequences and the impact on the people they are ripping off. They're desensitized to this
Let me paint you a picture of my father and tell me if he deserved what Ken and his motley group have done to him.
After the war my father got work with a local council gardening a recreation site, not a group of people just him, it took my father 3 years to save for a house deposit which he spent most of his career paying off, he has one child, me, my mother passed away from cancer in 1984 when I was only 9 and my father raised me single handily since then. My father has never taken a government handout and has worked to save the little he has, my father now lives alone in a 3 bedroom house and walks for exercise. I've never seen my father cry, even on my mothers funeral he stayed strong for all of us, but when news of this scam broke out, my father was devastated. He was in tears and completely heart broken that the little money he did have which he thought he was astutely investing for his grandchildren has now been taken away
Did my father deserve this??? All this because Ken and his scoundrels did not have the courage to make money in a decent way.
These people deserve to rot in jail. I only hope Ken gets the maximum sentence and realises what it feels like to have everything taken away from him.. - Anon replies to MichaelSorry to hear the impact this scam has had on your father unfortunately gundlach and his sidekicks left there morals at the door many years ago and have replaced them with expensive material items. This is a typical example of a victim of this scam and I hope many other story's are posted showing that the investors were not greedy with unlimited funds to fill gundlachs pockets but real people who had a right to invest for themselves or there family's future without being sold an investment that was vastly overcharged which gave them little chance of ever getting back there money let alone making a profit .
