I was highlighting the fact that if he reads the terms and conditions, it will become clear they offer no warranty and accept no liability including negligence.
7 million profit on 18 million turnover (40%) when they only take 10% COMMISION ON PROFIT
    Eg £5000.00 case of wine 20% profit (?) =£1000.00. Commision @ 10% = £100.00 (2% of turnover)   plus storage, come on.
If you fall for that you could join their Premier Client (Gullible)Club, they store it for free !!!!!!!

I wish he would understand that he has lost everything and really there is no other term for it apart from gullible, and stubborn maybe, he has just got it into his head they cannot rip people off, which we all know is not the case but as stated earlier we are hardly on speaking terms anymore because of this, when I went stated my concerns to him he said he would give them a call, which is when they stated his wine was "vintage", so if I wasn't sure before that this was a rip off, after hearing this statement I became quite certain, I have now come to the conclusion that there is nothing I can do about it apart from watch quietly from the side line, even if he would listen I'm not sure there would be anything we could do to get his money back anyway, the brokers name was ben, cant remember his last name,
thanks for all your comments, much appreciated.

Problem with your father is he is obviously not from London - London is full of money hungry, drugged up, lunatics that will do anything and i MEAN ANYTHING to get hold of a pound note. Does he not realise that there are people in the world who will take everything from you, they are only interested in themselves no one else.

That's pretty racist to be honest. His ethnic background shouldn't come into this conversation. I suggest this comment is removed. All you guys slating them for not using their real names then commenting under "anonymous" need to GROW A PAIR.

Bordeaux Fine Wines = Scam. Shut case.

Croydon, fake names, fake address, fake returns, ponzi scheme, no employees pay tax, umbrella account wine, 10% commission for closers, high pressurised sales tactics, circulated sales scripts, company director who drives a Lamborghini and lives in a 3 million pound mansion, "odd looking company accounts", and more flash cars than a strip down Monte Carlo in south of france.

DO I NEED TO SAY ANYMORE?

    Mr R Cohen
After reading all of these disturbing comments if i'm honest i'm rather shocked, i personally invest with Bordeaux Fine Wines and am very happy with my returns when i've wanted to sell some of my portfolio i have had no problems and have seen returns i am more than happy with. It seems that the comments left on here seem to be disturbed ex employees that have clearly been dismissed from the company because they were unable to meet their job requirements and so have taken it upon themselves to slander the company. I personally think to all of you, go and actually get a job rather than talking badly about a company you are no longer part of.

The gentleman talking of his fathers portfolio that he can find cheaper elsewhere, well maybe so, but can you personally sell your fathers investment on by yourself? no because you do not have the means to. Auto trader sell the same car all at different prices does that mean they are being dishonest? i have my own account at the London City Bond, i know its there cause i have been to see it, its my own account in my name and i own my fine wines, so all these write ups and lies are rather disturbing, personally it just sounds as though the ex employees of BFW are extremely upset they are no longer part of where they were.

And to comment on the brokers race him being a P**** is just highly distasteful! clutching at straws it seems!

Typical boiler room language there, trying to put your message across via an analogy! So typical......

Yes auto-trader do sell cars at different prices but at least they are left with an honest genuine product that any single person would happily buy at any place at anytime, not everyone can sell out of their wine and you and I both know you cant get your clients out of the market Ken aka. Mr R Cohen.

Regards to me being an ex employee that is not the case, one of your brokers aka telesales reps coned my father-in-law into an investment with you, your openers (people that ring and make the first contact via a cold call) was calling him consistently for 6 months at least 3 times a week pestering him. Now because he is elderly and has just got over a serious illness he gave in just to stop you people constantly calling him. And upon a pint of Guinness down my local chatting to a friend who happens to know a friend of a friend who knows all about this shady alternative not regulated investment world (carbon credits, wine, diamonds, rare earth metals, land) he has informed me of the nature of your business. How all the leads from the people you cold called go into one big pot and your closers pile through them trying to take people savings.

Well Mr R Cohen, I perfectly understand that my father should have shopped around first think that's a given, but can you please explain the reasoning of why his cost more? " yours is vintage"??? as he was told! if that is not taking the p*** out of an elderly gentleman and being pretty blatant about it well I am lost for words, as for you having yours stored in your own account.. lucky you, as that is what my father should have received but he HASN'T. as it stands at the moment he has no wine in his name what so ever, it is all stored in BFW's account. and your reasoning that you have made money and had no trouble selling? is that not how Ponzi schemes work? I suppose time will tell with my father but for the moment I am very dis heartened. Also just to add when they ring a person that has never even thought about investing in wine before and have absolutely no clue on how much a bottle of cava costs as they don't drink it either, and they spew out they're patter and pretend to be your friend yes some people I.E my father and I would guess many others would place they're trust in a person and think they are getting a good deal, however it does come down to my father to do his homework, but to be honest it takes him half a day to send an email, he doesn't use computers, he has never invested before, and he wouldn't know where to start,

As I stated earlier, time will tell.

All these blogs and messages and panic are completely unnecessary, these fabricated comments SLANDER are all from an ex employee that clearly has not yet got another job and was asked to leave due to her lazy performance at work and abusing verbally a member of management. Now knowing this can you all see why she has taken it upon herself to make the company look terrible?

So please people reading this do not believe all these negative comments they are untrue, its a blog! use your own judgement and facts not hearsay to make a informed decision, and for anyone worrying about this companies reputation,

they are extremely above board or they would have been shut down many years ago! its common sense if they were doing anything wrong they would not be trading! so stop believing this scorned woman who is slandering the company with all these made up blogs under different names! She is trying to damage a good reputation built over the years with hard work! and in one foul swoop of a blog trying to destroy the companies reputation, what she doesn't realise is that by her writing all these blogs she is committing a criminal offence of Slander! As this companies reputation is correct she will not succeed and the law will deal with her correctly.

For the people that have tried to exit the market do to shear panic please do not worry everything is done correctly at BFW.
