Well they had to spend all their money when they got it and I doubt many of them saved or maybe they did. I was just saying I doubt they are as well off as they were. Unless they have gone to a similar company

Surely police investigating will just go threw all there phone calls and messages to one and other to prove there guilt?

I was told by a friend of a friend that Mike left BFW and started up his own company, that while he was setting up his own he was still at BFW that's all. That may or may not be true
So was saying if he isn't careful he will end up like Ken if his business isnt legit either

Mike Solle also had M.J.S Consultancy (London) Ltd, voluntary dissolution applied 21 Jan 2014.
Same reg office as accountants for BFW & VBW
That LinkedIn account has recently been closed down, but gave details of his experience/involvement at BFW.
His VBW LinkedIn account is pretty vague about his past experience/Involvement, only that he was a Thompson Rep.
I have noticed there on a 'I would not recommend buying wine from these companies list' on Jim Budd's website.

Sorry just saw this. Journalism or whistle blowing? No.

What I wrote IS fact, nothing in that post was inaccurate or Chinese whispers.

I never said anything about every person doing the job being held responsible, the people that knew about it, and continued to do it, yes - why not?

I haven't attacked anyone, just stated some facts and my opinion which everyone on here has done. Including you.

I do have a job, but thank you for the good advice. I didn't realise this site was to attack each other sorry, I was just interested in the comments and wanted to add to it.

Talking about other peoples business.... Isn't that what you and I and everyone else on here has been doing?

Why does it bother you anyway, anyone would think you were one of those people being referred to!

Sorry for your loss, but racists are as bad as thieves in my opinion, so less of the 88 talk, because we all know what it means.

On another note, I do hope you catch up with him and his goons

My local police are going to pursue, via a special fraud initiative, as the victim (myself) is a resident in the area.  They are currently checking if my wine has been purchased and is stored in the city bond, if not there will be a full investigation as they believe that there is sufficient evidence to prove a 'Fraudulent Scheme' and achieve criminal convictions.

Gundlach and "John Wood" could land in a prison cell for a few years!!  Other "broker" (closer? thief?) I am having investigated is "Thomas Parker," who he????  I hope for his sake he is squeaky clean or he will be going down too.  Cannot hide behind aliases/false personas now!!!!

Only way for key players to avoid being locked up is to give refunds, as if there is no victim generally there is no crime, or at least they reduce the charges against them and would probably manage to avoid prison.  I would certainly drop the charges if I received a refund.  What I want is my life savings (which I believe have been stolen from me via a,admittedly, clever enterprise) returned and I will not let this go!!!!

Victims please watch this space.  Currently this investigation is in the early stages and has to be kept local till all the information can be gathered, to prove that it is more than a civil matter, then it will proceed.  (Unless of course I receive my refund and withdraw my complaint.)  Once the main elements of the crime have been established, hopefully, fraud victims in other areas can be helped too.  ( N.B. I have been advised not to let people touch the receipts/wine ownership documents I have in case they are needed for finger printing because so many aliases have been used.)   It will then go wider to obtain further corroboration to ascertain the degree of fraud and criminal intent in order to pursue full convictions and custodial sentences of those involved in the criminal activity.  Those employees who were unaware and did not benefit financially have nothing to fear.

Hate to say it but u misinformed if you are the same client from Scotland who posted on jim budds site asking for a refund you have no chance u will have to wait in line like the rest of clients ! As far as the English law is concerned the law has not been broken , yes imoral regards overselling product but pretty obvious a director ban is due for gundlach nothing else though . U may have a keen Scottish bobby backing up your claims but let it rest an see what happens .

Not misinformed, the law is different in Scotland and pursuing a criminal investigation through any available route could help other victims.  I will not let it rest and nor should other "investors" if the wine they have paid for is not held on their behalf.

Just pointing out that sometimes it's wise not to waste time and energy when its unlikely u will get anywhere . There may not be these types of investment schemes in Scotland but in london and surroundings they are widespread there are hundreds of these company's operating daily without the police getting involved . They work to certain fraud laws so the police can't touch them bfw simply got to big not to be noticed hence why the government had to act the best way they could close them down ! Hopefully the investers will get some money back if bfw have assets left .
