Source Marketing Direct(Hector Montalvo) used to be located in Shand Street, in London Bridge with Live Marketing Direct (Tom Harris) and EA Worldwide Acquisitions (Josh Cote, big owner) and Carolina Consulting (SaraBeth Cote). Admin Courtney Sagar was based there too and moved with them to Waterloo, like Stacey to Carolina Consulting. Sara Beth is Josh's wife, Courtney is Tom's girlfriend and Kristin, Hector's wife, is head admin... So as you see, they spend so much time between those four walls trying to brainwash people to start, they even end up marrying each other.  GET A LIFE.
And for those still thinking this positive way of thinking they promote is good, ithas started having problems in USA as a lot of people have lost their jobs and gone in debt thinking they can get anything by just putting hours into it, without considering other factors such as you are not making enough money to pay your rent, yo are working 70h a week which is not healthy and you lose friends and family, etc... there are better ways to get a good job and earn enough money to live ok and be happy...im not knocking on doors for a promise...

Hi, London marketing isn't a scam!! I used to work for them and its such a great place to work..... the only downer on the job is that it was commission based!! That's all! :)

Guys this is definetely a scam as soon as i applied for the job with a almost balnk cv i received an email asking for me to call them back. Then without even applying for another job i received an email from Courtney Sagar  saying the same thing. I therefore went for the interview and ended getting job without asking me any question about my history or previous experience/skills/what i wanna progress on to.etc.

I was then assigned to door to door sales based on commision. These companies are scams. Do not trust them!!!!

Hi guys, thank goodness for this type of site.  Luckily I had the power of the Google Seach Bars new Auto-fill function to save the day.  I was doing some last minute swatting before my interview tomorrow and as typing in "London Green Marketing..." the second drop down suggestion was "London Green Marketing Scam".  Obviously I clicked on it and the first result went to a facebook group (url: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=43203771818). I didn't really need to post the directions, i just like the bit about going to the basement.  When i read this the first time, the first swinging hammer of alarm bells began to move in my head.  The second the Google Search Bar read "London Green Marketing Scam" i knew i had been duped.  

This is an evil scam, I have half a mind to really mess these people up. Not only with the authorities, though i guess this is legal as they are getting away with it, but to call this lady up and really give her something to think about.

Anyways, venting over. I'm particular p!ssed off about this as I had to take time off work tomorrow to attend and to do that i had to work extra hours from 0700 - 1830, plus i've made my boss aware im looking to get out.

All in all, bad times.

well basically same as everyone else
i was applying for a summer job and this one sounded quite good 250-350 a week was good enough for me as i needed holiday money
so i applied and i got a call THE NEXT DAY from someone at the office i had an interview the next day too
and so i went and saw the office LIVE MARKETING as they call it

the room they call atmosphere was just loud banging music and people shouting that isnt wat work is about
people shouting high fiving and people just talking about work no social life
i got paid £80 in 2 weeks man thats nothing as i found out later on it was comission only
they brain wash u soo much that u can make it to mangement within 8 months - bullcrap
i was soo ill i couldnt even stand for 3 days they still made me come in and said oh tom harris was in when he had swine fluu coz he was sooooo determined
and the working hours are rubbish on my interview day i was there at 11am and i got home at 12.30 AM!!!!
and after that i was getting home at 11,30 PM everyday ridiculous they brainswash u soo much
dont go to them i advise u no matter what

A bit of advice for anybody who has been contacted by one of these companies for an interview. There are a few things you should check before you bother to leave your front door.

1. Do you know what the job is?
Scam companies like this work by being as vague as possible in regards to the job they are recruiting for. If a salary is not specified, or if there is no proper Job Desciption, you should be wondering why!
Companies like this stay as vague as possible because they want you to come to their office and attend the interview. Once in the interview they have a greater chance of suckering you in for the scam and brainwashing you. You'd be surprised at how many people attend the interview and still "give the job a try" because they have been so influenced by the interviewer to believe the job is worth starting.

Scam marketing companies love people like this because these individuals usually do a few days or even a few weeks work before they realise the scam nature of the job. By that time the company would have already got their labour out of you and are more than happy if you want to leave, theres always a truck load of graduates and unsuspecting job seekers ready to fill the role.

2. Have you researched the company?
If the website looks flash and professional but doesnt go in to great detail about what they do, who the directors/ founders are, etc then it is probably safe to assume its a bogus bullshiz company. Do furhter research and see what else comes up on forums like this etc.

Legitimate companies advertise job roles within certain regluations and procedures. If the advert for the job seemed vague, you recieve a call for an interview very shortly after you have applied, and there is no solid JOb description or salary information, than stay away!

I am soooooo happy I found this webpage!  This morning I applied for a 'Charity Fundraiser: Immediate Start Only! for Source Direct job via Reed.co.uk.  I sent my CV and wrote one or two sentences in the cover letter box.  I applied at 1:34pm and got a reply from a lady called Courtney Sagar just over 10 MINUTES later at 1:48pm!!  This was her e-mail..

Following this e-mail, I then of course called the number she provided and was taken to voicemail where I was then told by an automated message that the voicemail was full =S, so I e-mailed her saying I just tried calling and explained what happened and asked when was the best time to call..  No reply, so I decided to try calling again, this time I got through and she seemed very nice and wanted to know a bit about me so I told her I had just completed college and looking for work.  She said okay and told me they had got to the end of their recruitment process and have been holding interviews today and asked me if I would be available to attend an interview tomorrow at 3 or 4pm depending on what time suits me best.  So we decided upon a time and she told me she would send me all the relevant information I will need such as what to bring, information about the busines etc.  Hours passed I received NOTHING.  I e-mailed her asking if I would receive an e-mail..  NOTHING, I then tried ringing again but of course the office had closed.  To me it seems like a waste of time and after seeing all these reviews, I am sure I will not be attending the interview tomorrow!  Thank you to everyone who has shared their encounters, hopefully nobody will be fooled by them!

Same as everyone here...sent my CV today and within an hour received a phone calll and an email from Shona Hughes-Newton...have an interview tomorrow.
