Exactly what I did! Thanks all on this site, I nearly fell into London Green Marketing scam!

SO glad I came across this, I applied from Gumtree and was really surprised to hear back the next morning I got an interview. To be honest I had applied to so many I was unsure who the company even was. I emailed back saying I was interested but would call later as I was on a train. Found it strange I was being asked to call. I then received a voicemail asking me to call. Considering the large volume of candidates she mentioned I found this strange.

I called back and had some general chit chat - she then offered me an interview for next day to meet the managers (once again strange, surely they would be MDs if anything, and not someone who would interview me, but standing in the middle of London high street is no time to google!) I agreed then asked about money as I had rent to pay. She was vague and quickly skimmed over 'commission based'  which I pulled up straight away. She then said 'Oh yeah, well you work commission, depending on how good you are depends on how fast you move up, could be weeks, could be months, you're working to management after all.'

Still not answering my questions I became suspicious. I came home, googled their name and found this and much more. I've now emailed saying I WONT be turning up tomorrow.

i went for my 2nd round of interview with monster marketing direct at old street. And all they had to offer was a door to door commission based sales job

THEY GOING OUT EVERY THURSDAY, I'VE BEEN WORKING THERE FROM 09/05/2011 TO 31/05/2011 GREAT PEOPLE NICE ENVIRONMENT BUT TO BE HONEST YOU CAN'T MAKE MONEY WHEN YOU WORK WITH THEM I SPEND MORE MONEY THAN I EARNED BY WORKING, I DIDN'T MAKE MONEY AT ALL. AND LOST BARE TIME, COULDN'T SEE MY FRIENDS. YOU START AT 10AM AND FINISH AT 8AM THEN YOU NEED TO GET BACK TO THE OFFICE : 2 HOURS MORE, SO I GET BACK HOME AROUND 00:00 MONDAY TO FRIDAY EVEN SOME SATURDAYS AND WHEN YOU GET HOME THEY CALLED YOU  TO TALK ABOUT WORK. WORKING THERE IS LOOSING YOUR LIFE EVERTHING YOU GONNA DO WILL BE ABOUT IT AND ABOUT THEM. I went for an observation day last week
An was told by one of the guys
That they only get £5-£10 per item sold
You can have a bad day and only make £20
And you pay for your own travel to all these so called b2b(shop2shop)
The job was advertised as £250PW + OTE
I was told that in fact it's only commission
You can make more being full time in tescos.lol

Even if you don't have a successful sell, you have shown it to someone so

i too had the exact same email and it was only yesterday i was out on location observing the field reps, i was out from 8am-9pm without a break, stood on my feet all day and didnt have a bight to eat, to get home and sat down with my partner feeling devastated they actually offered me a possition... really, something didnt seem right, 72 hours a week on a salary of £3.33 per hour is what i worked out, i told myself i was worth more as i have only moved to london recently and was on a higher wage before up north???

I had a friend call my suposed team leader tofake wanting a job with them then ripped them to bits about the wages and find out this wasnt a job offer it was only a training program, TOTALLY NOT WHAT I HAD ORIGINALLY APPLIED FOR ON C-V LIBRY!!!!!!!!!! AND IT TOOK THEM 2 INTERVIEWS AND 2DAYS TO TELL ME THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry and didnt even tell me this.

OMG!!!! I was about to have an interview with a man called  Johan Gericke in like 1 hour from now BUT lucky me i have googled the managers name just before i go to the interview and i ended up reading this forum. Initially, I received an email from a woman called Bianca from the same number. She said she was from JTG CONSULTING, i was unable to contact her after the email, when we finally talk on the phone she sound really unprofessional. NOW IT ALL MAKE SENSE. i glad i have read this!

Thank you every one because they emailed me at 10-10-2011,I did not reply then call me and said the same story that they are JTG CONSULTING COMPANY etc..One hour before my interview i search Google and got their real face .Thank you so much every one that it saved my time and energy.

First I received a call from a lady speaking from carolina consulting ltd saying that I ll be having my interview tommorow at london bridge. when i went to the interview there was no signs of carolina consulting ltd. there was a different name up their as london marketing. I went their everything was okay. when i was interviewed they did nt talk anything about the salary or how many hours i ll be working. they said to me that i ll be trained for 8 months and after that i ll be training the others. They look highly unprofessional. after that they called me again that i ve been successful and i m in the top 5 candidates selected.shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that was a joke hahaha

and then i saw the complaints and real face of carolina consulting ltd. surely I wont go and waste my time tommorow to spend all my day.

so be AWARE guys .....

I got a email back from these people!!
It said congratulations blah blah interview.

They tried phoning but I missed the call, so I said to them by email "Is this position for Admin like it says or is it cold calling?" and guess what, I got no reply.

I went with monster marketing direct before and they done exactly the same thing, they sat 2 people down making them say why they want the job. Said they get interested peoples information and go to them, seeing if they want the product. But really it's just cold calling on peoples door (in craphole areas) who couldn't care less.

Warning, don't waste time with these jobs, they are also commission based and full of greedy people with no compassion.

I have just recieved an e mail and call fro SSc marketing at 14-20 Strand street lower ground floor waning me to come for interview ,have read all links for this address,so is this not worth going for?

Today I had a interview with JTG consulting, to any graduate looking for a decent job opportunity DO NOT GO! It was such a unbelievable waste of time. I arrived at my interview, I filled out a form, I waited, when i finally went in the guy didn't even look at my CV, instead he just talked about himself, so what was the point of going? He told me about how he would train over a 6 - 12 month period (under the name of personal development) so we could open our own offices in and around the UK... I asked him about the wage, he didn't explicitly say what it was and steered cleared of the subject, i finally got it out of him and he said it was it was based on sales i.e commission so there was no base rate, OK fair enough. So what exactly does this marketing training actually entail, what benefit will I get out of it? Well it seemed to mean face to face sales and standing about in shopping centres hassling people. The whole thing is a load of crap, DO NOT GO!

WELL.... I almost fell for this.

Went for an interview yesterday at 'JTG CONSULTING' where JOHAN GERICKE interviewed me. Really unprofessional environment - chavvy receptionist, music blaring and a bunch of tired looking stressed out scruffbags rushing around. They told me that in order to progress to a worthwhile position I had to do sales which was the entry level. Had an observation day today where I was taken to BHS IN WATFORD to observe sales, my 'mentor' was lecturing me on marketing and how to force sell [***] no brand make-up to poor old ladies. AS I HAVE WORKED IN SALES FOR HARRODS, ESTEE LAUDER I FOUND IT SURPRISING THEY FELT THE NEED TO TEACH ME SALES in cosmetics at BHS. I had more experience than the girl trying to teach me and found the whole thing ridiculous.

Also, yes the whole thing is commission based it is a TOTAL SCAM.
My self esteem is low at the moment and they almost got me- but there is no need to work for this scam of a company. I spent 20 pounds today on travel... what a waste have money :( Depressing

I would like to inform you that london green marketing is still up and running, after loosing my job so close to christmas I am literally deprerate for a job! I have a great backgrond but not having much luck, after a hard think I decided to go for the option I knew my cv and acheivements would give me a great chance! I applyed for many call centres (as this would only be till after christmas) after getting rejection letters from even call centres I latelr got an email, guess what..offering me an interview, after reading and doing some research on the company Idecided to make up some rubbish of how I can't attend via email, within minutes I had another email back literally begging to re-schedule. After telling them I couldn't make that date either I then received 8 missed calls from the number that first contacted me. Thanks to sites like this, us strap for cash lot are wising up! What a great thing the internet is!

Please don't be lured into this time wasting company!

A friend of mine applied for this role to be given an interview
I advised her to do some research on the company as the question "What do you know about JTG ?" would probably arise during the interview.
On google we came accross this site and she has decided not to go

Companies that try to exploit people in this disgraceful way should be investigated by someone like Watchdog
