Went for a job interview with London Green Marketing today.I was already a little sceptical as it was a very immediate response to my application on totaljobs.co.uk and the email seemed pretty generic with spelling mistakes and a change of font half way through the email, however after being out of work 4 a little while now due to the cuts on youth services, I'm becoming very desperate!! Plus I have been interested in getting into events planning and management recently, so when I saw the advert it seemed a perfect opportunity as they were advertising as an Events Marketing company.
My interview was in LONDON BRIDGE @ SHAND HOUSE and this place they called their office was a complete JOKE. They are located in a shoddy basement down some back alley.
Walking into the basement/office I was amused at their attempt to create an office environment. The 'reception' consisted of worn leather chairs, a really battered receptionist desk placed awkwardly in the middle of the room and a few glass cases, showcasing perfume, leaflets and some other bits and bobs I had a quick glance at it but it all looked overcrowded and unsightly, plus I was distracted by 2 foxy looking ladies on reception chatting away (loudly) and flirting with some dodgy looking man.
The people walking around trying to look busy and acting like they were doing something important were really scruffy in my opinion, they came across as aggressive and not very friendly, though saying that I could hear nothing but hysterical laughing from other rooms so they must've had something to laugh about!  
Anyway after filling out some enquiry form I got called into interview by Lauren a friendly South African woman, The office we were taken into was so glum it was shocking. There was a desk, 2 chairs and a lonely shelf with perfume on It (I did not recognise any of the brands) in a room that was too spacious for the lack of furniture in it.
Sorry to say it but the whole thing resembled something out of a porno: staged and cheap! and I felt this further when loud hip hop with a lot of bass banged through the walls and the manager simply looked up and said 'Now that's a lot of noise isn't it!' with a stupid smirk on her face. What the hell?? The music was so loud it was distracting, that and the white stains on her collar (can u imagine! after they want us to come in well presented!). The girl next to me didn't look too impressed either. Then this woman literally goes in with the hard sale trying to flog us her job (all while the music is still pumping mind) Though Lauren was friendly, I was sat there thinking she was on something because she was talking sooooo fast while scribbling various words, numbers and arrows on the back of my CV (quite frantically). What I could make out was that in 6-7months we could be earning 60k  (the ad quoted something more realistic than that) managing/leading our own small team... She never explained how or what the process would be just listed all the supposed roles from bottom of the scale to the top. She also said as we were interested in events we would be 'the ad' for clients of talk talk...  o_0 Between her stupidly fast speech the music and her odd behavior i didn't have a flippin clue what was going on.
When the other girl who was older and more experienced than me and clearly sussing the BS, questioned Lauren she didn't really answer her questions at all just kept repeating herself and referring back to her scribbles on the back of my CV. She then focussed all her attention on me asking me questions that had nothing to do with anything, like "when you was 11 what was you doing??" When I replied 'err I'd probably just started secondary school' she beamed "exactly!!!!" lol..what?! :/
My mind was already made up once I'd stepped in the place even if this was legit I couldn't work in a office as run down as that or with people as rude, crazy and confusing. on the journey back I googled LGM and found all these scam forums so that just sealed it for me
So scam or no scam its a weirdo s**thole anyway.
I just hope the people running these companies can one day FIX UP or GET LOST

From today I will never trust a job advert that over uses the asterisks in the job title.

I recently started working for JTG Consulting and, as people have mentioned, I had two interview days. The first was a quick interview with Johan and the second was a full day 9-7pm shadowing a manager.
Even though I have no experience, no qualifications and did not have a particularly positive attitude during the interview, I was offered the job. I thought it seemed like a good opportunity. I wasn't given full information about what the job involved.

I am now expected to work 12+ hours a day and am earning around £5 a day. The products that we sell are absolute rubbish and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, so it is hard to make a sale. I am spending more on getting to work locations (shops to sell in) than I am earning.

As for the 'positivity' thing; they are obsessed with it. They call people who are not interested in buying the products 'negs' and try to get everyone who works there to become weirdly excited about nothing and positive only about their 'career'. I no longer have a life. I don't see any of my friends, family etc as I'm working such long hours. I'm out of pocket and I'm getting ill from the lack of sleep and exhaustion.

I would not recommend anyone takes a job with these people as it is 100% commission based pay and you are expected to work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week.

I used to work for LIVE marketting. And it is definately NOT worth doing. I urge everybody who gets offered interviews/jobs here or at JTG/London Green Marketting all to seriously consider. I you have no friends, life or family then this job may be fine.

I started working at Live in Oct 2010 - Jan 2011. I done the whole interview where you walk round with some idiot for hours! Yet me being a dumb kid in need of money took the job! I had no idea what i let myself in for.

The hours are ridiculous.. You start at 9-10 depending on how high up you are and you leae the office that night at 10-11. Long? Extremely. Especially as you spend about 10 hours outside.. Not just anywhere though. The "team leaders" do all of the campaign where they sort little maps for everybody to locate their "T" (territory). I was working up in Barking, Peckham, Clapham, East Ham to name a few! I was walking around council estates at 8-9pm on my own or with another person. Would you do tis normally? You have to make your way to your area by bus, train, tram any means neccessary. nd yeah, YOU pay for your travel. You do pitch practise and learn from a little guide book until you get promoted to a leader which i happened to do so in my 2nd week. However, this only meant longer hours with a £2 pay rise per sale. WOO!

Speaking of pay, its a sham. ALL commision! No sales = no money. So if you, like me have to buy a travel card etc, you need at least £50 just to get to work for the week.. This on top of food, and whatever eelse you need to pay for i.e. rent, phone bills. On average you would need to make about 15 sales a week (= £300 roughly). A lot easier than it sounds.. Some weeks i done 18-19 sales, the nex i would do 7-8. You will be in debt!!!

They try and brainwash you in "atmosphere" their daily gatherings/meetings where they talk about [***]. They basically try and get you pumped and excited to earn them money. They drill in the act you need to be excited to do well! Can you be excited to go and walk around outside for 8 hours in the cold?

i worked for live. my leader was pia. i aint guna lie that job taught me alot. how to be a soilder n [***]. and i enjoyed goin around peckham talkin [***] 2 people lol. but the point is im not sure there was really gold at the end of the tunnel> dunno if bein a manager is all its cracked up to be

I had an interview with ssc marketing I Will not be going. The person no the phone sounded very Ott about congratulating me on getting the interview I had to Google them . Thank you to you guys who phased your experiences.

Man we did used 2 have jokes at that place. People are making it out like it was bare sinister. like they used 2 beat us up or suttin n force us to go out pitching lol.

certain people i fort of as my friends, I realized it was fake love tho, there just good at gassing people up. All they really care about is the business. Tom was funny as [***] tho.

2010 winter killed me. We where outside pitching everyday in blizzards when people who had indoor jobs weren't going work. slipping bare times on the ice n that and not making 1 sale certain times. so instead of getting paid  like losing £15 for expenses your spending. I'm glad i did it tho, every time i think somethings hard i just think of them days

I dunno ma, for em the negatives outweighed the positives. True say id never have to do that agin so its all good.

But yeah winter was too cold lol. Walkin around in the snow knocking on doors and making like 10 pound lol.

oh same thing happened to me got a job interview tommorow at london bridge but this time its not liza or paul green its abby.. so excited about geting a new job but after readingall this i decide to save my travelling cost thankz guys...

was going for second interview today with carolina consulting in liverpool but after reading this i'm not going just wish i had seen this before.

Their new name is Blue Moon Direct. I got the email from AbbyMoore. I went through the first interview....same jazz they said n i was called for the second one. In the evening we started reading about this post and ofcourse evrything was same except the names.
So guys please be aware BLUE MOON DIRECT is the same company diff name.....
