I applied via Reed website. Same experience as all other ppl regarding the preliminary interview/observation day.
Basically you will be working on commission based and earning peanuts.
They will have u doing their donkey work at no extra cost to themselves. And u will have doors slammed in ur face doin field sales.
They seem to target ppl who have no dependents..single and carefree with no committments.
Their attitude seems overly enthusiastic..too good to be true. And they tend to talk fast.
I found the experience very strange. They sell it as a management programme where u will be promoted to management level within 10 months.
But it seems very much field sales. The job description they provide is very misleading and confusing.
I think I performed badly in the questions they asked me..but they still offered me the position.
I DEFINATELY DO NOT RECCOMEND U GIVE UP UR DAY JOB FOR THIS. I'll be complaining to Reed Recruitment about
    the misleading job description

you guys are really stupid! because you came to the first and the second interview doesnt mean anything!aspire is a great future prospect. you start off as a distributer which is the hardest part. then you get promoted concidering how good youre with your sales. the hours are long but it does pay off at the end! on average an manager(4-6 months) makes a staggering 5k a week.
its a pyramid scheme so you have to start somewhere to begin with and work your self up the ladder. dont read a book by its cover!!!!!!!!!

God bless the internet! Was all excited on Friday evening when this interview was arranged. Luckily for me I had arranged it for Monday & had the weekend to a little homework on the 'firm'. So glad I googled them & came across this site, it has saved me time, money & disappointment right on top of xmas. Thats an extra £20 in my sky rocket that I would have used in travel & food! Happy days!! Good luck to everyone who is looking for work at the mo, may 2010 be a prosperous year for us all! MERRY XMAS peeps!

THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP YOU GUYS! I was supposed to be going for the interview now, but its snowing today. I ALSO APPLIED THROUGH REED.

I got a call from some lady saying her name was Kelly. She called me for an interview the next day, which I thought was weried as there was no telephone interview and she told me nothing about the job description.  She couldnt get off the phone fast enough.

I chked out the website in the email http://www.aspiremktg.com  straight away i thought, why the hell are they putting pics up like this, making as if its their building when it was some dodgy place round the corner.

Today its snowing really bad, so I thought Id call just to make sure the interview was still gng ahead. The number kept rining and ringing, until finally a man picked up the phone, sd Kelly was not at her desk, but yes the interview will still go ahead.  I was excited! gng to work in London and all.

Then I dnt why i called back because i wanted to knw if they had a place where I could change my shoes and the phone number rang and rang with no answer. The funny thing was, while I was calling I got an email from Kelly asking me to confirm if I was coming due to the weather! (shouldnt she just have called me to get confirmation?)

anyways, im really glad I didnt go, as it would have been a waste of time as well as a travel card....plus now, I can enjoy the snow a lot more!

This is the email that was sent to me.

The nearest underground station is Old Street Station which is on the Northern Line (King's Cross/ Bank branch). Our office is really easy to find if you use exit #8. The main road you'll be on is City Road. There is a green line painted along the sidewalk.  Follow the green line up until it turns left for Moorefield's Eye Hospital. DO NOT TURN LEFT: Continue walking straight on City Road, past the Bavarian Beerhouse, and take the next left, which is Bath Street (it's at a set of traffic lights). We are the first set of blue double doors and you will see a plaque that says '1 Bath Street'. The door should be unlocked, so just push to enter and reception is straight ahead.

hi, i got 2 calls from this Aspire/Spurce marketing company today. I have applied the jobs from them yesterday, cant believe they call me that soon, I was too excited to hear that they offer me a chance to go for an interview tomorrow. However as I look at Aspire website, I think all the information is vague and basically no job spec! and i dont like the manners of the women who called me today, she just ask me to wait 15 mins and she will call me back after she find my application, but after like 1.5 hr she didnt call back, so i call her again, and she said she will send me an confirmation letter for my interview, but i didnt receive any email afterward!! and at night the other girl call me and ask me to go for the same interview, i explained to her that one of their staff already called me and book me in for interview but she said my name wasnt there. At that time, I think this company is not worth to try, they are not organise at all generally. I dont think i am going to the interview after reading all these comments, thanks all!!

Carefull, they have changed their numbers... If they call on mobile, its unknown, and to contact them, they give 0207 251 7277 now.

They contacted me yesterday. Went for interview today... Was excited about all this misterious job... Then checked companies stability via my own trusted resurces and found out that the company is worth zero, they cant even take a credit in the bank! ZERO! Also it is ASPIRE ACQUISITIONS LIMITED, registered Feb last year (they told me on interview its 5 years old and very succesfull...), the director is Mr X (dont know if I wouldn get in trouble mentioning his name...) 26 year old guy who lives in Stanmore in council estate...
They phoned me in 4 hrs after an interview, asking to come tomorrow to spend a day with their senior manager from 12.00pm till 8.30pm...
After all I found out about them, guess if I am gonna go!
    Thank you to all!!

Or shall I just go and F**K them up big times?
    Waste of time anyway...
Good luck to all to choose the right company to work for!!

    Exactly the same as the above comment;

Got an e-mail on 25/01/10 saying; "Thank you for your interest in a career with us!  After carefully reviewing your past experiences and skills, you have been selected for a preliminary interview".

I then rang them on 26/01/10 to arrange an interview for today (27/01/10) at 5.45pm, but when I looked into it further this morning, with the help from my Dad and via the link to their 'website'- which was very very bland considering they are a 'Marketing' company- I found out via Google and this website, that it was infact a scam.

Once the interview had been arranged blandly over the phone, in which one call Kelly said; because they use an unknown number, sometimes it doesn't reach mobiles; I received an e-mail confirming the interview; "We look forward to meeting you during your preliminary interview on Wednesday 27th  January 2010. We have reserved a meeting with one of our Managing Directors at 17:45hrs. Please be sure you are dressed smart and have a printed copy of your CV with you, so the manager has one during your interview.  When you arrive, please ask for Kelly from Aspire at the front reception".

I put my CV on CV Library, who are a trusted job search site, and applied for this 'job' two weeks ago, but how these companies get away with it amazes me, and why these recruitment websites don't do anything about it or are oblivious to these things, also amazes me.

I reluctantly pulled a 'sicky' at work today because I thought that this could be the big break I have been looking for, but infact I will lose £50+ in wages due to these sick people.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THESE PEOPLE, THIS SHOULDN'T BE HAPPENING IN OUR OWN COUNTRY!

    Here are some of the details they use to try and reel you in;

Why do Reed still advertise it then? It must be breaking some type of false advertisement rule that the company sets potential employers.

I went to the interview yesterday thinking it sounded too good to be true. Evidently, I was right. As soon as you walk in it looked like a scene from a bad US sitcom. Young guys and girls walking around as if they're the most dynamic and charasmatic people on the planet, where in truth, they just look like a bunch of arrogant s***s! The only thing I did like was the music. 20 minutes of listening to Lady Gaga, Cheryl Cole and Alicia Keys...amazing. I was tempted to ask for a Bacardi Breezer. Like most of you that attended the first interview, I was called back about 2 hours later and asked if I could spend the day with one of their senior sales people...ON A SATURDAY!!!

To cut a long story short, complete scam, complete waste of time and completely disgusting.

I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I intend to report them to Reed and also suggest that Reed take them off their site. It's hard enough for people to get work these days and to allow little idiots like Aspire to trade is just plain wrong.

I also received a call from Unik Corporation Ltd today....the lady was very vague and couldn't get off the phone quick enough..I was suprised considering I applied yesterday and interview being scheduled for friday already. So after I hanging up I checked on Reed where I applied for this apparent job in my application history and it had completely disappeared...but I still had the email from reed confirming my application so it did exist. So looks like these companies quickly cover their tracks. So after that i decided to google them and up comes the scams...thanks you guys for saving me a lot of hassle :)
