hi my husband was been brainwashed by them.he was on benefit for 2 years.now he join this B1. NO MONEY   give me.or less on we are on benefit,i have 3 kids here,he work so hard for nothing.no time for family,no moneywhen my 9 month baby was sick i call him.he dont answer call ...say he is busy..he go work at 6am come back at 12pm or 1 am in the morning.but his leaders manegers makeing him believe he will get 3000/week if he continue......all rubbish.....i just want my husband back,he  dont listen......after he get that rubbish job,we had 2 times big arguement,and i throw him out.found out he live in his maneger house.what i can do....

I had an interview with Arcedia. Went for the training day but decided it wasn't for me. After reading all the above comments, I'm glad but now I'm worried that I've given my personal and nack details to a company that clearly has dodgy credentials. Can anyone offer any advice on this as its really starting to bother me!

Went to a B1 Client  Services interview today for a trainee energy surveyor.  Total scam. Thank God I didn't go to the second interview to walking up and down the place. I say go with your gut instinct if you think a job is dodgy. For example why would a sales and marketing company need a energy surveyor? *face palm*

Have a mate who is currently working for this rubbish company.... never trusted them in the first place when he brought back the independent contractors form to fill out and also after hearing how the whole interview process worked with all the strange motivational talks he goes through in a huge room without chairs or anything! He's making much less than the minimum wage but i'm pretty sure he's been brainwashed by constantly hearing the speil about this promotion to the "next level" rubbish with huge pay.... that's never going to happen.

Basically he's walking around door knocking for around 12 hours a day 6 days a week.... spent the whole Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Monday walking around!?!

Any ideas to get him out of this? It's not a scam but he's getting pretty agro whenever we all bring up his situation now....

If your thinking about going for the interview DON'T.... or if you really want to try it out, take a mate along and they could confirm for you that it's complete rubbish!

has noone noticed that this company has many alias's??? you people commenting saying you work for them, theyre great etc does it not occur to you there must be something wrong if they do this? as far as i am concerned they are just taking advantage of peoples time, money and beliefs.
If they were to be honest about what the full job spec is, even i wouldnt have a problem doing it. I have worked in agressive sales environments for over 7 years now, and with people who work on commission only, and yes the sky is the limit and if youre good you can earn a great mouth-watering 6 figure salary. The fact they hide what the job entails just shows they dont care who they employ and know that most wont last long, so they just get ready to replace them for another week or two!!!

Mate, i got caught up in this rubbish for 5 months. All it took for me to get out was a long weekend away with the boys in Edinburgh. I didn't want to go because my manager had drummed into me the fact that 1 day off means you can far behind, and i was worried about my finances as self employment has no holiday allowances. But of course in reality I couldn't go cos I was incredibly skint.

My mates stepped in and paid for my train and accomodation so i could barely refuse the offer as i'd never been to Scotland before and they already had the tickets etc. After the first night out and the best fun i'd had in a long time (since starting the job) I'd already made my mind up and never went back. Sent my manager an email demanding he give me my last pay (which i never received) and moved on. He called me and rebutted the same old bulldust they preached to me from the start, but for once the things he was saying actually sounded like complete rubbish.

I'm not saying you have to spend a fortune but a few days away from the place in good company made me wake up to myself. Maybe it will work for your friend. Hope this helps, Good Luck!

Hey Guys, been reading through these comments and all the negative comments are really true. I worked there for just over 2 months and got myself into an unbelievable amount of debt...1400 pounds to friends and my dad had to pay my rent for 2 months. It may seem a bit exaggerated, but I was borrowing to pay for food, bills, travel, "road trips" for the job etc. Six months on and I am still trying to get back on my feet.

It was the worst experience of my life and I don't even talk about it as it makes me so upset and angry. I would say I was brainwashed and constantly laughed off my flatmate's comments that I had "joined a cult". I tried so hard with little or no results but my manager was also my "leader" and he pushed and pushed and each time I failed made me think it was my own fault...which in turn only made me want to try harder to prove them wrong. I would not "lose my attitude" tomorrow!!

Unfortunately, all it did was alienate me from my friends and make me so unhappy as I had lost all self esteem. I thought no matter what, my best was not good enough and wondered why people around me were doing so well and I wasn't.

In fact, we were "not allowed" to share our daily figures and people who had left or had been fired "were not to be spoken of". So no one really knew how anyone else was doing. In hindsight, I see all the tricks, but getting caught up in what seemed to be a great opportunity was a quick process and the brainwashing...well they have that down to an art.

One of the things I am extremely sad about is all the others who I in turn lied to. I made them believe what I was misled to believe. As a leader (which I eventually got promoted to, and not because I fulfilled the requirements, but because my manager wanted to keep me around) I was given days of observation and allowed these poor, unassuming people to fall into the same trap I did.

So, it may not be a scam as a company, but the people are ruthless to say the least. They have no problem taking advantage of people and that to me is an unethical company who does not deserve the right to be trading as anything.

I also have the concern that they hold all of my personal details, so any advice on what my rights are would be greatly appreciated!

Ps. The receptionists themselves told me they take on different names so beware!

AFTER WASTING 3 DAYS OF MY TIME ON ONE SCAM COMPANY, I GOT A CALL DAYS LATER FROM ANOTHER AND GUESS WHAT.....!!!!! I ASKED WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILED AND THEY SAID IN OFFICE FINANCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE, I LOOKED UP THE COMPANY AND FOUND THIS SITE AND SAID IS TE JOB DOOR TO DOOR AND THEY STILL BEAT AROUND THE BUSH AND FINALLY I GOT IT OUT OF THEM AND SAVED MYSELF FROM GOING THROUGH ANOTHER WASTE OF TIME INTERVIEW!

WHOEVER WROTE THIS MUST BE A MANAGER OF THE COMPANY WHO PROBABLY IS NOT GETTING PAID MUH EITHER BECAUSE THEY ARE BEING CONNED TOO!

THIS CAN NOT BE JUSTIFIED!! YOU WILL LOOSE OUT! I MEAN 10HRS JUST FOR THE OBSERVATION DAY AND THAT IS NORMAL HOURS, ONLY IF YOU GO OVER HOURS WILL YOU BE MANAGER (SO THEY SAY). Thanks for giving me heads up guys, as I was desperately looking for the truth about those scum company’s. I had a second interview with Unik cooperation a week ago and they were three other people with me. And to make things worse the sh”t manager told us that he will only choose two of us. And he ends up choosing all of us!!  Anyway after we came back to the office again one of the manager there told me that i wasn’t successful but suddenly he changed his mind and told me he will ask my supervisor for a recommendation!!, then the supervisor came and said that I was good enough to be accepted for the job.  PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM

I have worked for 1 of these companies for 7 months & made an average of £500 a week, it was extremely hard but it wasn't a scam really. My leader was very good & explained the whole setup properly from the 1st day. the way the business works is simple, get good in sales, door to door, events or business to business then replicate yourself, build a team of 6 people + then when you have trained them to hit a certain number of sales a week then you get promoted then you learn the back end of the business & run a campaign & earn a passive income. There i have meet managers earning 10k a week to lazy managers earning 60k a month. Regional directors earning 200 - 300 k a month & VP's earning minimum 500k a month. Its hard in the beginning but it pays off in the next few years. Only reason i quit is because my health wouldn't permit it but i got promoted to 2nd stage in 13days & 3rd stage in 6 months then i got ill because of complications i had few years before i took that jon

you say that its not a legitimate business, so im assuming that youve never worked for them?
because lets face it the people who slag pff direct sales companies are either dole bums who sit at home all day so yeah they might get seen by a few people knocking on the door because, well, lets face it they dont do anything else with there timeapart from feed there families off other peoples taxes!! or they are the people who have tried to do sales themselves, been told about the progression possibilities and money that it involves, and have failed miserably lol.

now what i will say is yes direct sales is long hours, and yeah if you dont make sales then no you dont make money. but im involved with arcedia myself and well,,, my brand new golf gti proved to me that direct sales work.

now i dont mean to pick on you but lets face it if your going to blame something in life, your obv one of those people who find it easier blaming other people rather than yourself lol.  so next time your sat in the job centre, you might actually reconsider going for that interview.
