Got a call from these people GFK Marketing asking for me by name, and wanting me to complete a survey. When I wouldn't confirm who I was, they wouldn't give any information using the Data Protection Act card, and got quite shirty. As I wasn't getting anything beneficial from a phone call at 8:30 in the evening, I politely told them to go away :o)

Recevied a call 8.30pm stated from gfk marketing wanted to do a bank survet asked for me by my full name as it appears on my bank card.Declined to identify myself and hung up.Where did they get my details from?

THIS is very scary.

I answered call at about 5.25pm on Sunday 27th, pleasant well spoken chap
identified himself and named GFK and said it was a survey.  I declined as I had visitors
but I really don't want calls at this time.  I don't want the no-number calls at any time!

I have had 3 calls this evening, from this number,in the space of two hours and, when answered I got the silent treatment. I was getting nuisance calls 3 yrs ago and ,got in touch with Ofcom who sorted it out. I didn't receive anymore cold calls /nuisance calls until recently. Ofcom sorted it but a few people told me it doesn''t last for thr duration.So I am getting back in touch with Ofcom ASAP. I would suggest you do the same. Good LUck.

Gary Barlow (apparently???) calling from GfK to do a survey. I hung up, as I'm sick of surveys/pseudosales calls. Maybe if we all just hang up as soon as we know it's a spam call they might give up.

Unsolicited calls again from this 02078909051 number, this time on Sunday afternoon just before 4pm.

Ofcom will get a call tomorrow morning about harassment.

Had call at 8.30 PM caller said it was doing a market research and would I answer some questions i politely put the phone down really annoying to get so many of these unwanted calls

If you wanted to find out more of the caller of unsolicited telephone calls try to put the number into a computer search engine and you may find who's calling it's a very good method to find out who is behind the call may not always work/

Just been called by this company claiming to be calling to complete a survey from my bank.
She then proceeded to ask who I bank with.......
After some short questioning it was evident she didn't have a clue with whom I bank with.
Informed her I didn't appreciate being deceived by cold callers, would be informing Ofcom of this Companies tactics, & wished for my number to be immediately removed from their system.

What exactly do you assume OFCOM can do with a legitimate legal company like GFK? Do enlighten us.

Nuisance. I'm reporting to TPS & OFCOM, why can't numbers that are dialled randomly by a computer be blocked by them??

No answer when I picked up the phone, at 7.45 pm.

Cold call from this number and claimed "we are not selling anything" wanted to conduct a "media survey", I declined and hung up.

Got a cal tonight 8pm, hung up on them and programmed the phone to read 'scam' and play an identifying and so I don't have to bother to check out who it is.

These idiots are as others have said are GFK NOP, a bunch of pillocks in Bedford. They phone me every so often at 8.30 pm weekdays and on Sunday afternoons. I don't have a bank account or spend money on financial 'products' so they should not need to keep hounding me. Pests.

Had a call from them this evening - told them I had two small children asleep and not to call back and remove me from their database, an hour later at 8.15 they called back again!! I am livid!
