If you have a look at the TPS website you will see that they cannot help with such calls. Contact the Company direct to make your complaint. Personally I think the idea of getting their Directors' details then phoning them at home each time you get such a call is by far the best idea.

- DaveWalesLady rang at 20:38hrs Friday night asking for me by name, said she was phoning to do a survey about a complaint with HSBC bank. Told her not prepared to answer questions about a matter that is between my bank and I, line then went dead. I'm guessing she couldn't be bothered with the courtesy of "sorry to bother you have a good evening" type of ending to the call. Unprofessional and frankly after a long week could do without rude people ringing me up and hanging up when I politely explain I'm not interested.

- NeilGot a call from this number. They hung up. So I have now added it into the banned numbers list on my CPR call blocker. If they call again my phone won't ring. It's great. I hardly get nuisance calls now but when I do, thesame numbe can't call me back again

- Ed replies to Davey GI received a call from this number on Sunday afternoon. Caller knew my name, but fortunately I couldn't hear what they were saying no fault of caller, who sounded like polite a woman) and so after four sentences she rang off. I don't know how often this number has called me already, because I have such a high volume of nuisance calls that I often don't answer my telephone at all. I looked up the number on a site http://www.telepest.co.uk/02078909051 and they reckoned it was from a market research company GFK NOP. "This call was unsolicited and therefore constitutes a nuisance call" is one way of putting it. Telepest also rated the number as a non-telepest. Usually I am paid for participating in market research.

I asked if she had checked the TPS before calling me and she said that the calls are 'random digit filing' where the last 3 numbers are changed. I informed her that her call was unsolicited and that she should check with her supervisor about checking the TPS list before making the random calls.
