This number also kept calling my house today and left no message despite there being an answering machine. Why don't they just f... off!

Missed several calls from this number in the past few weeks, were early morning calls, the phone belongs to my daughter who unfortunatley has a brain/memory disability(i like her to have a phone so that I can always be in contact with her in case she wanders off) also she uses as an alarm clock for her medication. this evening 5 min to 6 just before her alarm goes she answered this call. I told her to hang up (nobody has her no.) she told me they said something like incoming call!. It is ridiculous and for me unnerving to know that you can have this haressment on your mobile.

How did they even get my number? This is a brand new phone and phone number for me! Not even some of my closest friends have it...

Called today at 7:22, 7:26 and 7:30 7:45pm let it go straight to voicemail, the left 3 messages saying they got my details from a third party and wanted me to take part in their survey...after recieving third voicemail I edited my voicemail welcome message to "Hey you've reached my voicebox, please leave a message after the beep, I'll get back to yoy- unless you're calling on 0207890951 in whcih case please do one!" think they got the message in the end lol.

Just changed my number as was getting loads of these calls, mainly from 02920 numbers. This is a first for me from an 0207 number. Scumbags, get a life.

To the ex-employees/employees etc saying people shouldn't be rude to these nuisance callers, and suggesting these surveys are of some kind of benefit!

What you are really doing is trying to get people's time and information for free, which you then sell to other companies (banks etc) - that's how you make your money.

When you call people up all the time it is the equivalent of tapping someone on the shoulder in the street, then running away or asking them personal questions.

I hope your companies are all shut down, the architects of these schemes made to pay a fee to all the people who gave their time and valuable information to you for nothing, and then you can all go get different jobs that don't revolve around p*ssing people off for money.

Got a call today from 02078909051 at 10:27am and she just went on and on and on hardly without drawing breath...and i thought 'when is she going to stop?' she was prattling on about ringing on behalf of someone else regarding something to do with market research for some other company that i'd never heard of and she completely lost me so took the initiative and put the phone down ............

These guys called me Thursday afternoon, asking if I had time to partake in research about cash point machines. I was eating dinner at the time so I said no. Since then they have called 6 times a day, but I couldn't be bothered to talk to them so I never answered. They called just now and I got my bloke to answer. They said the same thing to him about cash points, but he told them he wasn't willing to answer any questions.

I don't know if these guys are legitimate or not, but I don't like their style either way. It's borderline harassment considering how many times they're calling.

Just been called by these people at 20:41 at night after geting the baby off to sleep, and these idiots rang up asking if we would speak to them, something needs done about this gfknop, we only got our number about 3 weeks ago via virgin and getting nuisance calls already.

Recieved call on my mobile this evening - didn't recognise the number so I hung up without answering as I was busy with a customer at work. They called back 30 mins later but I missed it as I had put the phone on silent - I'm bored at work now so googled the number to find this site - glad they missed me now :-)

I have had loads of calls today from this number today - I'm on a course so missed them all. I remember them calling last week. Survey about credit cards I think. They were a bit unprofessional. What really concerned me is I think they are actually legitimate, but really, you don't call someone and then ask for their name and who they bank with if you already know, it just sounds wrong and makes you suspicious from the outset. If I do answer I usually just pretend to be Brian Sewell. That usually scares them off. Is this a fair thing to do? I think so, I'm not the one doing the interrupting.

This number called my parents' house once in the week and got no reply so left no message, then phoned again and asked for my sister by her first name only at 8.45 on a Friday night.  When told that my sister doesn't live here and told to leave her name and number so we could pass on a message, the woman (sounded Australian) asked for a mobile to contact my sister on. Told her that I didn't have a number to hand and repeated that she could leave her details, but she said, 'That's all right I won't speak to her then,' and rang off.  All very bizzare

I too have had several calls from this number and one from same number but ending 53.  No messages left, and on one occasion when I answered phone - just an "Oh No!" and they hung up.  I am registered with TPS.  If such companies are not required to observe TPS, I would like to know how I can block them...

Just had a phonecall from this number now... didnt get to it in time. If it is a real market research company within the UK then why are they calling at around 9pm!?! hmmmm.......

Thanks to this site I contacted GFK NOP with an email to ukinfo@gfk.com request politely asking that my number be removed from their list.  I recieved a very prompt curteous reply assuring me that my number had been added to their list of blocked numbers and that I would not be troubled again...  so far I have not.

I got a call from this number today. I didn't answer it because i didn't recognise the number at all and I was highly suspicious of the 020 starting number. Am glad I didn't answer it after looking here. But what bugs me is I haven't given my number out to many people and haven't given it to any companies.
