Had a call at 5.30pm to night. Slight variation to number as my phone identified +4402078909051.

No one appeared to be at the end of the line.

To the person that stated that they are paying for the call - alas you are wrong.  BT jave a lovely call tariff for these call centres to use where they do not pay for calls less than 10 seconds duration.  It's why the machines can be power diallers setting up calls before there are agents to actually answer them.

Calling and having a dead line is meant to be outlawed by OFCOM however ....

Got a call from these people at 1757.  They asked for my husband by name and, when I said he was at work and asked if I could help, they said they were doing a short satisfaction survey and rang off before I could find out who for.  Presumably they tried to keep the call under 10 seconds.  Somewhat worrying that they knew his name and number...

just had a call from these muppets, 7pm monday night, phone rang out, no message left, would be nice to see them shut down

Number called my mobile at 1939 30/4/2009, didn't ring long enough for me to answer.

called me everyday for the last few days, no messages left!!

Had these people call me every day this week roughly around 5 times a day asking for the person who is in charge of the account and banking. Keep telling them that she is not here and can I help but just getting hung up. These people are feffin annoying and I will make a official complaint about them to OFCOM.

What a nuisance. There a fraud company who like to pester people because they have nothing else to do then be drips all there life.

To all the people whinging about being TPS registered - it protects you from SALES calls NOT marketing calls.

To Martin Robinson and whoever else is complaining about ex employees stating that people shouldn't be rude to the interviewers - HOW DO YOU THINK COMPANIES ARE ABLE TO IMPROVE THE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES THEY PROVIDE TO YOU, THE CUSTOMERS???? Feedback HAS to be obtained in order to improve and change services. If the companies have no idea about what customers are thinking and feeling in relation to what products and services are being sold - then how on earth will they know what we want?? All you have to do is answer the phone and tell them you don't want them to call back and they WON'T. If you hang up on them, THEY WILL CALL BACK.

It was ringing today, but i dont normally pick unknown numbers so i didnt but for the curiousity i search this number through google and found so many result, thanks God i missed  market survey call.

Had these numbers bothering me 7 years ago on my home phone wanting to do NOP surveys, and when I turned them down, they kept ringing and hanging up. Ignorant people.
Now they are trying my new mobile number - no one has it so must be ringing numbers at random. I just cut them off.

Why this (02078909051) phone number is caling to unnkown person like me and ask unthinkable questions ?
Please find out and let them instruct for NOT disturbing to the public. They do not answer, when we response the call and when we call the same number that they will instruct on the viocemail that--GO TO GFKNOP.COM.
FIRST HOW DID THEY MY MOBILE NUMBER AND WHAT IS THEIR AIM ?

My wife just had a call from them - from the pronunciation of her name suspect the person was foreign so immediately thought of Nigeria. Had a few minutes of fun wasting their time.

Get calls from these people all the time some research company - so funny they people sticking up for them on here blatenly work for them . pathetic

This is GFK NOP. They are a genuine market research company. They get the phone numbers by randomly generating them. It is also true that they might say they don't need to actually speak to you if you don't meet the criteria they are looking for.

I'm not defending them, I think it is a complete joke they are allowed to do it. Because it's market research they don't even have to respect TPS. But they are operating within the rules and therefore OFCOM cannot help!

Just please don't encourage them by participating in their surveys!

I guess they're doing the rounds tonight, I wasn't by my phone when they rang, I thought the 0207 number was a bit funny so I googled it and found it here, glad I wasn't around.

had two calls off this number in the space of 30 mins luckly i checked it on here thanx guys this site is a life saver!

I have received a call from 02078909051 but no message left and I don't know the number at all please can this number be investigated as I believe it to be a uninvited call.
