Got a call from these tossers while I was making Sunday dinner. I couldn't bar any more of these unsolicited calls from these people because my phone bar list is full. I wish Panasonic phones would manufacture a phone with a bigger memory for the bar list,  at least a phone with 500 memory slots to stop these people annoying me and others. They should fine these company's at £10,000 per unsolicited call. It seems a coincidence that I was cold called the previous night by a black person who was also doing a survey at 7:30pm on a Saturday night ????? , totally interrupting my privacy.

Had a call from this company yesterday. I asked were they got my number from as its ex directory and was told that they would be breaking the data protection act if they told me the name of the company.  I then told them that they were in breach of the data protection act for illegally purchasing an ex directory phone number and using the number, they went on the defensive and promised to remove my number from there records.

Sunday afternoon 3.15pm

My husband answered the call from GFK NOP. When they asked for me he told them it was not a convenient time for me to take the call.  The young man on the line was rude, constantly talking over my husband and insisting that I had agreed to do a survey. After a couple of minutes of trying to be polite my husband hung up.

This woman owns many of the companies that spam call us every week. I say spam her.

Just had a call from this number (9.45pm) - my husband answered it, but they asked for me by name - he said I was still at work - he asked who was calling but they said they would ring again another time & hung up. We are also ex-directory, but don't think that means anything nowadays !!

Next time they call, I will pick the phone up, let them speak as much as they want because I wont be answering I will just leave the phone active on the table  - see how much that costs them !!

I have the "caller display" on my home phone.  As I did not recognise the number I did not answer; when the call went to answerphone, the caller terminated the call.  After reading several feedback's from numerous people I purchased a "Panasonic" home phone.  The system allows me to put up to thirty telephone numbers into a "Caller Barred" list, thus preventing those numbers ever being able to get through to my number again!  It also allows me to catergorise all my  contacts i.e. Family - Friends - Business etc (up to eight categories), with a memory of 200 names.  And to stop any unwanted calls for example during the night - the system allows one to programme a single category or more to be able to get through between any times one decides.  Now, only "Family" members can reach me between 10 pm and 7 am.      BLISS.

Had a call from this company, he said it was market research on banks and building societys, then asked which bank I used. Told him I would not answer a question like that over the phone and I hung up.

i have just received a call from this company asking for my husband . i also have the panasonic home phone and have just barred this caller from ever contacting me again this phone is amazing .

Just been called by this number but they hung up before i could answer,after reading some of the other comments regaring this number i'm glad i didn't pick up in time.

They remind me of the junk mail everyone gets in their emails. I find them amusing but when it is the phone ringing, not funny!  It is so intrusive and should be illegal, I think if they were on my door step knocking the door, I would set the dog on them or the teenagers!

Spam caller.  Just annoying swines, best to ignore or block the nobbers.

I've just had a call from these people on my mobile which is odd as I've only had the phone for a few weeks and they asked for me by name!!!  I've hardly given this number to anyone.  Market research on banks.  I have put the number into my phone and set it to send all calls to voicemail so I won't ever speak to them but it's so annoying.

I  pay to have market reserch call blocked & i am x directory. The odd one still seems to get through.

Received April 7 at 12:36 pm. Woman said she would like to do a survey. Asked who they were GFK NOP and what is the survey about. Your opinions on various things. No thanks. The least said to these people the better.

Just had a call from this number. (They called before as well, but I was unable to answer). The lady with a quite nice voice asked if she could speak to me (didnt pronaunce my last name right anyway), and I said she has wrong number. She apoligised and ended call quickly. I did that before with other people calling, and that was it, so I guess from now on I will use that answer, or next time will start screaming really loud to my phone, or maybe start talking like I'm crazy. There has got to be a way to stop them calling.  :)

Just sounds like they are chatting away to themselves and weren't expecting anyone to answer it.

I hope they call back soon, I stubbed my toe earlier and I still haven't let out the scream  :o)

GFKNOP - this company made an unsolicited call to my private unlisted telephone number in Ireland from  the UK on Sunday afternoon. I objected to the call on the grounds that my number is unlsted for reasons of privacy and asked them how they found my number. The operator stated that my number was generated 'randomly'' (which I understand to be an illegal use of technology in this country). she put me on to her supervisor who gave me the corporate spiel about what they are doing being perfectly legal - ie unsolicited survey calls are not illegal as they are not marketing/sales calls. Then she told me that my number would be removed from their database. This completely contradicts the notion of random number generation as the number is already stored somewhere. I have a right not to be disturbed on a sunday afternoon in my own home by a commercial business in another country.
