They usually continue to call because u can not be coded as refusual on the system because you have not told them to confirm this.. to just spend a few mins of your time to acknowledge the call and make a decision could go hassle free. These people are just dpoing their jobs.

Said they were calling on behalf of HSBC Business Banking and needed to speak to the business owner RE: feedback. Hmm sounds strange to me!

Just had a phone call from this number (young chap with grimey, slangy, "innit" style ethnic accent) alleging he was carrying out a survey on behalf of my bank, and specifically how they handled complaints Worryingly he knew my full name and who I banked with... (I'm sue I shredded my statements) when I started to quiz him a bit, the phone went dead. I called the bank who said they do not use survey companies and would never release personal info to third parties..... Data Protection etc

I had a call today from these asking to do some Market Research Questions.

I asked if he would need any personal details from me, which he didn't - For once I went ahead and said yes I would answer questions (which threw him off track).

They were asking about Communications - such as being offered a mobile/sky/cable etc.  I answered no to all his questions and he said 'Thanks' and then went on his way.

Thinking about it - I'm probably on a list to call from now on!

Also had a call from this number at 13.55 on a Sunday, told them I wasn’t interested in any market research, asked them why they disturbed my afternoon they said they had to work? They rang again at 18.30 and again at 21.00 on the same day, each time I ignored the call.

I keep getting this number ring me but I dont answer - any ideas who it is?

Australian woman from GFK rang wanting to carry out a survey. What is disturbing is that she knew my name & title. I simply do not easily give out that information, so I wonder where she got it?

I have just had a call from this number stating they are working on behalf of my back asking for details. with that I said I don't give out details about my bank on the phone only in person, she hung up.
