Well done.  I hope you told them to send a pre-paid label to return their rubbish.  It would help if you also contacted Action Fraud and Trading Standards.  They only way to stop this scum preying on the elderly and vulnerable is to make enough complaints to get them shut down.  On "You've been Scammed" earlier this week a Trading Standards Officer stated "never buy or take any product claiming to be medication without consulting your GP".  This is a message we need to get across to our elderly friends and relatives and to other elderly members of the community.

    So 'Rita' is it?

    Staff of Sanda more like!

My elderly parents have been called by Sanda and conned into giving their bank details for a subscription to some dodgy health mag.

Is this new for them?  I can't see it on here just about pills?

Should I get the card stopped?

I hope this scum burn in hell.

The magazine is indeed a new load of rubbish from this scum.  They must be feeling the heat from Trading Standards, Action Fraud and the media and are trying to diversify.  They have even opened up another new number as the others are so full of complaints and posts telling people where to report this lot.  As for "Rita", have you ever heard a woman say " It really works, man"?  Sounds more like Gangsta Rap.  I would certainly get the card stopped and report them to Trading Standards and Action Fraud.  Every report is one more nail in their coffin.

How can you defend these criminals - if one needs supplements they can be found in any high street at a fraction of the price - yes people should be very scared of these vultures who prey on the elderly and vulnerable.

Obviously yet another Sanda employee.  They must be getting worried about all the bad publicity, including the piece on Radio 4, which really exposed their scam.  I understand that they are also no longer in the running for the Crawley "new business" award as someone explained to the organisers just what sort of a company they were.  Every little helps.

I did email this number and was promised a refund for my mother - nothing happened !! I only hope that no- one has continued to phone her -she gets very distressed over these calls- dont even pretend that you care - you have taken so much money from old and sick vulnerable people. I hope that you are stopped but no doubt you will come up with another business to rob the vulnerable.

    Hi Jan,

Your message is confusing.  According to our system the refund was processed on 23rd Feb and a letter detailing this refund was sent to your mother on 26th February.

As we have had no further communication it was assumed that it had been received.  Please can you check your mothers account for this time for the refund and if it is not showing please come back to me on complaints@sandawellbeing.com and I will find out what has happened.

    Kind regards
    Bali.

Certainly no money has been been refunded to my mothers account - I keep a very close eye on it for obvious reasons. Also no letter has been received at my mothers address. We now have a system to double check all phone calls and letters.

Funny how you could access my mothers money so easily but are unable to replace it - you have an address so why not send her a cheque for 399 pounds that you took?

Could you please check your system?

This was my previous post from 13/04/13:

I have discovered that my 84 year old mother has received a call from this company and they recently sold her wellness products at a total cost of £204.99. I challenged the company in an email today and made a formal complain of harassment and bullying by the telesales individual - an Asian male. I recently had my mother's phone number changed due to an attempted fraud, however the company obtained the number by whatever means and the caller convinced her to pace another order for products she does not need or want. Payment was taken by card, the details of which were solicited from my mother. I received an email response from a Mark Smith of their Customer Services department within an hour, apologising and offering to refund the money as I will be sending the unused products back to them. They have agreed to delete my mother's contact and account details from their system, as I requested and rest assured I will be monitoring this and will enforce my mother's rights to privacy.

Following numerous email communications with Sanda Wellbeing, specifically Mark Smith and Bali Bailey (Mrs), they have fully refunded all my mother's purchases from late 2010 to date, totalling over £1600. This is a most satisfactory outcome and I am pleased to say that the company responded in a timely, professional and responsible manner. At my request, they have also deleted my mother's details from their computer system, so she should not receive any further unsolicited telemarketing calls to her home. I consider this outcome satisfactory and the issue is now closed. I am returning the unwanted products to Sanda Wellbeing and I have been assured that the postage costs also will be reimbursed to me.

My mother (in her eighties and quite vulnerable to sales chat) bought these. £69.75 for four packs. Please google each of the stated ingredients, they contain nothing other than tablet-making compunds - emusifier, stabiliser, anti-adherent, whitener etc. most of them used in paints, plastics, cosmetics, toothpaste. No mention of rose hip. We have returned them for a refund.

Hi I have been reading a few pages of this post and was just wondering if it's the same company as Sanda Lifestyle?. My 85 year old grandmother was a victim of this disgusting company last Thursday and has now received some cream at the cost of £199.95 . I am livid and have called the company and emailed them. I am awaiting a response but will most certainly take this all the way.

My mother had a call from a sandra at this company,my mother has numerous health problems, she was told all of them could be cured by ghis product. After giving my mother many compliments ,she was asked for her credit card details,my mother refused saying she needed time to think, still the sales person was persistent, making my mother feel she had to give her credit card details, after half hour my mother cut ths call, three times the sales person called back,my mother did not answer. This is a fact theese sales people pick on the elderly and use pressure techniques.

Don't touch them my Dad was ripped off by around £1800, he was a vulnerable person who was conned into giving his debit card details over the phone, the tablets are much smaller average dosage and you can buy similar products for a lot cheaper from a lot more reputable retailers.
The scam is that they pick on the vulnerable and elderly, they have no morals or ethics and stoop to the lowest level of pond life. My strong advice would be to steer clear totally.
