- vonny replies to Paul Bhad one of these calls this morning (13.9.11) indian gentleman calling himself alister said they were in my area this week asked about my health, made me think he was a medical expert, gave me all the speil, made me feel good about myself but i had alarm bells ringing from about 2 mins in. unfortunately he badgered me that much i gave in ( not like me) but i did ask where they got my number and ADDRESS from, he said they bought lists, which i have heard of before. really annoyed with myself now cos i gave them my bank details but i didnt buy anything, cancelled it in the end, bit worried now they may still use it so will contact my bank, oh and i was told they were in milton keynes bucks, so my advice is, if you hear the name SANDA WELLNESS CENTRE or similar, HANG UP!!
- vonny replies to maryI was on the phone for over an hour, they tried to sell me something called ROSE X also called GOPO a rosehip supplement, i have actually checked the registration number on conpanies house and it does check out, they are just a nuisance preying on the older more vulnerable people, i was passed on the someone who was supposed to be a doctor, but i only have their word for that and anything they told me, very annoyed now!
- Anne replies to DornHi Dorn,
I got a call from an Indian sounding gentleman this morning trying to sell me a pomegranate tablet. He said it would help my immune system as well as help with weight loss. Did you get the tablets from these people? Did they work?
Thanks
Gwen - Anne| 1 replyI got a call from Sanda Wellness this morning trying to sell me the pomegranate tablet. They wanted my bank details which I did not give them thankfully but now they keep calling back. Who else do I need to report this to?

- Katie replies to Not yet seniorWell said!! This is very good advice. I'm reporting them to Consumers Direct as I became very unwell for 3 months taking their Rosex and it cost me £149-00. I can't believe I could be conned like this. Sanda Wellbeing Ltd should be made to stop.trading in this way... You don't know what's in the tablets.
- Katie replies to Donald RocheI also got a call from Sanda and was persuaded to buy their Rosex for £149.00 after taking it for a month I became ill. My doctor said the Rosex was the probable cause of my feeling so unwell. I have stopped taking it now for two months and am just beginning to feel better now. They won't give a refund either.... You don't know what goes into the tablets..... BE WARNED!! Much safer going to your local health shop.

- JohnHad a call from this outfit today that went on for 15 to 20 mins with someone calling themselves Steffi. She initally claimed to be doing a survey on health and asked me a host of questions including height and weight from which she calculated my BMI,- a figure I already knew. She then asked if I was aware of Ginsing and its benefits from which I indicated that I was fully conversant with it. Despite this she went through its properties and then offered to supply 10 months worth of a supplement that contained all sorts of vitamins including those that can realistically best come from the sun, at a discount. I enquired as to who in her orginisation was medically trained and licenced to assess the nutritional needs of any individual she said that they had a doctor. When I asked where this doctor had undertaken her professional training to become a doctor I was advised India. I then asked for the doctors registration number with the BMA, met with an alien silence. I then advised the caller that I was married to one of the worlds leading Dietitians and I would rather take my advice from someone who was professionally trained, licenced and insured than those on a cold call.

- mcateer| 1 replymy mother has paid £500 to this company for pills she has been advised not to take with the medication that she is on . why do this company phone oaps to get their money
- Caller: sandra well being
- Richard replies to mcateerI have now been on to consumer direct http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Governmentcitizen ... ights/DG_183048
If you or a relative has been scammed by these people then call them, they are extremely helpful and are looking out for the consumer. If there are enough complaints against this compay they will pass it on to the OFT and get them shut down (again). If all that happens is moaning on line they are free to carry on. Obviously, if you are happy and have been treated well don't complain just to get money back as it detracts from genuine complaints. - jane| 1 replyhad call from 02 no because i am a outpatient at hospital they said they were interested in helping with my arthertis saying about rose x helping to relevive the syptoms of my complant i am not usally vunrable but seemed confincing he said his name was arther and he mentioned chocolates to be sent to him if i had the resuilts i wanted i have given bank details i cant beleive i have done this he did give me a customers ref no he had a forgien accent has anyone else had the same call i didt even ask where they got my no from i am x directory

- Cat replies to NancyNancy, and all the others who can't understand what this issue is here:
these companies are cold calling numbers that are registered NOT to receive cold calls. The register makes the cold call ILLEGAL. This is the problem. The other problem seems to be aggressive tactics, and misuse of credit card details. But regardless of how each individual has got on, the main issue is this company are behaving illegally as described above. They have called us twice now, despite the advice, twice, that we are TPS registered. This service requires that they stop calling and they ignore it. The second caller also lied to me. We have logged a complaint. In researching them I notice they have been shut down in the past for their dodgy antics. So it is not because they are telemarketing but because they are ignoring the law and, it would seem, if you check out the complaints on a variety of sites, defrauding people. - oraclesanda wellness rang to sell rosex vitamins

- christine taylor| 1 replyI was called by the company listed below they gave me a different address and phone no to others listed but it was 02086190075 Bloke said his name was ray then he handed me over to a woman who gave me the address of 32, Bolmoor Rd, Milton Keynes MK18 1RO and also gave me a company licence no of 6377623 and an order No. of 143416 I have been to the bank and put a stop on the payment as I foolishly gave my card no out. I can't believe I was so taken in by these people My only defence is when they offer you something to help you when you're in constant pain you clutch at any straws going.
