These people have called me five times in the last 24 hours. They are a pest and do their so-called research no good by this method of contacting.

I'm registered with TPS and since registration about 6 weeks  ago the difference has been quite dramatic with not a single unwanted call - until 10 minutes ago. This number has rung twice in the space of 5 minutes but left no message on the ansaphone. What is to be done now?

These Mori Poll idiots called me this evening and when I told the guy that the phone number was registered with TPS he became snotty and said it didn't apply to them as a market research organisation (which it doesn't) but you would think that these morons would realise that if you are registered with TPS you won't want to talk to them wouldn't you?

I was vey rude to him and hung up so hopefully they won't call again!

These goons have called again twice today. The TPS registration does not seem to apply to them or do they have some special dispensation?. .................Pests is too mild a term.

They've been trying to ring my mobile for weeks, if not months, but I have never answered, called back nor have any intention to do so. If I haven't answered any of their many calls, shouldn't that be enough of a hint??

Found out that they can call your number for research (and being registered with TPS or ex-directory doesn't matter if it's genuine research call apparently).
If you fill out the form on their site, as them to stop and tell them your tel number that you've received calls on, they'll stop all calls within a day. Worked a treat. Also had a prompt polite response to my e-mail (if you choose to leave one) confirming it has been done and apologising for the inconvenience. Perfect!

Keep getting calls to my works phone from this number, no message left but annoying as I am on call and think it's a call out!

I have been getting calls from this number amongst many others,I have to add,its only since I have had Sky installed,do you think there could be a common link here

This number doesn't even leave you alone at the weekend, I've had multiple calls daily, seven days a week, all picked up by my answer phone, no message ever left - very, very annoying; I was quite worried until I thought to Google the number and read all the other comments but now I know it's marketing I just hope they call when I'm in one day...

I've just had 2 calls today - thought it was something to do with my trip to London next week - been txting friends since to see if everything is ok

their phone number is 0131 467 6666. tell them you want to be on the "do not contact" list for this and every other project. you could give them your views as well!!

I have had so many calls from this number, and I haven't answered.  Calls early in the morning and late at night (10:30pm to me is unacceptable, especially since it is not somebody I know!)

I've started getting calls from this number on my mobile. In additional I'm being harrassed by reapeat calls (with held number) starting the same time. I was recently a students and have had the student survey emails mentioned by others so maybe how my (very private) details have been given. I intend to complain strongly to the university concerned and students union and suggest others do also.... let the companies paying for the surveys know the harrassment caused.

Had these people phone me on a Sunday afternoon asking me about how I spent my leisure time. I was tempted to simply answer that I was spending my leisure time being bothered by market researchers, but as is so often the case, I was too cross to be witty.

Next time, however, I will either make up some truly horrid and graphically upsetting answers, or just be completely contradictory:

"Do you play sports?"
"Oh, yes, I'm a keen sportsman."
"And how often do you play sports."
"Oh, hardly ever. I can't be bothered."

And so on.

I went on their website and was annoyed to find that they are so interested in having our views, they limit the comment box to 350 characters. Great.

as i belong to the telephone preference it really annoys me that i get calls from market research etc. surely they should check first if your number will receive these calls
