This number rang us last night.  Although the Telephone Preference Service does not apply to companies like this, who are not actually selling anything, they are still bound by the law regarding harassment.  More than call constitutes harssment, so report it to OFCOM.  You do NOT have to put up with it.

Just returned from being out all weekend to find this number on my call list, 2 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. I am sure this number will appear when I return home from work tonight. I cannot explain how angry I am about this. It is just as well I was not in to take the calls as I would have gone ballistic to have received this type of call on a weekend.

Hi, I've just got a missed call from this number and I typed it into Google on the off chance that it might come up with something. Am very pleased to see that it has. I shall no not to answer it in the future. I've registered my landline with TPS and still get nuisance calls (though this one was on my mobile). Reading the comments above it looks as though its not a very effective service!

Had a missed call on my mobile from this number today at 16:38. I don't answer any calls until i know who it is and i'm glad i didn't. Just typed the number into google on the off chance i could find out who it was and I'm glad i did.

This number called me today around 3pm but left no message on my answer phone.

Just got another call from them about 5 minutes ago. Luckily it is stored in my phone as 'Do Not Answer', so I didn't! I wonder why they display their number when they call people, most market research companies don't!

got it about five minutes ago too. Been calling me over the weekend and i keep hanging up. maybe I should get a little violent towards them....

got a call from tht number around 5ish which is a pain because i don't sign my number up for any marketing research so i don't know how they got it but nevermind i'll know not to answer in future.

Just received a call, was taken by my father, they had to wait for me to appear... they seemed to have hung up after just 30 seconds wait.

Got a call today (Saturday) at 10.30am, so inappropriate, Saturdays are for lie ins. Cancelled the call.

Calling at least once a day at the moment claiming to be NHS survey and wanting personal details about house, family and medical. "Number generated at random" is response to questions and not willing to talk unless asking questions.

TPS specifically does NOT cover market research calls.
