Have had about 6 calls from this lot.  Usually they get a quick 'drop dead', but I thought I'd play along today.  Got the whole lot, my computer is omitting dangerous messages, I need to turn it on my windows computer right now ' . . it was already on and it's an Imac so so told them they know s**t and they hung up, let's hope they don't call again

Asian guy, claiming to be from Microsoft - says microsoft servers are getting lots of error reports from my computer and this could slow down or crash my computer. He then tried to get me to access a web site - don't know which one, this was obviously some kind of scam, presumably leading to him selling me some miraculous error removing software, and I didn't think to write down the address of the site he was trying to give me.
He hung up when I asked for some verifiable details of who he was and where he was calling from.
(Incidentally, it sounded like he was ringing from a call centre judging by the type and amount of background noise)

Got a call from 02538020308, tried phoning back but got recorded message "This number has not been recognised ".

My son just got a call at home from this number, i'm at work, they told him to turn on the PC as we were sending them warning emails and they need to alter a setting. Thankfully my bright boy had the sense to ring up and call me. S**ts.

these are scam mongers who just want to get control of your computer.  There should be some way of stopping these crooks.

my answer machine took a message from this Asian guy who kept calling my husbands name and saying hello, eventually he went off. I tried 1471 +3  but it did not connect.

Same old same old just like previous fedupees above.
If the *ickheads who run this operation ever read the feedback here is one in th *alls for you.
If you call me again and ask me if I have a computer the reply will be foxtrot oscar - the owner died of boredom weeks ago and wish you lot could do the same!

I was called today (2011/07/30 12:17 UK time), caller greeted me as "Mr <partner's surname>", so I said "you obviously don't have a prior relationship with us since you've got my name wrong, what are you calling about?" -- She said "I'm sorry, I've obviously called a wrong number" and hung up.

Since in my professional life I advise people on how not to behave like a chump on the Internet and how not to install malware, it's a pity I didn't get to waste the caller's time further.  Ah well.

Now targetting Merseyside area. Just had a call of these now but didn't answer in time.

I have just received a call from this number, today Aug. 1st at 10.30 am, UK time.
The woman (who to me, sounded Chinese) said "Hi, I'm phoning in regard to your computer. Do you have a computer?"
I replied: "You're saying you are ringing about my computer and ask me if I have one!?"
She did not seem to like it, because she immediately hung up! Ha ha!

I do not believe it!! (Victor Meldrew) I think I am turning into him because of all these calls!! This morning it was 01234567890, which I reported, and now it is 02538020308!  The same story from the caller (Asian) as all the comments on your site.  I pointed out I am registered with the TPS but, of course, if they are operating out of the UK I don't think that carries any weight.  Even when I said I had nothing wrong with my computer, he still continued with his pointless talk so I hung up.  I am really concerned that, with all the encouragement for older people to 'get on line', they would not always be able to get rid of these callers and may even believe what they say, with the result of getting conned.

Two calls from this number. Asian accent - insists it isn't a scam! Demands put computer on so he can sort out Windows virus infections. Claims it is being infected every time I log on!! He would show me what to do.  He sounded hurt or annoyed when told he is talking nonsense and he should be ashamed of himself.

Have received several phone calls from this number - dodgy line, asian/indian accent. I asked for the company name and trading address and was told G1 Systems, Glasgow, right before the person on the other end put the phone down.

Got this phone number off 1471 and inputted on search.  Top line brought up www.ups.com and as I was expecting a delivery I clicked on the link.  What looked like bona fide UPS site came up and I started to input details to track the item.  I had second thoughts and looked at the other sites below UPS. Mostly they were scam warnings from this site. I then checked the tracking number and it had been sent from Fed-ex. Like all other correspondents I am fed up with all these scams and phishing but when reported nothing seems to get done to close these sites down.  With modern technology it should be easy to trace and close dow these sites.

call from 02538020308 this morning in South Yorkshire. Asian lady caller said was from Microsoft and/or Windows and my system is infected by potentially lethal virus. Would I boot up and she would give me step by step instructions to clear it. I said I would sort it and thank you very much. Only as an afterthought did I check up on number!

An Asian lady called about my computer! When asked if there was a number I could call her on she hung up.

Just got a call from that number...Asian guy ..with the name of Steve..yeh right !  Said he was from a  comapny called Global 'something' and that he knew my computer had some problems..which it hasn't.  I said give me your telephone number and he gave 0161 400 6234 which isn't the one that came up on caller display.  Everything I said echoed back at me which was wierd..probably on a speaker phone?
I asked him why my computer needed his help and he told me to turn it off and then turn it back on again ..which I declined. I asked him who was my broadband provider was & he never  answered.  In the end the call petered out and he hung up!  Very strange..not sure what it was all about but then searched the number on here and read all the remarks.. BTW I'm in the Medway Towns Kent..so they've moved areas!

i too had a call today which was a asian girl very good with what she new she said she had got my info from talk talk which  i fell into her trap upto the point of application where she was showing me how many warnings i had i kept saying this didnt sound right she said everything was being recorded for my protection  i then told her to ring me back later has i was very busy she said she would call me at 5 at tea time which she didnt i had took her number anyway called it back so i then new it was a scam. it just go to show that there are very clever because at first i realy thought it was talk talk.

I just had a missed call from this number, I have had the same(saying about virus on my pc)  3 times a day for the last week, but from a number that shows as 000000000 (I told them to f**k off very loudly), and no more calls until today from this number. I will do the same thing again if they ring back, they don't seem to like being told to f**k off very loudly! :P
